The Quantum Blueprint Formalism: An Informational Extension of Dissipative Quantum Field Theory in Living Systems

Abstract

We propose a generalization of the dissipative quantum field theory (DQFT) as developed by Celeghini, Rasetti, and Vitiello to describe the dynamic informational feedback underlying biological coherence. The new framework, termed the Quantum Blueprint Formalism (QBF), builds on the fact that in DQFT the conjugate field ψ̃ is an active dynamical partner of ψ, representing the time-reversed degrees of freedom that co-generate dissipation, irreversibility, and the selection of inequivalent vacuum states. Rather than functioning as a mere repository of past interactions, ψ̃ participates continuously in the system’s coherent evolution through SU(1,1) Bogoliubov mixing.QBF extends this structure by allowing the ψ–ψ̃ coupling to become explicitly state-dependent, thereby endowing the conjugate field with an informational role that reflects and influences the system’s ongoing coherence pattern. Correlation parameters Θ = {θₖ} quantify the instantaneous coherence relations between the two sectors and evolve in time according to a nonlinear stochastic differential equation derived from the dissipative field dynamics. This extended formalism provides quantitative links between informational coherence and physiological observables such as heart rate variability (HRV), EEG phase synchronization, water-domain ordering, and ultraweak photon emission. It thereby establishes a bridge between dissipative quantum physics, information theory, and experimental biophysics, offering a consistent mathematical and empirical basis for understanding life as an informationally guided, self-organizing process in which ψ and ψ̃ jointly sustain and regenerate coherence.

A Dissipative Quantum Field–Theoretic Derivation of Macroscopic Coherence Dynamics in Biological Systems

Marcus Schmieke

The Quantum Blueprint Formalism (QBF) proposes that the coherence of living systems arises from dissipative quantum field dynamics projected onto a finite-dimensional manifold of biologically meaningful order parameters Θ = (θ1, θ2, …, θ12). In this paper we derive, step by step, the macroscopic evolution equation for Θ(t) starting from the doubled Liouvillevon Neumann equation of dissipative quantum field theory (DQFT) in the sense of Umezawa and Vitiello (Umezawa, 1967; Takahashi & Umezawa, 1975; Celeghini, Rasetti, & Vitiello, 1992). We show how the doubled Hamiltonian H_total = H − H̃ acting on the tensor product state |Ψ> = |ψ> ⊗ |ψ̃> generates non-Hermitian dynamics, unitarily inequivalent vacua, and a geometrical manifold of coherent states parameterized by Θ. By applying a Mori–Zwanzigtype projection (Mori, 1965; Zwanzig, 1961) onto this manifold, we derive a generalized Langevin-like equation for θk(t) with a drift term, a dissipation term, memory kernels, and a noise term, and we identify the contribution of the conjugate sector ψ̃ as an informational recursion term. The order-parameter manifold is endowed with a metric g(k,l)(Θ) and a curvature scalar R(Θ), obtained from the vacuum overlap structure, which together define a dynamic vacuum geometry in which biological adaptation, stress, and self-restoring coherence can be interpreted as geometric flows. The final macroscopic dynamical law defines the core of QBF and provides a rigorous bridge between microscopic dissipative quantum dynamics and the emergent coherence behavior of living organisms.

The Information Field as Dissipative Tilde Sector: Electronic and Photonic Noise Processes as Interface to Dissipative Vacuum Structure A Foundation from Dissipative Quantum Field Theory and the Quantum Blueprint Formalism

Marcus Schmieke

The concept of an Information Field (IF) has been central to the TimeWaver system since its inception, but has lacked a rigorous theoretical foundation in established physics. This paper provides that foundation by identifying the IF with the tilde sector of dissipative quantum field theory (DQFT), as developed by Celeghini, Rasetti, and Vitiello (1992) and extended through the Quantum Blueprint Formalism (QBF; Schmieke, 2025a–2026ar). In DQFT, every open quantum system that maintains coherent order requires a doubling of degrees of freedom: the physical sector ℋ and the conjugate tilde sector ℋ̃. The tilde sector is not an optional add-on but a mathematical necessity that encodes dissipation, entropy flow, memory, and irreversibility. The QBF extends this framework by deriving the DQFT doubling from a deeper structure—the three-term Mother Equation on the pre-coherent possibility space Ms—and establishing that physical reality, consciousness, and self-consciousness each require their own tilde sector at distinct reflexion orders. Within this framework, electronic and photonic noise processes—specifically quantum random number generators (QRNGs) based on shot noise, photon detection, or vacuum fluctuations—are identified as sources of ontic stochasticity: irreducible quantum randomness that, in the QBF, constitutes the diffusion term of the Mother Equation. The paper formulates two testable hypotheses: (1) that such noise sources can serve as interfaces to the vacuum manifold MΘ under specific conditions; (2) that structured noise-mediated coupling biases probability flow on MΘ via stochastic resonance, providing a mechanism for harmonization. Numerical simulations illustrate the three-term dynamics, stochastic resonance on double-well landscapes, and the analysis/harmonization workflow. The epistemic status of each claim is explicitly stated: the DQFT doubling and QBF derivation chain are [Derived]; the identification of ℋ̃ with the IF is [Constrained Interpretation]; the noisecoupling mechanism for analysis and harmonization is [Hypothesis], grounded in QBF structure but not yet experimentally validated.

