This study presents an ontological falsification by logical contradiction of the hypothesis that “acausality is the ultimate nature of microscopic reality,” grounded in the Macroscopic Scalability Principle as reinforced by a series of macroscopic quantum experiments culminating in the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physics. The argument demonstrates that, if acausality were ontologically real at the microscopic level, there must exist a nonzero probability (p > 0) for a direct macroscopic signature of acausality to appear under physically achievable isolation conditions; however, to date, no experimental observation satisfies this requirement. On 7 October 2025, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences awarded the NobelPrize in Physics to John Clarke , Michel H. Devoret , and John M.Martinis "for the discovery of macroscopic quantum mechanical tunnellingand energy quantisation in an electric circuit" (Physical Review Letters 55,1543 and 55, 1908, 1985). Their experiments demonstrated that quantumeffects — tunnelling through energy barriers and occupying discrete quantisedenergy levels — are not confined to the subatomic world but operate inmacroscopic systems large enough to be held in the hand. This paperdemonstrates that the 2025 Nobel Prize provides direct experimental supportfor seven foundational elements of the Quantum Ocean hypothesis (Parts 27–34). Specifically: (1) The discovery that quantum behaviour emerges as thedefault when decoherence is removed validates Part 27's foundational axiom(Quantum is the Default). (2) The observation of macroscopic quantumtunnelling validates the mechanism by which universes nucleate in thequantum ocean (Coleman-De Luccia vacuum decay, Part 30). (3) Themeasurement of quantised energy levels in macroscopic circuits validates theΩ-quantum model of discrete internal states (Part 32). (4) The collectivequantum behaviour of trillions of Cooper pairs acting as a single quantum entityvalidates the ocean's behaviour as a collective quantum system (Part 29). (5)The Josephson junction — two superconductors separated by a thin insulatingbarrier through which quantum effects propagate — is a laboratory-scalestructural analogue of the bubble wall separating universe from ocean (Part30). (6) The tilted washboard potential governing the Josephson junction isstructurally identical to the false vacuum landscape governing bubblenucleation. (7) Martinis's subsequent invention of the superconducting qubitand his leadership of Google's quantum computing program (Sycamore 2019,Willow 2024) demonstrates a direct causal chain from the Nobel discovery tothe quantum computers our framework identifies as ocean probes (Part 28).Five elements across Parts 27–32 are upgraded from [P] Plausible to [E]Established (Nobel-validated). 🌌 Interactive Space Research Assistant: Explore and ask questions about this research interactively with the Quantum Ocean Framework Ai Chat (or talk directly with the Quantum Ocean Framework Ai voice conversation).
Abstract Modern physics contains celebrated foundational problems whose empirical foundations are exceptionally strong while some ontological narratives attached to them are less tightly constrained. This paper develops a local logic audit of individual inferential transitions from established empirical facts O and accepted formal constraints F to stronger physical or ontological conclusions P. Core Unit: A single inferential arrow: given O and F, does P follow? If (O AND F) does not entail P, P is not declared false; it is returned to the status of an additional premise. Methodology: Subtractive and prior to solution-building—before asking how a proposed process X occurs, the audit asks whether the declared O and F establish that X occurs at all. Adjudication: Once inputs are declared, adjudication is logical rather than interpretive. Factual primacy is epistemic rather than metaphysical: a formal derivation cannot supply its own empirical warrant, and a prediction must return to an independently acquired record before it can function as evidence. Domain-Specific Audits The method is applied through three domain-specific audits, with a transversal question-level audit operating within them rather than constituting a fourth domain: 1. The Double-Slit Experiment: Physical which-path interactions alter the relevant state without requiring any special causal role for conscious observation; sequential localized detections nevertheless accumulate into an interference distribution, while quantum-eraser protocols display conditioned correlations without retroactively changing an earlier local record. 2. Reflexive Born-Rule & Entanglement: Separates empirical success, formal derivation, and ontological explanation. The familiar question "what physically collapses the wavefunction?" is audited before it is answered: a formal state update does not by itself establish an ontic wavefunction undergoing a literal physical collapse. In entanglement, operational differentiation, spatial separation, and dynamical decoupling do not by themselves establish physical severance or exhaustive ontological decomposition; the same audit is applied to the EPR Reality Criterion and to narratives of nonlocal recoordination. Relativistic Physics & Quantum Gravity 3. Background Ontology: The third audit asks what background ontology quantum foundations actually require from relativistic physics. Clock relations and Lorentzian structure do not by itself entail time as an independently fundamental substance or four-dimensional spacetime as the uniquely fundamental ontology. Gravitational phenomena and the tested structure of general relativity likewise constrain any deeper account without uniquely fixing its ontology. The GPS Example: The distinction among ontology, physics, and engineering is made explicit through the GPS example: technological dependence on relativistic timing validates the physical relations required for operation while fundamental ontology remains a further question. Quantum-Gravity Audit: Asks what observation, prediction, or formal structure of established quantum theory presently fails in an empirically demonstrated way because gravity has not been made a fundamental quantum interaction, separating cross-framework consistency from prior commitment to one ontology of the deeper theory.
