Resonant Relativity: A Unified Framework for General Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, and Intent through Information and Resonance Fields

Abstract

Resonant Relativity (RRT) proposes a unifying perspective on the long-standing tension between General Relativity (GR) and Quantum Mechanics (QM)—namely, the conflict between a geometry that requires no observer and a probabilistic world that cannot exist without one. This work starts from a single organizing principle: Reality=Intent×Information×Resonance.\text{Reality} = \text{Intent} \times \text{Information} \times \text{Resonance}.Reality=Intent×Information×Resonance. The three components—Intent (I), Information (S), and Resonance (R)—are elevated to independent dynamical fields. Together with spacetime geometry gμνg_{\mu\nu}gμν, matter fields ψ\psiψ, information density SSS, intent field III, and resonance field RRR, they form a single variational action from which both GR and QM appear as opposite limiting regimes. Key Contributions GR emerges naturally in the regime where information dominates and intent is suppressed. QM arises in the regime of dominant intent and low-information density, producing probabilistic structure. Both the Schrödinger equation and Einstein field equations arise as boundary cases of the same higher action. The resonance field RRR provides a mechanism for coherence across microscopic and macroscopic scales. Concepts such as “measurement,” “choice,” and “observer effect” are redefined not as philosophical add-ons but as physical variables inherent to the theory. Position Within the Broader Research Program This paper serves as the entry point to the unified field component of the RFC/ERA/RUFT/Resonant Ontology project. It integrates insights from over a hundred theoretical papers and extensive computational experiments, offering the first consolidated physical formulation of the “breathing–resonance ontology” developed across the series. Waveband Ontology: A Unified Structural Map Bridging General Relativity and Quantum Reality

Fernandes, Ricardo Miguel Machado

This work presents a structural ontology intended to clarify how core concepts from general relativity, quantum theory, thermodynamics, and information theory may be discussed within a single, consistent descriptive framework. The document does not propose new physical laws or claim experimental validation. Instead, it aims to organize existing physical concepts around a minimal set of constraints, expressed through a three mode perspective referred to as GR, QR, and a waveband based representation. The waveband perspective is introduced as an interpretive layer rather than a competing theory. It is used to track coherence, constraint, and accessibility across physical regimes, from spacetime geometry and quantum measurement to entropy production and record formation. The emphasis is on conceptual continuity and structural consistency, not on replacing established formalisms. This document is intended as a foundation for discussion, critique, and future refinement. It remains compatible with standard physics and does not depend on the correctness of any specific model. Related frameworks developed previously by the author, including Resonant Coherence Field Theory and associated works, are referenced as prior exploratory material rather than as required assumptions. The author offers this work as an open preprint in the spirit of transparency and collaboration, with the expectation that some elements may be revised, clarified, or rejected as further analysis and feedback are obtained.

Unification of Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity from the Stability of Matter

Pushpendra Singh

The persistent challenge of unifying quantum mechanics with general relativity is often traced to a series of apparent structural tensions: complex versus real ontology, probabilistic versus deterministic dynamics, linear versus nonlinear evolution, and spectral discreteness versus geometric continuity. We argue that these tensions do not signal a fundamental incompatibility between the theories, but rather originate from surplus structure in the conventional formulation of quantum mechanics. Beginning from the physically indispensable requirement of matter stability, we prove that the Hamiltonian spectrum can always be shifted to become non-negative. The consequent positivity of energy enforces one-sided temporal frequency support for all physical states, selecting the Hardy space of analytic signals as the admissible solution space. In this space, the real and imaginary parts of the wave function are not independent; they are linked uniquely via the temporal Hilbert transform. Hence, the complex structure of quantum mechanics emerges as a representational artifact of an underlying real operator algebra. Building on our earlier work on Unified Quantum Mechanics and the Unified Real Wave Equation, we establish a rigorous proof of exact equivalence between the real-field evolution and the Schrödinger equation on the physical subspace. Probabilistic quantities arise naturally as quadratic invariants of analytic signals, rather than as independent postulates. The resulting framework provides a realfield formulation of quantum mechanics and gravitation, with stability and causality implemented as foundational principles, and demonstrates that the Einstein field equations are compatible with a unified field-theoretic description of spacetime and matter. Extending the same analyticity principle to spacetime geometry, we propose an analytic formulation of the Einstein field equations, from which classical general relativity is recovered exactly as the real projection.

