Stochastic Field Modulation: Theoretical Foundations & Extended Dynamics (SFM-TFED)

Andrew Ryan

Published Dec 11, 2025• 0 citations
OpenAlex

Abstract

SFM-TFED builds upon the analytical structure defined in SFM-FS, providing the conceptual and dynamical framework used to interpret observed features in multi-device QRNG data. It examines spatial receptivity, relaxation asymmetry, temporal onset signatures, multi-device coherence, and configuration-sensitive deviations. The document remains mechanism-neutral while organising empirical regularities into a coherent interpretive model.

Stochastic Field Modulation (SFM) – Core Framework

Andrew Ryan

This project hosts the core research documents defining the Stochastic Field Modulation (SFM) framework: a mechanism-neutral, empirically grounded method for analysing structured deviations in multi-device quantum randomness under modulated internal states. The SFM framework has evolved from over a year of continuous experimentation using high-rate QRNG devices, environmental controls, EEG monitoring, and multi-stage signal analysis. Purpose of This Project This OSF project serves as the canonical home for the formal, citable SFM documents: SFM–FS (Formal Specification) — the operational, linearised measurement model describing how deviations are quantified, standardised, segmented, and statistically validated. SFM–TFED (Theoretical Foundations & Extended Dynamics) — the conceptual layer interpreting empirical features such as asymmetric temporal profiles, anticipatory structure, spatial receptivity, multi-device synchrony, and nonlinear relaxation behaviour. (Future) SFM–PT (Philosophical Theory) — broad interpretive considerations consistent with FS and TFED. These documents supersede earlier drafts and working notes, which now exist only as archival material in legacy OSF projects. What This Project Contains DOI-assigned citable versions of the SFM documents Versioned LaTeX source and PDF outputs Component-level documentation and wikis Cross-references between FS, TFED, and future PT layers Links to legacy experimental projects without importing their data or metadata What This Project Does Not Contain Raw QRNG bitstreams Individual session analyses Experimental QS reports EEG datasets Environmental logs These remain in their original projects for now and may be cross-linked later. Stochastic Field Modulation Formal Structure (SFM-FS)

Andrew Ryan

The SFM-FS document defines the operational and analytical foundation of the Stochastic Field Modulation research programme. It provides the mathematical specification for analysing QRNG data, including baseline fingerprinting, deviation envelopes, amplitude budgets, lag-compensated synchrony metrics, noise modelling, and detection thresholds. SFM-FS establishes the standards and reproducible workflows used throughout the SFM-TFED and SFM-PT companion documents

Stochastic Field Modulation Philosophical & Theoretical Framework (SFM-PT)

Andrew Ryan

SFM-PT develops the philosophical and theoretical positioning of the SFM research architecture. It introduces configuration as the central organising concept for interpreting structured deviations in QRNG systems, incorporating operator-present, operator-free, contextual, and environmental configurations. SFM-PT proposes the domain of configuration-sensitive stochastic systems and analyses epistemic, methodological, and ontological implications of multi-device triangulated deviations.

Structured Light Dynamics and Indivisible Coherence: Empirical Field Observations and Comparative Ontologies of Emergence

Susan Delaney

This working paper examines epistemological and ontological parallels between Jacob Barandes’s formulation of indivisible stochastic actualization in quantum foundations and Susan Delaney’s research on Structured Light Phenomena (SLP) and Structured Light Dynamics (SLD). Barandes’s framework describes quantum actualization within a single, non-branching world, where stochasticity is intrinsic rather than a consequence of incomplete knowledge. Correspondingly, empirical SLP field observations conducted outdoors in natural environments document coherent photonic formations characterized by radial symmetry, harmonic organization, and reproducible spatiotemporal structure. SLD provides the theoretical and interpretive framework through which these phenomena are investigated as resonance-restricted processes in which field conditions constrain the emergence of structured outcomes. The comparative analysis examines conceptual correspondences involving stochastic actualization, non-Markovian dynamics, coherence, empirical fidelity, observational realism, resonance, and the methodological principle of “listening to Nature.” It distinguishes Barandes’s indivisible stochastic framework from SLD’s proposed extensions into field resonance, symbolic structuring, and participatory observation while identifying areas of conceptual convergence. Taken together, these perspectives suggest a possible single-world ontology in which stochastic actualization and resonance-mediated coherence operate as complementary modes of physical emergence. SLD further explores the hypothesis that structured photonic geometries may encode information through form, geometry, and resonance.