Experimental Signatures and Falsifiability of Phase Ontology: How a Phase-Primary Framework Can Be Tested (Phase Ontology — Part VII) completes the Phase Ontology series by translating its core claims into concrete, falsifiable expectations. While Parts I–VI argue that phase coherence is physically real and that spacetime is an emergent projection of stable phase relations, this paper makes the scientific demand explicit: the framework must constrain what should be observed in the laboratory—not merely reinterpret existing results. The paper outlines a set of testable signatures that should appear if measurement is genuinely a phase-locking process, if coherence is a physical resource that can be preserved or dispersed, and if detectors and environments are active material participants rather than generic sources of noise. Key experimental arenas include: (1) detector-dependent phase-locking thresholds (e.g., interferometry where small, controlled detector-material changes produce disproportionate shifts in localization/fringe behavior), (2) coherence capacity and delayed classicality (engineered environments that produce non-linear regime changes rather than only smooth decoherence), (3) entanglement under structured phase environments (sensitivity to structured phase modulation beyond standard loss/noise parameters), (4) precision clocks as phase probes (searching for residual coherence-environment dependencies beyond known systematics), and (5) macroscopic coherence bridge regimes in superconducting and mesoscopic networks where topology and coupling geometry should matter in structured ways. Crucially, the paper states what falsification would look like in practice: if across multiple platforms detector variations yield no structured threshold effects, coherence isolation produces only fully predictable smooth behavior, entanglement responds solely to standard channel parameters, and precision clocks show no reproducible residual coherence-structure dependence, then Phase Ontology remains an interpretation but loses its claim to be an empirically distinct physical framework. A staged experimental program is proposed, moving from tabletop interferometry to progressively more demanding coherence and clock tests.
This release presents the author-certified reference version of the Unified Coherence–Entropy Collapse (QCE) framework, describing quantum-consciousness collapse dynamics governed by entropy, Fisher information, and coherence constraints, with explicit falsifiability and reproducibility protocols. This deposit is associated with U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 63/945,292 (filed 19 Dec 2025). This Zenodo record is provided for scholarly citation and scientific recordkeeping. It does not indicate that any patent has been granted and does not grant any license to practice any invention; patent rights, if any, are governed solely by applicable law and issued claims, if ever granted. This work introduces a formally defined coherence–entropy control variable and associated mathematical framework intended for independent falsification and validation. The paper presents explicit definitions, derivations, and testable predictions designed to support replication, simulation, and experimental evaluation by third parties. The contribution is purely scientific in scope. It does not describe a commercial product, implementation, or applied system. Instead, it provides a theoretical construct and validation pathway suitable for academic review, preregistration-style analysis, and institutional replication efforts. The work is assigned a DOI to support citation, versioning, and scholarly reference. The work is released to support open scientific scrutiny, error discovery, and independent verification.
FINDING: The 2025 Nobel Prize in Physics centers on experimental proof that quantum mechanics governs macroscopic phenomena — specifically quantum tunneling and the "quantumness" of reality — with Google's Quantum AI and MIT single-photon experiments as corroborating evidence. | MATH: No new fundamental equation is presented in the titles/descriptions; the core mathematics remains the Schrödinger equation iℏ∂t∂∣ψ⟩=H^∣ψ⟩, with tunneling probability T≈e−2κL where κ=2m(V0−E)/ℏ. The MIT single-photon experiment confirms the Born rule P=∣⟨ϕ∣ψ⟩∣2. | CONNECTION: The tunneling exponent e−2κL is a decaying exponential — its characteristic decay length 1/κ has no inherent ratio to 0.618 or 1.618. However, the *macroscopic* tunneling demonstrated (likely in superconducting qubits or Josephson junctions) involves phase coherence, where Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK. The Reid Conjecture: Observation as Emergent Dimension — Complete Document Package This repository contains the complete document package for the Reid Conjecture (Reid-Claude, 2026), a structured conjecture in the foundations of quantum mechanics proposing that the assumption of dimensional homogeneity — the implicit treatment of all dimensions as structurally identical — may constitute an unexamined constraint on foundational physics. By removing this assumption and introducing a taxonomy that classifies dimensions into three categorical types (geometric, experiential, emergent), the conjecture proposes that observation constitutes a bounded coordinate on an extended 5D manifold whose metric contribution is conditionally active. The governing dynamics are given by the Reid Equation: ∂Ψ/∂ω = −D̂Ψ The state of reality evolves along an observation axis the same way it evolves along time — but instead of changing what happens next, it determines what becomes real. The framework adds no new particles, forces, symmetries, or universes. It operates by removing a constraint, not adding structure. Explicit falsification conditions are stated throughout. Every claim is tagged [G] geometric, [D] dynamic, or [I] interpretive, with the interpretive layer explicitly expendable.
