Abstract

This paper proposes a novel theoretical framework based on discrete geometricflow and quantum state evolution to study topological phase transitions and theemergence of low-energy effective physics in quantum geometry. We construct discrete geometric dynamics on a three-dimensional periodic point cloud, driving edgelength evolution via the discrete Ricci flow equation, and attach a four-dimensionallocal Hilbert space to each edge, representing the quantum state of the system usingmatrix product states (MPS). Numerical simulations show that during the evolution of the discrete Ricci flow, the system undergoes a topological phase transitionat a specific curvature threshold, manifested as a jump in Betti numbers detectedby persistent homology. After the phase transition, the geometric mean curvature and the low-energy spectral gap of the quantum system synchronously entera plateau region, exhibiting a stable inverse relationship: ¯ ∆ = Λ/∥ ¯R∥+δ, whereΛ is an O(1) constant and δ is a small correction. This result, for the first timeat the numerical level, realizes a complete causal chain from pure geometric evolution to the generation of quantum low-energy parameters, providing a computableexample for the idea that ”geometric flow is renormalization group flow”.

SPECTRAL VACUUM MECHANISM — PART XXXVII Phase Geometry as the Structural Origin of Quantization and Infrared Curvature A Unified Spectral Reconstruction Framework

Mikhail Nemirovsky

Abstract We establish a complete geometric reconstruction framework in which quantization, symplectic structure, and infrared curvature emerge from the discrete phase overlaps between low-energy eigenstates of the spectral vacuum Hessian H. This work provides a rigorous derivation of Planck's constant ℏ as a measurable geometric quantity rather than a fundamental postulate. Key Results: 1. Emergent Symplectic Structure: From discrete phase overlaps θₐᵦ = arg⟨ψₐ|ψᵦ⟩, we construct a closed, non-degenerate 2-form: ω = Σ_{⟨ab⟩∈𝒩} (dθₐᵦ ∧ dλₐ) / √(ΔₐΔᵦ) satisfying the symplectic condition dω = 0 and rank(ω) = 2n, providing the first principles derivation of Hamiltonian dynamics from spectral data. 2. Geometric Origin of ℏ: We prove that Planck's constant emerges as the minimal symplectic area of a phase-space cell in the reconstructed manifold: ℏ ≈ ∮_{∂Σ} θₐᵦ dλ ≡ Area_ω(cell) linking quantization to the topological density of the spectral graph. 3. Topological Phase Invariants: We demonstrate that the discrete phases θₐᵦ converge to the Berry curvature and the Aharonov-Bohm phase shift in the continuum limit, where the magnetic flux is recovered as a spectral holonomy: Φ_AB = ∮_Γ 𝒜_Berry · dl establishing the framework as a discrete U(1) gauge theory on eigenvalue space. 4. Infrared Curvature Scaling: We show that the spectral gap Δ of the vacuum Hessian dictates the large-scale (IR) curvature of the emergent manifold: R_curv ~ 1 / √Δ offering a natural resolution to the infrared divergence problem and linking the cosmological constant to spectral stability. 5. Phase-Space Crystallization: We introduce the concept of Phase-Space Crystallization: quantization as a phase transition from continuous (classical) to discrete (quantum) phase space, with the spectral gap Δ acting as the order parameter: Δ = 0 → ℏ_eff = 0 (liquid/classical) Δ > 0 → ℏ_eff > 0 (crystal/quantum) exhibiting critical scaling ℏ_eff ~ (τ - τ_c)^(1/4) near the transition, where quantum mechanics emerges as the 'solid phase' of spectral geometry. Verification and Implementation: The framework is verified via a Discrete Exterior Calculus (DEC) pipeline through 10-seed Monte Carlo simulations confirming: • Symplectic closure: |dω| < 10⁻¹⁴ (machine precision) • Phase coherence: ⟨|δθ|⟩ < 10⁻³ • ℏ_eff stability: σ/⟨ℏ_eff⟩ < 5% • IR residual: R_IR/R* = 1.02 ± 0.02 with full Python implementation provided for reproducibility. Significance: This work completes the SVM foundation by showing that: • Quantization is geometric, not axiomatic • Planck's constant ℏ is a derived quantity from phase overlap structure • Symplectic geometry emerges from Berry phase curvature • Gauge theory (U(1)) arises from spectral holonomy (Aharonov-Bohm equivalence) • Quantum mechanics is a 'crystalline phase' of spectral geometry thereby unifying quantum mechanics, gauge invariance, and emergent gravity under a single spectral principle, with no external postulates. Time Quantum Geometrization 1; The Origin of Time: Emergent Partial-Order Slices as Quantum Information Renormalization Flow

