Abstract

In this article, we exploit the different notions of quantumness measure to understand the properties of the Heisenberg XY model with and without PT-symmetric operation. In the absence of PT-symmetry, we study the significance of different measures, namely entanglement and measurement-induced nonlocality (MIN), in the detection of the quantumness of the Heisenberg XY model. It is observed that the quantum correlations and teleportation fidelity monotonically decreases with respect to temperature. Furthermore, the intervention of PT-symmetric operation enhances the strengths of quantum correlation. In addition, we highlight the role of the system’s parameters and PT-symmetric operation on the teleportation of a quantum state. Our results also emphasize that after the addition of PT-symmetric operation, the considered physical model remains a versatile resource to achieve successful teleportation of the quantum state.

Effect of parity-time symmetric operator on quantum teleportation under the non-Markovian environment

Fei Chen, Yang Leng

Abstract We investigate the effect of local parity-time ( PT ) symmetric operation on quantum teleportation in non-Markovian environments, focusing on resonant and off-resonant regimes. An exactly solvable two-qubit model with independent structured reservoirs is built to derive the average teleportation fidelity. We show that the PT symmetric operation lead to oscillatory fidelity decay with local revivals instead of monotonic decay, and optimally PT symmetric operation can stably keep the average fidelity above the classical 2/3 limit even in off-resonant non-Markovian regimes, effectively protecting the quantum advantage of teleportation.

Measurement-induced nonlocality in the two-qubit Heisenberg XY model

Chen Wen-xue, Yu-Xia Xie, Xiao-Qiang Xi

Quantum correlations are essential for quantum information processing (QIP). Measurement-induced nonlocality (MIN) is a good measure of quantum correlation, and is favored for its conceptual implication and potential application. We investigated here the particular behaviors of the geometric and entropic measures of MIN in the two-qubit Heisenberg XY model and revealed the effects of anisotropic parameter γ and the external magnetic field B on them. Our results showed that both γ and B can serve as efficient controlling parameters for tuning MIN in the XY model.

The pairwise quantum correlations for teleported state via a symmetric multi-qubit system

Sodeif Ahadpour, And F. Mirmasoudi

We study the pairwise quantum correlations for teleported state via a symmetric multi-qubitsystem. In the other words, the proposed model is considered as a quantum channel. Using thequantum discord, super quantum discord and concurrence to quantify quantum correlations forteleported state, some analytical and numerical results are presented. Moreover, we compare thedynamical evolutions of quantum correlations and fidelity versus measurement strength and thenumber of qubit channel for teleported state via symmetric multi-qubit model. Our main goalnow is to study how we can increase the quantum correlations and the fidelity of the teleportedstate in the presence of decoherence. The results show that, measurement strength and thenumber of qubit can control the quantum information obtained through the quantum channel. Therefore, measurement strength can be a good option for measuring exchanged information inthe teleportation process. In addition to, quantum correlations can provide an effective role inquantum teleportation

Quantum teleportation, entanglement, and Bell nonlocality in correlated noisy channels

Zhan-Yun Wang, Zhi-Yong Qin

Abstract We investigate how the correlations between consecutive actions of the two-qubit noisy channels affect quantum teleportation, entanglement, and Bell nonlocality. For the initial Bell and Werner states used for teleportation, we established connections among these three quantities, and obtained the minimum correlation strengths for achieving the nonclassical teleportation fidelity, nonvanishing entanglement, and Bell-nonlocal states. It was found that these three quantities can be noticeably enhanced due to the existence of the channel correlations. By considering a colored dephasing channel, we further investigated the combined effects of the channel correlation and the (non-)Markovianity of the channel on the teleportation fidelity, entanglement, and Bell nonlocality. The result shows that while they decrease monotonically with time in the Markovian regime, their strengths can be further enhanced due to the non-Markovian memory effect in a wide time region.

Operational advantages provided by nonclassical teleportation

Patryk Lipka-Bartosik, Paul Skrzypczyk

The standard benchmark for teleportation is the average fidelity of teleportation and according to this benchmark not all states are useful for teleportation. It was recently shown, however, that all entangled states lead to nonclassical teleportation, with there being no classical scheme able to reproduce the states teleported to Bob.Here we study the operational significance of this result. On the one hand, we demonstrate that every state is useful for teleportation if a generalization of the average fidelity of teleportation is considered which concerns teleporting quantum correlations. On the other hand, we show the strength of a particular entangled state and entangled measurement for teleportation-as quantified by the robustness of teleportation-precisely characterizes their ability to offer an advantage in the task of subchannel discrimination with side information. This connection allows us to prove that every entangled state outperforms all separable states when acting as a quantum memory in this discrimination task. Finally, within the context of a resource theory of teleportation, we show that the two operational tasks considered provide complete sets of monotones for two partial orders based on the notion of teleportation simulation, one classical and one quantum.
