Abstract

Standard Quantum Mechanics treats the complex wavefunction and its first-order time evolution as fundamental postulates. Expanding on the Selection-Stitch Model (SSM) [1], we propose that these properties are emergent consequences of a discrete, crystallized vacuum. We define a “particle” as a stable K = 13 topological defect within a K = 12 Face-Centered Cubic (FCC) lat- tice. We model the vacuum as a **Micropolar (Cosserat) Continuum**, where nodes possess both translational and rotational degrees of freedom. We introduce a novel **Chiral Velocity Coupling** into the lattice Lagrangian, arising from the broken mirror symmetry of the defect. We explicitly derive the equations of motion via the Euler-Lagrange formalism, demonstrating that this coupling generates the complex unit i. We calculate the Noether current associated with the global U (1) sym- metry, proving that the topological coupling ensures a positive-definite conserved charge. Finally, we provide a step-by-step derivation of the non-relativistic limit, recovering the exact Schr¨odinger equation and unifying the deterministic discrete vacuum programs of ’t Hooft and Kleinert [3, 4].

A Two-Step Quantum-Classical Threshold at 11.8–22.6 μg with Exact Ratio √3 from a Close-Packed Vacuum Lattice

Raghu Kulkarni

For decades, theoretical physics has struggled to discretize spacetime without inadvertently breaking Lorentz invariance [1,2]. Building upon the Selection-Stitch Model (SSM) [3], we model the vacuum as an emergent Face-Centered Cubic (FCC, K = 12) tensor network. In this unified framework, we demonstrate that the foun- dational scales of both relativity and quantum mechanics emerge naturally from the strict geometric limits of this saturated lattice. First, we show that the macroscopic speed of light (c) is simply a geometric renormalization of the underlying lattice hopping speed (c = 4vlattice). Second, rather than treating the Planck scale as an arbitrary mathematical cutoff, we derive the fundamental lattice spacing a≈0.77lP as the exact limit where the vacuum’s elastic energy density strikes the absolute a/√3 kinematic exclusion limit (the metric wall) [4]. Third, by treating the vacuum as a Chiral Cosserat continuum, we explicitly derive the complex unit i and the Schr¨odinger equation from lattice gyroscopics. Finally, by intersecting this wave mechanics with the metric wall, we predict a strictly falsifiable, two-step decoher- ence limit for macroscopic superposition: a soft onset of Schr¨odinger breakdown at msoft ≈28µg, and an absolute structural hard cutoff at mhard = √3msoft ≈49µg.

Part 7_The Structural Origin of Schrödinger-Type Dynamics from JS–SH Discrete Geometry

Seung Woo Hong

This work derives a Schrödinger-type evolution equation from first principles, starting exclusively from a discrete structural framework composed of JS-cells and SH-hub couplings. No quantum-mechanical postulates, complex wavefunctions, canonical quantization rules, or predefined physical constants are assumed at any stage. Each JS-cell carries a minimal two-channel real internal state, and neighboring cells interact locally through SH-hubs.Imposing a single universal requirement — strict conservation of a global quadratic structural norm — uniquely constrains the admissible dynamics. We show that: Norm preservation enforces an internal SO(2) symmetry, The unique generator of this symmetry is a real antisymmetric matrix J, Complex numbers and phase emerge only as a notation, not as assumptions, Local SH-hub connectivity forces a discrete Laplacian structure, The ordered continuum limit uniquely selects a first-order conservative time evolution. Only at the final stage is the resulting continuum equation identified as belonging to the Schrödinger universality class.Planck’s constant, mass, and potential appear as emergent structural parameters, fixed by discrete spatial and temporal scales. The derivation is non-circular, fully constructive, and independent of standard quantum axioms. An optional numerical sanity check confirms exact norm preservation and Schrödinger-class dispersion from the discrete update rule. This work provides a structural explanation for why Schrödinger dynamics exists, rather than assuming it.

The Strong Downgrade of the Schr¨odinger Equation: Uniqueness Theorem from Discrete Unitary Evolution to the Continuum Limit (Draft Version) — With a Purely Real-Number Derivation and Generalization to the Potential Term

Yan Zhuang

The Schr¨odinger equation is the central postulate of quantum mechanics. Standardquantum mechanics treats it as a fundamental assumption and does not deriveit from any deeper mechanism. In this paper, within the framework of ZTD (Marker Ontology), we prove astrong downgrade theorem: under the conditions of strict locality, unitarity, isotropy, and Markovianity, the continuum limit of the single-step evolution operatoron a discrete primitive network uniquely yields the Schr¨odinger equation. The core argument of the strong downgrade is:1. Unitarity + Markovianity → U = eiHtP ;2. Strict locality → H = αI + βA, higher-order terms are excluded;3. Isotropy → A → zI + l206 ∇2;4. Continuum limit → Schr¨odinger equation. This paper contains two appendices:Appendix 1 (Purely Real-Number Derivation): Decompose the unitaryoperator into real and imaginary parts, proving that the imaginary unit i emergesnaturally from real orthogonal evolution, eliminating the criticism of “deriving theimaginary from the imaginary.”Appendix 2 (Generalization to the Potential Term): Under the conditionthat “external constraints only modify the self-energy,” generalize the free-particleequation to the complete Schr¨odinger equation. Keywords: Schr¨odinger equation; strong downgrade; uniqueness theorem; discrete primitivenetwork; locality; unitary evolution; purely real-number derivation; potential term;ZTD theory

