Abstract

Time--Space Oscillations (TSO): A Comprehensive Overview of the Research Corpus The Time--Space Oscillations (TSO) framework offers a deterministic and geometric perspective on physics, unifying classical mechanics, quantum phenomena, and relativistic effects through the phase geometry of time and space. By modeling particles and fields as intertwined temporal–spatial oscillations, TSO provides intuitive explanations for entanglement, inertia, wave–particle duality, and the emergence of forces. This document presents a structured overview of the TSO research corpus, summarizing approximately 20 published papers. It highlights key conceptual foundations, theoretical developments, and explorative applications, while summarising and clarifying the various temporal–spatial wave function representations and Cauchy integral formulations employed throughout the articles. In addition, the overview offers guidance for navigating the full corpus and understanding interrelations among the papers, enabling readers to approach TSO research systematically. By presenting both the foundational principles and advanced structures in a coherent manner, this overview serves as a roadmap for further theoretical exploration and applied research within the TSO framework. Time--Space Oscillations and Quantum Mechanics

de Leeuw, Norman

This work introduces Time–Space Oscillations (TSO), a deterministic geometric framework that reinterprets fundamental quantum phenomena as natural consequences of oscillatory structures in complex spacetime. Unlike standard quantum mechanics, which is probabilistic and incomplete, TSO provides a complete underlying phase geometry from which uncertainty, quantisation, entanglement, zero-point energy, path integrals, and interference phenomena emerge naturally. This Version presents the framework as a conceptual and structural exploration intended to stimulate discussion and critical engagement. Readers are invited to explore how classical deterministic oscillations can underpin observed quantum behavior, bridging the gap between geometric intuition and the apparent probabilistic rules of the quantum world. This article with its preceding articles on TSO lays the foundation for a future monograph that will consolidate the full theory in a single work. This article, together with the preceding works — Time–Space Oscillations: A Geometric and Deterministic Approach to Relativistic and Quantum Phenomena (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17534735), Time Dilation and the Nature of Gravitational and Inertial Forces (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17543060), and Time–Space Oscillations and Electromagnetics (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17591326) — provides a comprehensive introduction to the TSO model and its deterministic approach to quantum mechanics. Time–Space Oscillation as a Generalized Hilbert–CEGS Framework: Mathematical Foundations and Representational Limits

de Leeuw, Norman

Description:This work introduces a novel framework for understanding the intrinsic dynamics of elementary particles through Time–Space Oscillation (TSO), a geometric-oscillatory approach in which particles are modeled as intrinsic oscillators embedded in locally curved time–space submanifolds. We explore the mathematical boundary between conventional quantum mechanics and richer, multi-valued particle dynamics, showing that while certain TSO phenomena are compatible with standard Hilbert-space representations, essential features—such as nonlinear mode coupling, multi-slice evolution, and curvature-induced phase thickening—require a more general formalism: the Calculus of Element-Generated Sets (CEGS). By connecting TSO dynamics to CEGS, we provide: Explicit examples of Hilbert-compatible vs non-Hilbert TSO states A causal interpretation of quantum measurement via driven oscillator dynamics A comparison with standard quantum interpretations, including Many-Worlds, Copenhagen, and Bohmian mechanics This article offers both a mathematical foundation and a conceptual lens to reconcile conventional quantum theory with the richer dynamics implied by TSO, opening new avenues for understanding particle behavior beyond standard linear frameworks. For readers new to the Time–Space Oscillation framework, a structured overview of the four foundational TSO conceptual papers is available in “Time Space Oscillations. Introduction papers” (Zenodo DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.1767154). This companion document summarises the core principles of TSO —TSO concept, Time dilation and Gravity equivalence, TSO & EM, TSO & QM—and provides direct links to the full manuscripts. It serves as the recommended starting point for understanding how the present photon model fits into the broader TSO structure. And on CEGS Zenodo DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.16904171. TSO: Rescuing Schroedingers Cat in the Time–Space Oscillation Framework

