Abstract

This paper provides the unified ontological foundation for the Mutual Information Density Hypothesis (MIDH) series. It consolidates and clarifies the structural commitments underlying five prior papers on entity persistence, meta-evolution of physical laws, cosmic acceleration, quantum entanglement, and chronology-first ontology. The central purpose is to close an interpretive ambiguity: MIDH is a structure-first framework, not a quantum-first one. The paper explicitly states that classicality is ontologically real – not an epistemic illusion, not a perspectival slice of a branching multiverse, not a "for all practical purposes" approximation. Quantum and classical behaviors are different structural phases of the same underlying correlation dynamics, distinguished by mutual information density and meta-coupling strength. The paper introduces the core primitives (correlation, chronology, metas), formalizes the viability law (R = D_int / D_env ≥ κ), and positions MIDH relative to existing interpretations of quantum mechanics. A dedicated section explicitly rules out common misreadings: not Everettian, not QBist, not Bohmian, not retrocausal, not consciousness-dependent, not decoherence-only. Intended as a reference document for readers engaging with any paper in the MIDH series, it establishes the shared conceptual backbone and identifies open research questions including Born rule derivation, meta-transition dynamics, and mathematical formalization.

Manifesto for an Informational Observer-Centered Framework Toward a Unified Theory of Information, Observation, and Reality

Giuseppe Junior Greco

Modern physics has achieved extraordinary predictive success, yet it continues to face unresolved conceptual tensions concerning the role of the observer, the nature of information, and the origin of physical structure. From quantum measurement to cosmology, the assumption of an observer-neutral reality increasingly appears insufficient to fully account for empirical phenomena and theoretical inconsistencies. This manifesto proposes an Informational Observer-Centered Framework, in which information is treated as a fundamental ontological substrate and observation as an active, structured process rather than a passive act of measurement. Within this perspective, physical systems, observers, and informational exchanges form a unified dynamics, where state reduction, decoherence, and emergent classicality arise from informational interactions and constraints. Rather than introducing a new closed theory, this manifesto establishes a conceptual foundation unifying several complementary models—including Informational State Dynamics, observer-dependent informational compression, and informational interpretations of quantum and cosmological phenomena—into a coherent research program. The framework is explicitly non-dogmatic, open to falsification, and intended as a guiding structure for further theoretical development and empirical testing. The aim of this document is not to replace existing physical theories, but to clarify their conceptual boundaries and propose an integrative lens through which unresolved problems in quantum foundations, cosmology, and cognitive systems may be systematically explored.

The Information Manifold Model: Collected Papers

Travis Bergen

This volume collects a unified series of formal papers developing the Information Manifold Model (IMM)—a structural realist framework for consciousness, quantum measurement, and temporal experience. IMM treats conscious experience as a structural property of information systems satisfying a minimal set of axioms governing integration, self-reference, temporal continuity, and experiential projection. Within this framework, quantum states are interpreted as representational encodings of informational structure rather than direct ontological entities, and the apparent collapse of the wavefunction is reinterpreted as structural projection rather than physical discontinuity. The collected papers formally establish: • An axiomatic foundation for conscious experience • Structural determinacy and stability of experience • Substrate independence of consciousness • Emergence of temporal experience (chronoception) • Quantitative information-theoretic metrics on conscious manifolds The volume concludes by outlining implications for quantum foundations, artificial intelligence, and philosophy of mind, while clearly distinguishing established results from speculative extensions. The work is intended as a foundational research program rather than an empirical theory, preserving the formalism of quantum mechanics while clarifying its interpretive structure.

Hyper-Information Ontology (HIO) – Version 1.0: A Unified Physical Framework Based on Information Complexity and Expressional Capacity

