Abstract

## SymbioMind SIP-01 Landing Bundle **Manifesto + Rigorous Core + Curriculum Companion** This record packages three coordinated artifacts that together demonstrate the fullSIP (SymbioMind Integration Paper) development protocol — from philosophical framingto referee-safe formalism and teachable methodology. ### Included Artifacts 1. **SIP-01 (Manifesto / Ontology)** *Quantum Homeostasis: The Dead Cat — Thermal Time and Non-Equilibrium Coherence Maintenance* Establishes the ecological diagnosis and triadic framing of coherence as a maintained nonequilibrium condition. 👉 Original prior-art record: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18397161 2. **SIP-01-R (Rigorous / Journal-Grade Core Manuscript)** *Quantum Homeostasis: Nonequilibrium Coherence Maintenance via Engineered Dissipation* A referee-safe formalization using: - coherence defined as a constrained resource (relative entropy of coherence), - completely positive, trace-preserving (CPTP) Lindblad dynamics via engineered reservoirs, - explicit separation of metaphor, heuristic, and formal claims. 3. **SIP-01-R-EDU (Curriculum / Annotated Companion)** *From Metaphor to Referee-Proof Physics* An educational artifact documenting the steel-manning process: how an initial philosophical manuscript was rigorously repaired to survive expert peer review, including exercises and methodological commentary. ### How to Use This Bundle - **Conceptual framing / priority** → cite *SIP-01 (Manifesto)* - **Technical claims / equations** → cite *SIP-01-R (Rigorous)* - **Methodology / teaching / replication** → cite *SIP-01-R-EDU* ### Why This Bundle Exists This bundle is a concrete demonstration of the *Age of Abundance* in scientific work:not faster text generation, but faster convergence toward correctness throughtransparent iteration, explicit error repair, and human–AI collaboration thatpreserves epistemic sovereignty. Quantum Homeostasis and the Ecology of Classical Reality A short guide for readers encountering a single thread

John Richard Smith, SHAI / HATI

Abstract (informal) Contemporary debates about quantum foundations, decoherence, and AI alignment often treat physics, engineering, and governance as separate concerns. This short paper provides an integrated overview of the SymbioMind research stack, a framework that treats quantum coherence, time, and alignment as ecological phenomena: emergent, maintained, and governed rather than merely calculated. We outline two complementary physical mechanisms for quantum–classical transition, a homeostatic model of coherence preservation, and a stewardship-based publication protocol designed for an era of abundant computation and dual-use risk.

Quantum Homeostasis : The Dead Cat Thermal Time and Non-Equilibrium Coherence Maintenance

John Richard Smith Smith, SHAI / HATI

Abstract We present a framework of Quantum Homeostasis wherein temporal modes (Past, Present, Future) are thermodynamic attractors, not external parameters. The “Dead Cat” (Past) represents terminal stasis (high-entropy eigenstate); the “Live Cat” (Future) represents maintained disequilibrium via metabolic work; the “Unknown Cat” (Present) represents the timeless Wheeler-DeWitt constraint. By extending the Connes-Rovelli thermal time hypothesis with a non-equilibrium chemical potential for coherence (Λ), we derive a homeostatic Lindbladian that actively maintains quantum superposition against environmental decoherence. This provides the ontological foundation for error-prevention architectures in quantum systems. Keywords: quantum homeostasis, thermal time hypothesis, decoherence, Lindbladian dynamics, Wheeler-DeWitt equation, non-equilibrium thermodynamics, quantum error prevention

SIP-PHY-NOTE-02 — Time as Quantum State / C as Observer-Operator

John Richard Smith, SHAI / HATI

Description This working note preserves a foundational reframing proposal made during the 19 May 2026 SymbioMind research conversation. The proposal suggests that within the Coherence–Decoherence–Recoherence (CDR) triplet, coherence (C) may not be a third regulatory phase co-equal with decoherence (D) and recoherence (R), but rather an observer-operator that collapses a D/R superposition into a particular realisation. On this reading, D and R are bonded as the two outcomes of a quantum-state-like structure, with C functioning analogously to the slit-choice in a double-slit experiment. If the proposal holds, it restructures the foundations of CDR by making C and D/R different kinds of mathematical object (C as operator, D and R as states), introduces the observer at the foundations of the framework rather than as a late addition, opens a fourth branch on the registered fork concerning the ontological status of time, and gives the Klein-surface-like recoherence topology a sharper role as the natural geometry of D/R bondedness. The note is parked rather than developed because the proposal admits three possible versions — formal (importing the full quantum-mechanical apparatus), structural-analogy (using the quantum framing without the formalism), and heuristic (using the double-slit as a vivid picture only). Development requires deciding which version is intended. The note records the proposal cleanly so that future work can begin from an intact starting point. It is not for publication as a stand-alone paper at this stage. The note identifies five conditions that may trigger development into a formal paper: a clear decision on which version is intended; availability of a mathematical collaborator; completion of the η(Φ) thermodynamic foundation; literature search confirming originality of the configuration; or emergence of a test case that distinguishes the proposal from the alternative.