de Leeuw, Norman

TSO: Rescuing Schrödinger’s Cat Quantum paradoxes like Schrödinger’s Cat have long challenged our understanding of reality, suggesting worlds where particles—and even cats—exist simultaneously alive and dead. This work introduces the framework of Time–Space Oscillators (TSO), which models particles as six-dimensional helical oscillators embedded in a multiversal 6D phase space. Generalising its structure using recursive Cauchy integrals and analytic continuation, we show how the apparent multiplicity of outcomes arises naturally from oscillatory structure rather than ontological duplication, providing a geometric resolution to quantum paradoxes and a pathway for the emergence of classicality without external decoherence. Building on prior work on TSO dimensionality constructions (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17849427), Rescuing Schrödinger’s Cat refines the vision of quantum branching, emphasizing particle singularity while capturing the richness of probabilistic observation. This approach bridges foundational physics, visualizable geometry, and analytic recursion, offering a fresh lens on the quantum–classical boundary and retrocausal phenomena. For newcomers, a structured overview of the foundational TSO papers is available in “Time Space Oscillations. Introduction papers” (Zenodo DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.1767154). It guides readers through the core principles of TSO—Time dilation and Gravity equivalence, TSO & EM, TSO & QM—and shows how the present work fits into the broader framework. Time–Space Oscillations (TSO) Computing. Theoretical framework and discussion

de Leeuw, Norman

Time–Space Oscillations (TSO) Computing. Theoretical framework and discussion This work introduces a speculative yet mathematically grounded computational framework based on Time–Space Oscillations (TSO). Departing from classical Turing machines and quantum gate-based models, TSO computation encodes information in continuous oscillatory degrees of freedom—phases, amplitudes, and recursive analytic continuations—rather than discrete logic states or qubits. Computation is realized through recursive Cauchy integral continuation in a complex analytic phase space, generating a multiversal ensemble of dynamically coupled branches. Within this ensemble, solutions emerge as invariant, stable eigenstates selected through interference, phase coherence, and energy–phase dynamics. Fourier structure is intrinsic to the model: harmonic content is accessed directly via oscillator dynamics, eliminating the need for explicit iterative transforms. The framework replaces time-based algorithmic complexity with an alternative notion of existence complexity, in which problems are solved by the presence of invariant-consistent branches rather than by sequential evaluation. Measurement acts as projection or stabilization rather than computation itself. Beyond computational implications, the paper explores conceptual connections to multiverse interpretations of physics, analytic continuation as a physical process, and the possibility that existence itself may be interpreted as a global fixed point of recursive oscillatory dynamics. While speculative, the TSO model offers a unified perspective bridging computation, physics, and philosophy, and suggests new directions for non-Turing and non-quantum computational paradigms. For newcomers, a structured overview of the foundational TSO papers is available in “Time Space Oscillations. Introduction papers” (Zenodo DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.1767154). The Photon as a Spatial TSO: Measurement, Polarisation, and Emergent Frequency

de Leeuw, Norman

This article presents a new physical picture of the photon based on the Time–Space Oscillation (TSO) framework. In this model, free light contains no temporal oscillation at all: its structure is entirely spatial (t=0, x -> infty). Wave-like behaviour, frequency, and even polarisation do not exist intrinsically, but appear only when a photon interacts with matter. We show that measurement itself generates the observed electromagnetic oscillation by projecting the spatial TSO onto the detector’s mixed time–space basis. This mechanism produces: an emergent electromagnetic frequency determined by the detector’s local TSO rate and interaction energy, particle-like absorption whenever the detector locally captures the TSO energy packet, and exactly two observable polarisations, arising from the two allowed electron–positron pair combinations within the photonic TSO microstructure. The resulting framework reproduces all standard optical outcomes yet replaces the conventional “photon as a wave–particle” duality with a single coherent structure. The paper provides analytic expressions for measurement probabilities, polarisation selection rules, and frequency emergence, together with clear experimental signatures suitable for cavity QED and precision optics tests. This work extends earlier TSO studies on zero-energy states and vacuum stability and offers a unified interpretation of light based purely on interaction-driven dynamics rather than intrinsic wave–particle categories. For readers new to the Time–Space Oscillation framework, a structured overview of the four foundational TSO conceptual papers is available in “Time Space Oscillations.
