Quantum teleportation and thermal entanglement of two-scattering qubit state in graphene lattices

Hamza Mhamdi, L. Jebli, Nabil Habiballah +1 more

This paper presents an analytical investigation of the teleportation and the thermal entanglement of two identical qubits in the ground state of graphene lattices. The elastic interaction between the two qubits is considered as a scattering process. The modified Hamiltonian and density matrix of the system were presented. The teleportation and the entanglement of two-qubit system are analyzed through the study of the average fidelity of teleportation [Formula: see text], the concurrence [Formula: see text] and the entanglement of formation [Formula: see text]. The results depend on the temperature [Formula: see text] and also on the parameters of the system as the [Formula: see text] parameter of the interaction potential and [Formula: see text] band parameter. The study shows that the teleportation and the entanglement decrease when the temperature [Formula: see text] increases but they become all the more important as the parameters [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] increase.

Influence of an external electromagnetic field on quantum entanglement and coherence in a two-qubit graphene system

S. Mouslih, Zakaria Dahbi, M. Jakha +3 more

Abstract Graphene, with its two-dimensional carbon structure, exhibits unique quantum properties that are crucial for quantum computing. In this paper, we investigate the influence of an external electromagnetic field on quantum coherence and entanglement between two qubits in graphene lattices. Our findings show that an electromagnetic field with high field strength (ξ 0 ∼ 50 meV2) and low frequency (ω = 0.117 eV) significantly enhances quantum entanglement and coherence, even at elevated temperatures (T ∼ 20 meV). By adjusting the frequency and the field strength, these quantum effects can be preserved long enough at high temperatures. Furthermore, circular polarization of the electromagnetic field is found to be more effective than linear and elliptical polarizations in optimizing these effects. These results highlight the critical role of electromagnetic fields in enhancing quantum properties, potentially paving the way for advancements in quantum computing and related technologies.

Quantum teleportation between the narrow armchair graphene nanoribbons with zigzag ends

Xiao-Dong Tan, Le Zhang

Abstract We study quantum teleportation between the narrow armchair graphene nanoribbons (GNRs) with zigzag ends. Several influences including Coulomb repulsion among electrons, temperature and ribbon length on the output state and teleportation fidelity are discussed in detail. Moreover, we derive the entanglement of the output state and corresponding fidelity as a function of the input and channel entanglement. For practical applications, we also propose a scheme for implementing the single-qubit gates (X, Z and H gates) and two-qubit controlled-NOT gate in GNRs, based on the Bang-Bang control strategy and synchronous step magnetic field.