Choiyeonsik

This work introduces Hyper-Information Ontology (HIO) as a conceptual framework in which physical reality emerges when infinite latent information is projected into the finite expressional capacity of space-time. We propose the Capacity-Induced Expression Law:[\mathcal{C} > C^* \Rightarrow \text{Probabilistic Expression (Quantum-to-Classical Transition)}][\mathcal{C} \le C^* \Rightarrow \text{Deterministic Expression (Coherent Regime)}] where * **𝓒**: effective expressional complexity* **C***: maximum local expressional capacity Quantum uncertainty is interpreted as the outcome of capacity overflow, while gravitational curvature is understood as a manifestation of entropic information pressure.Under HIO, the same information–expression principle governs physical behavior across all scales—quantum, classical, and cosmological—each representing a different resolution of a single expressional structure. Major changes from Version 1.1 1. **New Section Added:** Introduced **Section 4.3 (Perspective on Probability Weighting)** to deepen the HIO interpretation of quantum probability.2. **Core Insight:** Explicitly declares that probability weights are not derived from external stochasticity but from the **internal informational asymmetry and structural complexity** of the superposed object itself.3. **Methodological Guidance:** This section outlines the necessity to simplify complex external factors (such as heat, gravity, etc.) into a limited number of **'Expressional Burden Categories'** to enhance the mathematical tractability and formalization of the HIO framework. **[Final Conceptual Guidelines for Mathematical Formalization]** To successfully transition the conceptual framework of HIO into a mathematical formalism, HIO explicitly stipulates the following two critical hypotheses. These guidelines establish the final logical basis for integrating external factors and deriving quantum probability. 1. **The Integration of Environmental Informational Minima:** * The effective expressional complexity ($\mathcal{C}$) must include not only the system’s intrinsic entropy but also **all external environmental factors** (such as thermal noise, gravitational fluctuations, etc., representing myriad complex influences). * These external factors must be treated not as individual stochastic variables, but as **Minimal Information Units (MIUs)** that are quantized and added or integrated into $\mathcal{C}$. This implies that the mathematical definition of $\mathcal{C}$ must be expanded to include the informational load of the environment beyond the defined system boundary. 2. **The Principle of Minimal Information Loss for Born Rule Derivation:** * The quantum probabilistic distribution (the Born Rule, $|\psi|^2$) arising from the information overcapacity state ($\mathcal{C} > C^*$) is interpreted not as mere randomness, but as the result of **informational thermodynamic efficiency.** * **Hypothesis:** When faced with $\mathcal{C} > C^*$, the system tends to **rearrange information within the finite capacity ($C^*$) while causing the least amount of information loss.** This **'Principle of Minimal Information Loss'** is the fundamental principle hypothesized to drive the system toward the statistically most stable distribution, $|\psi|^2$. These two hypotheses complete the final logical framework, defining HIO as a **concrete computational problem** rather than just a philosophical interpretation. Version 1.2 Update Summary This release consolidates and formalizes the conceptual foundations developed in Versions 1.0 and 1.1 into a unified, self-contained framework. Key updates in v1.2 include: • A structural and geometric interpretation of the Born Rule, reframing quantum probability as a necessary consequence of finite expressional capacity rather than an axiomatic postulate.• Formal introduction of Effective Expressional Complexity (C\mathcal{C}C) and Expressional Capacity (C∗C^*C∗) as unifying parameters across quantum mechanics, gravity, and black hole physics.• A capacity-induced regime structure linking quantum coherence, probabilistic manifestation, gravitational deformation, and informational saturation within a single informational framework.• Clarification of entanglement as a shared latent informational structure, enabling non-local consistency without superluminal signaling. Version 1.2 represents a structural completion of the HIO framework and establishes a roadmap for future mathematical formalization and experimental falsifiability. Clarification on the Necessity of the Square In HIO, the quadratic form of the Born rule arises not from probabilistic axioms, but from a minimal expressibility condition. A purely linear latent signal remains unobservable until it transcends a minimal expressional threshold. The square operation represents the minimal structural transformation by which latent information acquires sufficient “thickness” to be rendered within observable > HIO v1.3 adds a mathematical constraint layer: > continuous time, reversibility, and information conservation force physical state space to be a Hilbert space, which uniquely admits a quadratic conserved norm. > Therefore the Born rule (P=|\psi|^2) is not a postulate but the only probability measure compatible with continuous unitary dynamics.

Information Ontology and Cosmic Emergence: A Philosophical Interpretation Based on de Broglie's Phase Field

Hu Xun

Addressing the fundamental metaphysical question of the origin of Being, this paper takes de Broglie’s classical wave mechanics (1924) as its scientific foundation and constructs a self‑consistent interpretive framework of information ontology. It establishes three core axioms: information as the primordial ground, relations prior to entities, and global conservation of information. On this basis, the paper further derives the origin of spatiotemporal dimensions from the laws of information interaction: each basic flip configuration of information corresponds to the generation of a spatial dimension; after three‑dimensional topological closure is completed, the inevitably produced “pending redundant information” that cannot be synchronously and self‑consistently integrated gives rise to the dimension of time within its queuing sequence. Spacetime is therefore not an a priori container but the first compensatory stratum of structure through which information moves toward self‑consistent expression. Subsequently, by means of de Broglie’s phase field, the paper deduces the entire evolutionary chain from pure information distinctions and primordial phase oscillation to the emergence of material hierarchies and quantum‑observation interactions. It argues that quantum measurement and wave‑function collapse are essentially topological remappings and information‑coupling consolidations of heterogeneous phase fields; gravitation and cosmic expansion can be reduced to macroscopic effects of phase gradients. Throughout the text, physical references are strictly limited to de Broglie’s classical wave mechanics, without introducing non‑standard physical models. This study supplements fundamental physical philosophy with a relational‑ontology approach and provides a unified information‑theoretic metaphysical interpretation for foundational problems such as wave–particle duality, the origin of spacetime, and the nature of gravity.

