Abstract

This component contains the full narrative draft and research materials for the article The Machine That Turns Noise Into Thought, part of The Age of Light: Mobile A.I.™ Revolution — Quantum-Photonic Computing Beyond Datacenters. The piece investigates NEUJAX’s Q-Tonic Core — a processor that computes using noise rather than fighting it — within the emerging fields of photonic and probabilistic computing.

The Age of Light: Mobile A.I.™ Revolution — Quantum-Photonic Computing Beyond Datacenters

Jackson Hamiter

This registration documents the PhotoniQ Lab whitepaper “The Age of Light: Mobile A.I.™ Revolution,” which introduces a post-electron computational paradigm. The work presents Q-Tonic Processing, a quantum-photonic computation architecture paired with Applied Autonomous Energy (AAE), a self-harvesting power framework enabling autonomous, datacenter-free intelligence. The research explores the transition from electron-bound compute systems—with their immense power, water, and carbon demands—to photon-driven architectures that operate sustainably in any environment, from terrestrial disaster zones to orbital satellites. The Q-Tonic Core uses quantum-stabilized light-based computation and the Qentropy algorithm to achieve ≈ 1 TFLOP equivalent on-device performance while maintaining coherence and near-zero thermal loss. Anticipated outcomes include: Validation of a datacenter-free AI architecture with carbon-neutral operation. Deployment pathways for defense, aerospace, and enterprise edge-intelligence systems. An engineering roadmap demonstrating feasibility for scalable manufacturing. This research contributes to the PhotoniQ Labs' theoretical framework of Jaxian Dynamics, advancing the physics and energy principles underlying quantum-photonic computation.

AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE TRANSFORMATIVE POWER OF QUANTUM COMPUTING IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

Dr. Arven L. Thaylen, Dr. Senira D. Valtome

We are on the verge of a new era in computation, one that operates on the strange and wonderful rules of the quantum world. This article explores the story of quantum computing, a technology that promises to solve problems far beyond the reach of today's fastest supercomputers. We'll journey from the core ideas that make it all possible—concepts like superposition and entanglement—to the incredible machines being built in labs around the world. We'll see how these machines are being programmed and witness the first hints of their power in fields like medicine, materials science, and cybersecurity. Finally, we'll take an honest look at the immense challenges that still lie ahead on the path to building a truly powerful quantum computer. This is a story of human ingenuity pushing the boundaries of science, a tale of the immense potential and practical hurdles of the coming quantum age.

Mapping the Narratives of Quantum Computing in IS: A Literature Review

Descazeaux, Ignacio

Quantum computing has been widely presented as a future computational revolution, yet its implications for the field of information systems (IS) remain underexplored. While technical research dominates current discourse, IS scholars are only beginning to engage with the social, organizational, and managerial dimensions of this emerging technology. This study asks: What are the narratives of quantum computing present in the IS literature? Using a narrative literature review approach, I analyze 96 articles from leading IS journals and conferences. The analysis identifies 11 distinct narratives and synthesizes them into six aggregated dimensions, which together reveal how IS research is beginning to frame quantum computing. These findings contribute to clarifying the conceptual landscape, surface early theoretical tensions, and propose a research agenda for future IS inquiry into quantum technologies. This study supports IS scholars in engaging more meaningfully with quantum computing, even before its full commercial deployment.