The Quantum Blueprint Formalism: A Comprehensive Review From Transcendental Conditions to Spacetime, Quantum Theory, the Standard Model, Biology, and Self-Conscious Agency

Marcus Schmieke

The Quantum Blueprint Formalism (QBF) is a unified theoretical framework that derives the fundamental structures of physics, biology, and consciousness from a single set of transcendental conditions governing coherent projection. Developed across twenty-eight peer-reviewed papers and two books, the QBF begins with the pre-coherent possibility space M_s and three admissibility conditions—local compatibility (A1), preserved Heisenberg structure (A2), and bounded compression (A3)—that are shown to be transcendentally necessary for any coherent structure to exist. From these conditions, a unique three-term Fokker–Planck equation (the Mother Equation) governs all dynamics. Projection from M_s to the coherence manifold M_Θ produces, in successive derivation steps: nonrelativistic quantum mechanics as the circulation-dominated limit; spacetime with 3+1 dimensions and Lorentzian signature; general relativity via the Gauss–Codazzi equations with Newton’s constant derived, not assumed; relativistic quantum field theory; and the gauge structure of the Standard Model. The formalism dissolves the black hole information paradox, identifies dark matter as projection residue, and establishes a landscape of possible physics. Beyond fundamental physics, the same canonical three-term structure governs biological coherence dynamics (the Equation of Life), consciousness (as epistemic nonequilibrium), and self-consciousness (as reflexive identity stabilization), yielding a mathematically exact Classification Theorem. This review presents the complete mathematical architecture of the QBF in a self-contained manner, tracing every derivation chain and classifying every result by its epistemic status: [Derived], [Constrained], [Conjectured], or [Assumed].

Computational Verification of the Quantum Blueprint Formalism at Biological Scale. Zenodo,

Marcus Schmieke

We present the first numerical verification of the Quantum Blueprint Formalism (QBF) at the biologically relevant scale of 12 Life Fields (K₁₂). Seven results are established computationally, each reproducing or extending a theoretical prediction from the QBF corpus. (1) The Hessian of the tension functional Φ is indefinite at pointer states: 2 negative eigenvalues at K₃ and 7 negative eigenvalues at K₁₂. The Hessian cannot serve as a Riemannian metric. (2) The Witten Laplacian produces positive spectral gaps (masses) despite the indefinite Hessian — the kinetic-stabilization mechanism of Paper 64 is confirmed numerically. (3) The projection π₀: ℝ³ → ℝ² is computed as an explicit 2×3 matrix; the induced metric is positive definite (Riemannian). (4) At K₁₂, the symplectic structure yields 5 conjugate pairs and 2 unpaired modes — the first numerical evidence for “mortality modes” that lack a regenerative partner. (5) The holonomy of the linearized dynamics is elliptic (Tr = 0.03), with all 12 modes oscillatory — the K₁₂ system is in a healthy (rotating, non-amplifying) dynamical regime. (6) The BCI feedback mechanism predicts recovery from perturbation 1.41× faster than passive Fokker-Planck relaxation. For cardiac coherence at 0.1 Hz: FEP recovery ≈ 8.3 s, QBF recovery ≈ 5.8 s, measurable difference ≈ 2.4 s. (7) The Bogoliubov vacuum structure predicts sub-Poissonian quadrature statistics (Mandel Q < 0) with a hierarchical squeezing pattern: strong squeezing in basal Life Fields (Foundation: 76 dB), moderate in intermediate fields (Vitality: 4.6 dB), and weak in integrative fields (Unity: 0.4 dB). Both predictions (6) and (7) distinguish the QBF from the Free Energy Principle and are testable with existing technology. All computations are parameter-free given the incompatibility matrix ω(i,j) and the diffusion coefficient Dₛ. The code is provided as supplementary material.

The Empirical Content of the Quantum Blueprint Formalism: A Systematic Inventory of Testable Predictions, Falsification Conditions, and Experimental Protocols

Marcus Schmieke

The Quantum Blueprint Formalism (QBF), developed across 27 papers and two books (Schmieke, 2025a–2026ab), derives quantum mechanics, quantum field theory, the Standard Model, general relativity, dark matter phenomenology, and a resolution of the black hole information paradox from a single dynamical equation—the Mother Equation—on a pre-coherent possibility space M_s, subject to three admissibility conditions (A1)–(A3) whose necessity is established by transcendental argument (Schmieke, 2026k). This paper consolidates, for the first time, all empirical predictions generated across the QBF corpus into a single systematic inventory. For each of 28 predictions, we specify: (i) the precise mathematical claim, (ii) the admissibility condition(s) from which it derives, (iii) the complete derivation chain with paper references, (iv) the epistemic status ([Derived], [Constrained], or [Conjectured]), (v) the experimental protocol, (vi) the current experimental status, (vii) the estimated timescale, and (viii) the falsification condition—identifying which axiom would be refuted. We organize the predictions into six sectors: quantum mechanics and measurement (6 predictions), spacetime and gravity (5), cosmology (4), particle physics (5), dark matter (5), and black holes (3). Of these, 6 are consistency checks (confirmed by existing data), 2 are testable with current technology within 1–3 years (GHZ decoherence saturation, channel trade-off), 5 within 5–10 years, and the remainder require longer-term experimental advances. We construct a falsification map connecting each prediction to the specific axiom it tests and a prediction landscape plotting discriminating power against experimental timescale. We compare the QBF’s foundational approach with string theory, loop quantum gravity, and asymptotic safety, and discuss existing decoherence frameworks (environmental decoherence, quantum Darwinism, objective collapse models) and their relation to the QBF’s two-regime structure.