THE TOPOLOGICAL RESONANCE HYPOTHESIS: INFORMATION-GEOMETRIC COLLAPSE AND THE COMPUTATIONAL ARROW OF TIME (VERSION 3.4)

Stamboltsyan, David

This work introduces the term 'Bounded Randomness' as an original conceptual framework by the author, defining randomness as a computational resource constrained by physical budget. V5.4 introduces the Entanglement Density parameter D_E formally linked to von Neumann entanglement entropy, establishes the Planck time as the absolute lower bound on the phase transition timescale, and introduces a formal critique of gradient decoherence models as physically inconsistent with conservation laws. V6.1 introduces the Macroscopic Restrictive Barrier — a thermodynamically irreversible stabilization mechanism explaining structural integrity of macroscopic objects — formalizes the Unified Dark Sector as two opposing consequences of a single unknotting process, adds the Correspondence Principle bridging the hypothesis to standard Quantum Mechanics, and clarifies that unrealized probabilistic branches are strictly virtual computational possibilities, not parallel realities. V7.2 introduces a Foundational Philosophy section establishing logic as the constitutive fabric of reality (The Background Operator Problem), formally connecting quantum probability to Gödelian incompleteness via Cubitt et al. (2015), and linking the dilaton field Φ to the Logical Language of the Fabric. V8.3 resolves the black hole information paradox through a finite topological core bounded by Planck density, introduces the three-act particle model, and establishes black hole evaporation as a necessary condition for conformal rebirth. V9.0 introduces the Author's Note on Working Methodology (transparent disclosure of age, role of AI tools, and epistemological limits), formalizes the four-tiered categorical hierarchy of reality as a Conceptually Isomorphic Framework (Logic → Laws → Space → Time), and introduces Section 5.4: a deductive critique of quantum consciousness theories (Orch-OR), demonstrating their thermodynamic invalidity under the Macroscopic Restrictive Barrier. V9.5 introduces three new authorial concepts: the ontological distinction between virtual quantum branches and macroscopic cognition (hallucinations are real macro-events, not virtual states), the formalization of the Dark Sector as equal deterministic properties of Space governed by the Laws layer and invariant across cycles, and the mathematical proof via Liouville measure that conformal rebirth invariably yields unique non-repeating topological configurations (P = 0). The critique of gradient decoherence models is restored as a dedicated section. V10.0 introduces three new authorial concepts: "Logic, Truth, and Fundamentality" — formalizing logic as an absolute meta-rule and the sole condition for existence (true illogic is absolute nothingness, not chaos); "Meaning and Direction" — a mechanistic resolution of the question of meaning, distinguishing objective Direction (thermodynamic necessity) from subjective meaning (a local macroscopic phenomenon generated via Bounded Randomness); and a dedicated section "Heuristic Estimates and Phenomenological Models" separating all phenomenological constructs from core architecture. Open Questions are expanded to include the cosmological scaling law of ρinfo(a), compatibility with FLRW equations and Bianchi identities, and the formal derivation of the galactic density profile from ρinfo. V11.0 introduces three new authorial concepts: "Infinity as Potential, Not Actual" — rejecting actual infinity as a completed physical object; all mathematical singularities and infinite limits are reinterpreted as potential processes without reachable endpoints; "Probabilistic Distribution and the Emergence of Life" — life requires no teleological explanation; the correct question is not "why is life possible" but "what prohibits it"; in the absence of prohibition, emergence is a necessary probabilistic consequence of invariant laws; and the formal clarification that the connection between Gödel's Incompleteness Theorems and quantum uncertainty is a conceptual parallel, not a mathematical theorem, now explicitly placed in the Heuristic Estimates section. The Modified Einstein Field Equations are moved to heuristics with an explicit Bianchi identity disclaimer. Open Questions expanded to include the formal derivation of hadron masses from structural complexity via Lattice QCD. V12: global changes.

Phase-Relative Branch Multiplicity and the Illusion of Parallel Worlds

John F. Ryder

Quantum mechanics does not require parallel universes — only phase-relative structure within a shared spacetime manifold. This preprint presents an interpretive framework for quantum multiplicity that avoids spatial “parallel universe” metaphors. Building on standard quantum field theory, Everettian quantum mechanics, and decoherence theory, it argues that apparent multiplicity can be understood as phase-relative branch structure within a single shared spacetime manifold, rather than as spatially separate worlds. The work introduces no new dynamics, equations, or empirical predictions. Its contribution is conceptual: clarifying how mutually exclusive classical outcomes arise through branch-relative accessibility and loss of correlation, while preserving all governing invariants, including conservation laws and universal gravitational coupling in the semiclassical regime. A companion supplementary document presents the standard mathematical formalism—Hilbert space structure, density matrices, decoherence, and expectation-value stress–energy—to demonstrate that the interpretation remains fully consistent with established physics. In approaches to quantum gravity where spacetime is emergent—such as loop quantum gravity or holographic dualities—the framework would naturally reformulate in relational or entanglement-theoretic terms. In that context, branch-relative multiplicity corresponds not to multiple times or geometries, but to multiple decohered relational histories or bulk reconstructions supported by a single underlying quantum state. This paper is intended as a foundations-level reinterpretation for physicists and philosophers of physics interested in quantum ontology, decoherence, and the conceptual structure of spacetime.