changzheng zhou, ZIQING zhou

The problem of the origin of time, i.e., ”how time emerges from the foundationof quantum gravity,” is a central challenge in modern physics. This paper proposesa background-independent and computable emergence mechanism: time is not ana priori coordinate but rather a chain of partially ordered slices spontaneouslyorganized by quantum geometric states under the action of discrete renormalizationgroup flow. We construct a joint categorical framework that unifies the entanglement renormalization of spin networks and the geometric evolution of discrete Ricciflowas afunctorial evolution sequence. It is theoretically proven that when the jointevolution follows macroscopic monotonicity of entanglement entropy, this sequencenaturally generates a causal chain with a natural partial order. The macroscopic”time measure” is given by a topological invariant—the H0 barcode length in persistent homology—and its ”arrow of time” is locked by the irreversible growth ofentanglement entropy, without requiring additional thermodynamic or boundarycondition assumptions. We conduct large-scale numerical experiments on a 323periodic lattice, verifying the core theoretical prediction: the barcode lifetime Land the system’s low-energy spectral gap ∆ exhibit a universal inverse relationship, satisfying ∆ · L = 0.144(5), with a coefficient of determination R2 = 0.999.This mechanism directly leads to two observable cosmological predictions: 1) A”barcode modulation” in the low-ℓ power spectrum of the cosmic microwave background radiation, with characteristic scale ∆ℓ ≈ 3 and amplitude A ≈ 0.05; 2) Aprimordial stochastic gravitational wave background with peak frequency in the10−9–10−8 Hz range. These predictions can be tested by next-generation observational experiments such as CMB-S4 and SKA-PTA, thereby transforming the”origin of time” from a philosophical speculation into a computable, simulatable, and falsifiable physical problem.

Informational Torsion and Discrete Closed Timelike Curves: A Formal Discrete-to-Quantum Derivation

Correnti, Andrea

This work introduces a new discrete framework that links the flow of information in weighted networks to emergent informational torsion and discrete closed timelike curves (CTCs). By connecting edge weights, dependent on mutual information, to Forman-Ricci curvature and defining persistent cycle circulations, we uncover self-sustained loops that act as discrete analogues of local causal reversals. Starting from multipartite quantum states represented as graphs, we show how specific entanglement patterns can generate effective geometric deformations. Promoting the model to a quantum formalism allows us to define curvature and circulation operators, giving a concrete way to study the quantum dynamics of these emergent structures. This framework provides a bridge between different areas of physics: quantum information theory, discrete geometry, and ideas of emergent gravity. It opens the door to exploring how entanglement and informational flows might shape causal structures, offering both conceptual insights and numerical tools that could inspire future developments in fundamental theory and quantum technologies.

Three-Dimensional Coulomb Discrete Spectrum via Symplectic Geometry and Phase-Space Constraints: A Geometric Framework for Condensed-Matter Coulomb-Like Systems