The Dynamics of Discrete Fact: A Phase-Transition Theory of Wavefunction Collapse

Ahmed Hamid

Abstract The quantum measurement problem—the absence of any dynamical mechanism connecting continuous wavefunction evolution to discrete empirical outcomes—has persisted since the foundations of quantum theory. Decoherence explains interference suppression but cannot explain outcome selection: the diagonal density matrix remains an improper mixture until one outcome is actualized. We propose that collapse is a physical phase transition in the coupled system–apparatus field. The order parameter ψ, constructed as a coarse-grained collective coordinate of apparatus degrees of freedom, evolves under Ginzburg–Landau dynamicswith a symmetry-breaking potential. When the coherence pressure γ exceeds a critical threshold γc, the symmetric phase(superposition) becomes unstable and the field crystallizes into one of the discrete stable minima (eigenstates). We derive the critical coupling from microscopic system–apparatus Hamiltonians, obtaining γc ∼ (√Ng)−1 where N is the number of apparatus degrees of freedom and g is the coupling constant. This scaling explains why macroscopic apparatus collapse wavefunctions while microscopic interactions preserve coherence. The Born rule Pn = |cn|2 is preserved through this dynamical selection mechanism: attractor basin geometry under probability-conserving flow converts probabilistic weights into definite outcomes without altering the underlying probabilities. The theory yields four falsifiable predictions absent from standard quantum mechanics: critical slowing near γc, hysteresis in the collapse–recoherence cycle, metastable supercooled superpositions, and transient Jacobian spikes at the moment of collapse. We provide quantitative estimates for superconducting qubit readout, predicting collapsetimes of order 100 ns with critical slowing observable within current experimental precision. This framework provides a concrete existence proof, within a controlled effective-theory regime, that collapse dynamics can be constructed from standard quantum mechanics plus statistical mechanics, requiring no modification to the Schr¨odinger equation.

The Mechanical Origin of Wave-Particle Duality and Quantum Probability: Deriving Pilot-Wave Dynamics, the Uncertainty Principle, and the Speed of Entanglement from a Quasicrystal Cosserat Vacuum

Shiva Meucci

The probabilistic nature of quantum mechanics has long been debated as either an intrinsic property of reality or a limit of human knowledge. We propose a third option: quantum phenomena are the deterministic mechanical consequences of wave propagation through a discrete, stiffness-limited medium---the Golden-Rhombohedral Cosserat Vacuum, a five-fold symmetric quasicrystal we term the quintinuum. Building on our previous derivations of the fine-structure constant (α\alpha α) and gauge symmetries (U(1), SU(2), SU(3)) from vacuum geometry, we now derive the phenomenological behavior of quantum matter. We demonstrate that: (1) Wave-particle duality arises from the interaction between a topological defect (the particle) and its precursor strain field (the wave); (2) The uncertainty principle is a bandwidth limit imposed by the finite stiffness of the vacuum lattice; (3) Quantum non-locality results from longitudinal scalar tension relaxing through a volume-preserving medium. Crucially, by restoring the scalar component of Maxwell's original quaternionic electromagnetism, we derive the propagation speed of this longitudinal tension. We predict the ``Speed of Entanglement'' to be finite but superluminal: \begin{equation*} v_L = c \cdot \varphi^{47} \approx 2.0 \times 10^{18} \text{ m/s} \end{equation*} This framework resolves the paradoxes of the Copenhagen interpretation by replacing abstract postulates with the concrete mechanics of a golden-rhombohedral quasicrystal. The universe is not magic; it is a machine. We have found the gears.

Quantum Reality from Micro-Causal Geometry: A Wavefunction-Free Resolution of Quantum Paradoxes

Jau Tang

We present a quantum framework grounded in micro-causality and spacetime quantization, where spacetime is composed of discrete, causally ordered units rather than a continuous manifold. This intrinsic structure naturally generates fundamental quantum features—wave–particle duality, energy quantization, and the Heisenberg uncertainty principle—without invoking canonical quantization, matter-wave postulates, or harmonic-oscillator models. Consequently, this paradigm eliminates the long-standing paradoxes of wavefunction collapse, self-interference, and non-local spooky correlations in entanglement.Within this causal lattice spacetime, quantum commutation relations emerge from finite shift operators, and the uncertainty principle arises geometrically from non-commutativity at the fundamental level. Unlike standard quantum field theory (QFT), which predicts infinite vacuum energy and requires renormalization, the present framework removes zero-point energy, ultraviolet divergences, and fine-tuning. Moreover, U(1) symmetry is broken geometrically on the lattice, leading to mass generation without a Higgs mechanism. The Casimir effect is reinterpreted as a temperature-dependent imbalance in thermal radiation pressure rather than the consequence of vacuum fluctuations, predicting that the Casimir force should vary with ambient temperature. Experimental confirmation of such dependence would directly support the lattice interpretation and challenge the QFT view of vacuum energy.By unifying key quantum behaviors through discrete causal geometry, this model offers a divergence-free and physically grounded alternative to continuum-based QFT. It opens new avenues for quantum unification, cosmology, and the understanding of fundamental constants, without speculative constructs, singularities, or infinities.