APF Paper 14 — Quantum Mechanics from Beginning to End — Technical Supplement

Ethan Brooke

This is the Technical Supplement — the proof-dense companion and the canonical formal record for the paper's claims. The main paper argues; the supplement proves. Every load-bearing claim traces to a named check function in the APF verification engine, and the supplement is the document a referee should audit first. The supplement is self-contained for Paper 14: every definition, proof, and grade the paper rests on appears in this one document — the substrate primitives and the marginal admissibility floor, proved; the locality and cost-uniqueness lemmas; the Δ calculus with both fences' witnesses written out; the Boolean-defender bridge with its five certified physical hypotheses and the 3-4-5 worked witness computed on the page; the gate pipeline with a gate-by-axiom comparison to the operational-reconstruction literature (Hardy; Chiribella–D'Ariano–Perinotti; Masanes–Müller; Barnum–Wilce; Spekkens; Abramsky–Brandenburger); the native correlation family constructed explicitly, rung by rung; the resolution triad set against standard thermodynamics (Landauer, erasure, environment-assisted recovery); a consolidated readings register listing every claim below [P] with its falsifier and status; a glossary mapping the framework's vocabulary onto standard quantum-information terms; and a worked end-to-end instance — device to interrogation normal form to exact feasibility certificate to priced ledger, with every tolerance explicit. A reproducibility appendix pins every claim to the APF theorem bank at a named GitHub commit and the archived Engine release (DOI 10.5281/zenodo.18529115); the certificates reproduce deterministically in exact rational arithmetic. About the series. Admissibility Physics is a structural realist reconstruction program built on a single commitment: any bounded region of the world can hold only finitely many distinctions. A principle of least enforcement cost then selects, among all the ways those distinctions might be arranged, the configurations a finite world can sustain. From this the content of physics is reconstructed rather than postulated: the Standard Model's gauge group and matter content, the Hilbert-space and Born-rule architecture of quantum mechanics, the geometry and field equations of general relativity, the four laws of thermodynamics, and the large-scale budget of cosmology emerge as different readings of one finite-capacity ledger. The unification is quantitative as well as conceptual: the framework's dimensionless constants appear not as free parameters but as counts read off that ledger — among them the dark-energy fraction ΩΛ = 42/61 and the weak mixing angle sin2θW = 3/13 — fixed, in the strongest cases, to within current measurement. The core derivation runs Papers 0–11; the extension papers carry the individual sectors. Each paper's main text and Technical Supplement is deposited separately; every quantitative claim traces to a named, executable check in the public theorem bank (over 3,800 bank-registered theorems, 48 quantitative predictions); and each result is carried at an explicit, graded level of confidence — from analytically forced to structurally grounded — with the measurements that would refute it named. Admissibility Physics is offered as a candidate, not a finished theory. If the program holds, the laws of physics could not have been otherwise: they are what a finite world permits. A Quantified Open Region of Carrier Non-Identifiability in Fragment-Averaged Pointer Information: A Parameterized Interval Certificate for Four Qubits

Yoichi Tsujisawa

Correction in version 1.1 (2026-10-18) The Decimal/Fraction interval engine distributed with version 1.0 used context-sensitive Decimal unary negation and absolute value on interval endpoints. These operations can round inward, so the recorded P02G certificate in v1.0 should not be treated as a rigorously outward-rounded enclosure. Version 1.1 repairs those operations using exact copy_negate() and copy_abs(), hardens the second interval implementation's row-bound selection, and regenerates the interval reports, checksums, and reproducibility manifest. The certified rectangle, theorem scope, and all 34 mathematical environments in the manuscript remain unchanged. Repaired P02G and the separately implemented mpmath.iv P02J both pass the original theorem gates. The result remains conditional computer-assisted mathematical evidence, not formal machine verification or external peer review. Previous version (v1.0): https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.23438614 This unrefereed research preprint establishes a computer-assisted, quantitatively certified non-identifiability result for fragment-size-averaged Holevo information in an N=4 environment with two equiprobable pure pointer-conditioned branches. For every point in an explicitly specified closed rational rectangle of coordinate area 4 × 10^-14, two realizations of the complete averaged Holevo information curve exist: one with minimum pure-common-rest carrier size two and another with carrier size four. The proof combines a uniform parameterized contraction mapping, directed interval arithmetic with a second interval implementation, and an intermediate-value construction. Reproducibility materials include the certification programs, frozen numerical certificates, SHA-256 checksums, and a standalone 200-state numerical comparison against direct 16-dimensional partial traces. Both interval implementations share the underlying analytic Holevo reduction and do not constitute independent symbolic proofs. The conclusions are restricted to N=4, equiprobable pure branches, fragment-size-averaged Holevo information, and the specified carrier definition. They do not establish non-identifiability for arbitrary N, mixed states, unequal priors, or individual labeled-fragment information. This is an unrefereed preprint, not a formally verified or peer-reviewed mathematical theorem. Comprehensive novelty priority is not claimed.