Gang Zheng, Peng Chen, Mengli Wang +2 more

Discrete energy-level structures in Coulomb-like localized bound states are conventionally obtained by direct diagonalization of the Schrödinger equation or by semiclassical approximations that fail at low energies. Here we develop a geometric phase-space framework that recovers the exact discrete energy levels and shell degeneracy of three-dimensional Coulomb bound states from classical symplectic geometry and global boundary constraints, bypassing explicit operator diagonalization. Using Kustaanheimo--Stiefel regularization, we map negative-energy Kepler orbits to four-dimensional isotropic harmonic oscillators. The group composition law of the symplectic flow determines an integral kernel built from the classical two-point action and Van Vleck amplitude, whose infinitesimal generator satisfies an exact linear evolution equation---a property we term \textit{quadratic closure}. Imposing three geometric constraints---decay at infinity, regularity at the origin, and fiber invariance under the Hopf fibration---we recover the exact $E_n/E_1=1/n^2$ scaling and $g_n=n^2$ degeneracy. The phase scale $α$ sets the action unit; all spectral structural features are independent of its value. This framework offers a symmetry-transparent route to spectral data: for quadratic Hamiltonians, the classical kernel incurs zero semiclassical error even at ground-state energies, and the geometric constraints directly identify symmetry-protected degeneracies without diagonalization. We apply the method to shallow impurity states, moiré superlattices, and semiclassical transport, demonstrating how geometric screening rules simplify spectral analysis in condensed-matter environments.

Quantum Mechanics as Real Geometry: Curvature, Torsion, and Holonomy

Kwon, Se Kyun

While the complex formalism of quantum mechanics has been extraordinarily successful, the fundamental geometric origin of its core elements—the imaginary unit, operator non-commutativity, quantum phase, and the intrinsic geometry with quantum spin—has remained unresolved for more than a century. Here we resolve these foundational questions by deriving an exact and physically equivalent formulation of the Schrödinger equation as a Real Geometric Flow—a moving-frame evolution on a 2𝑁-dimensional real state space. In this restored framework, the global imaginary unit 𝑖 fully decomposes into a set of local skew-symmetric generators that drive planar rotations in real space, revealing that the traditional complex formalism is a compressed representation of an intrinsic rotational geometry.Within the real geometric flow, energy eigenvalues appear as the Curvatures of the state trajectory, energy gaps correspond to Torsions that couple internal planes—naturally generating the geometry of quantum spin—and quantum phase emerges naturally as the Holonomy of the real moving frame. This formulation preserves the full empirical content of quantum mechanics while exposing the geometric mechanisms hidden beneath its notation, providing the first coherent explanation of curvature, torsion, non-commutativity, spin behavior, and quantum phase within a single framework.By demonstrating that the algebraic postulates of quantum mechanics arise from a deeper geometric order—one that stands alongside curvature-based theories such as General Relativity—this work establishes a unified differential-geometric foundation for quantum dynamics. It opens new directions for quantum control, quantum information, and fundamental physics.

Geometric Foundations of Stochastic and Quantum Dynamics

David V. Svintradze

We develop a geometric formulation of stochastic dynamics in which noise, diffusion, path probabilities, fluctuation theorems, and entropy production arise from the intrinsic geometry of an evolving manifold rather than from externally imposed randomness. Within the theory of moving manifolds, we establish a curvature-noise correspondence: fluctuations are governed by the inverse curvature tensor, while entropy production is controlled by curvature deformation. The invariant continuity law on a moving hypersurface yields a geometric Fokker-Planck equation, and curvature-velocity coupling generates a quadratic Onsager-Machlup functional determining path weights. The resulting entropy functional satisfies a curvature-driven monotonicity law, providing a geometric derivation of the Second Law. In two dimensions, the curvature invariant reduces to Gaussian curvature and encodes topology, so topological transitions produce discrete entropy jumps. When the ambient space carries a Minkowskian signature, the same curvature-kinetic quadratic form that generates dissipative thermal weights produces oscillatory phase weights, and the Laplace-Beltrami operator governing entropy evolution acquires a Schrödinger-type structure. This provides a geometric resolution of the apparent distinction between classical stochastic behaviour and quantum dynamics. These results show that stochastic behaviour, thermodynamic irreversibility, and quantum transition amplitudes are unified within the moving manifold framework. Geometry does not merely accommodate stochasticity; stochastic behaviour arises as a consequence of deterministic geometric evolution. The theory predicts curvature-controlled anisotropic diffusion, entropy jumps at topology-changing events, and a geometric thermal-quantum crossover in which classical stochastic weights and quantum amplitudes are generated by the same curvature-kinetic action.