Information Geometry Unification Principle Axioms, Core Action and Unified Field Equations

Y. Li

We present a fundamental unified framework based on information geometry, in which quantum mechanics, statistical thermodynamics, and general relativity emerge from a single information-theoretic ontology. Starting from three rigorous axioms that establish quantum information as the primary physical substrate, we construct the universal information action functional using the Bures–Fisher–Rao metric on the manifold of quantum density matrices. Full variational derivation yields a unified field equation that governs the evolution of quantum information and emergent spacetime geometry. In appropriate limiting regimes, we recover the Schrödinger equation, equilibrium statistical mechanics, and the Einstein field equations. This work provides the foundational layer of a complete theory of everything based on the principle: geometry is information.

The term unification is used in a structural sense, referring to compatibility of quantum dynamics with classical field theory rather than a modification of general relativity. Beginning from the physically indispensable requirement of matter stability, we prove that the Hamiltonian spectrum can always be shifted to become non-negative. The consequent positivity of energy enforces one-sided temporal frequency support for all physical unitary orbits. Equivalently, all scalar temporal components of physical states arise as boundary values of functions analytic in the lower half of the complex time plane, selecting the Hardy space—or, more generally, analytic tempered distributions—as the admissible solution space. In these spaces, the real and imaginary parts of the wave function are not independent; they are linked uniquely via the temporal Hilbert transform. Hence, the complex structure of quantum mechanics emerges as a representational artifact of an underlying real operator algebra. Building on our earlier work on Unified Quantum Mechanics and the Unified Real Wave Equation, we establish a rigorous proof of exact equivalence between the real-field evolution and the Schr\"odinger equation on the physical subspace. Probabilistic quantities arise naturally as quadratic invariants of analytic signals, rather than as independent postulates. We further show that quantum spectral discreteness arises from operator-theoretic confinement and boundary conditions on a smooth spacetime manifold, and does not imply any fundamental discreteness of spacetime. The resulting framework provides a real-field formulation of quantum mechanics and gravitation, with stability and causality implemented as foundational principles, and demonstrates that the Einstein field equations are compatible with a unified field-theoretic description of spacetime and matter. Extending the same analyticity principle to spacetime geometry, we propose an analytic formulation of the Einstein field equations, from which classical general relativity is recovered exactly as the real projection.

Manifesto for an Informational Observer-Centered Framework Toward a Unified Theory of Information, Observation, and Reality

Giuseppe Junior Greco

Modern physics has achieved extraordinary predictive success, yet it continues to face unresolved conceptual tensions concerning the role of the observer, the nature of information, and the origin of physical structure. From quantum measurement to cosmology, the assumption of an observer-neutral reality increasingly appears insufficient to fully account for empirical phenomena and theoretical inconsistencies. This manifesto proposes an Informational Observer-Centered Framework, in which information is treated as a fundamental ontological substrate and observation as an active, structured process rather than a passive act of measurement. Within this perspective, physical systems, observers, and informational exchanges form a unified dynamics, where state reduction, decoherence, and emergent classicality arise from informational interactions and constraints. Rather than introducing a new closed theory, this manifesto establishes a conceptual foundation unifying several complementary models—including Informational State Dynamics, observer-dependent informational compression, and informational interpretations of quantum and cosmological phenomena—into a coherent research program. The framework is explicitly non-dogmatic, open to falsification, and intended as a guiding structure for further theoretical development and empirical testing. The aim of this document is not to replace existing physical theories, but to clarify their conceptual boundaries and propose an integrative lens through which unresolved problems in quantum foundations, cosmology, and cognitive systems may be systematically explored.

A Unified Framework for Relativity and Quantum Mechanics via Delayed Realization

Trinity Labo

This work presents a unified theoretical framework that aims to bridge relativity and quantum mechanics through a single structural principle: delayed realization. Instead of assuming spacetime, time evolution, or quantum states as primitive entities, the framework introduces a pre-geometric definability network in which relational differences are initially undefined and become stabilized through nonlinear dynamics. The emergence of spacetime is then reinterpreted as the stabilization of definable differences, while the present is not given a priori but selected via delayed consistency over histories. Within this formulation, quantum phenomena arise naturally when multiple realization candidates coexist, producing interference structures governed by a variational principle. In the low-defect limit, the framework recovers effective relativistic geometry and field-theoretic behavior, including emergent gravitational curvature and gauge structures. A central contribution of this work is the formulation of a unified definability action, combining stabilization, curvature minimization, delayed consistency, and informational structure into a single variational framework. Under appropriate coarse-graining, this action yields structures consistent with Einstein field equations, quantum amplitudes, and gauge invariance as different regimes of the same underlying mechanism. This paper does not claim a fully closed mathematical unification of all physical sectors. Instead, it provides a coherent structural framework in which spacetime emergence, present realization, quantum probability, and effective field dynamics are organized as manifestations of a single principle. The framework is intended as a foundational step toward a deeper unification of physics, where time, geometry, and probability are not assumed, but emerge from the stabilization and realization of definable relational structures.
