Holographic Zeno Gravity: Entropic Spacetime Fluctuations and the Geometric Resolution of the Measurement Problem

Abstract

We propose Holographic Zeno Gravity (HZG), a stochastic modification of General Relativity that resolves the conflict between the superposition principle and the thermodynamic structure of spacetime. Addressing the “Heating Paradox” that invalidates standard Diósi-Penrose models, we postulate that the metric background is subject to non-Markovian “Red Noise” fluctuations (Sh(ω) ∝ 1/ω²) driven by the entropic drift of the holographic horizon. We derive a single-parameter Relational Master Equation where the decoherence rate is governed by a geometric coupling K = mcL/ħ and a single phenomenological amplitude A_eff ≈ 10⁻⁵⁴ s⁻¹, constrained by LISA Pathfinder bounds. The “Zeno” nomenclature reflects the continuous monitoring of spatial superpositions by the metric background, analogous to the quantum Zeno effect where frequent measurements inhibit state evolution. We demonstrate that while atomic interferometers remain transparent to these fluctuations, mesoscopic test masses in the proposed MAQRO mission will exhibit a measurable collapse time of τ ≈ 10³ seconds (L = 1 m). Distinctively, HZG predicts a geometric decoherence scaling (L⁻²) and a unique phase-space squeezing signature, providing a falsifiable alternative to environmental noise models.

A Holographic No-Go Constraint on Diósi–Penrose Collapse: The Parameter-Free Cutoff R0 = (lP^2 RH)^(1/3) and the Thermodynamic Heating Paradox

Brian C. Nyberg

VERSION NOTE (v2, 2026-07-02): This version supersedes v1 (April 2026). The central empirical-viability claims of v1 — a thermodynamically viable collapse kernel and a favorable DESI DR1 cosmological signature — were falsified by the author's own subsequent analysis. Fixing the smearing length to its holographically mandated value forces confrontation with the full hierarchy of collapse bounds, where spontaneous-heating measurements exclude it by ~9 orders of magnitude. The work has been rewritten as a parameter-free no-go constraint. v1 is retained below for the version record but should not be cited as a viability result. ABSTRACT (v2): The Diósi–Penrose (DP) model of gravity-induced wavefunction collapse requires an ad hoc mass-smearing length, set phenomenologically at the nucleon scale, R0 ~ 1e-15 m. We show that this scale is fixed by holographic cosmological geometry: evaluating the Károlyházy metric variance over the cosmological apparent horizon, as mandated by the Bousso covariant entropy bound, yields R0 = (lP^2 RH)^(1/3) = 3.3 fm from measured constants alone — a parameter-free reproduction of the historical choice. The decoherence-time kinematics survive every current test: a quantum–classical partition at m_crit ≈ 120 m_e protects atomic chemistry (electron tau ~ 1e21 s) and matter-wave interferometry (C60: ~115 yr) while imposing definiteness on macroscopic bodies, with the ambiguous mesoscopic window falling in the macromolecular regime accessible to near-term interferometry. The standard dynamical realization does not survive. The Einstein Equivalence Principle suppresses single-nucleus dipole bremsstrahlung by a derived factor (k_X R0)^2 ≈ 3e-8, and any noise cutoff below 1e18 Hz evades the underground X-ray bound; but neither defense touches spontaneous heating, which with the standard prefactor predicts ~28 mW/kg — nine orders of magnitude above cryogenic heat-leak ceilings. The heating is charge-independent and probes THz phonons via the relative momentum diffusion of atoms separated by 1e5 correlation lengths, so it is immune to the equivalence principle and robust to any high-frequency cutoff. The framework derives exactly two temporal scales (the pixel light-crossing rate ~1e22 Hz and the horizon refresh rate ~1e-19 Hz); neither lands in the fifteen-decade escape window, and inserting one by hand reinjects the free parameter the construction eliminates. We conclude that if objective collapse is sourced by cosmological holographic geometry, it cannot be mediated by continuous stochastic momentum diffusion: a parameter-free no-go constraint forcing gravity-induced reduction toward non-dissipative or purely kinematic mechanisms.

The Algorithmic Reality Model: Unifying Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity via the Zeno Threshold and Thermodynamic Graph Routing

Serdar Hanzala Yaman

Abstract For over a century, theoretical physics has treated General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics as fundamentally incompatible: one posits a continuous, deterministic spacetime manifold; the other, a discrete, probabilistic Hilbert space. The Algorithmic Reality Model (ARM) resolves this schism by identifying a single computational mechanism—the Zeno Threshold (Zα)—as the universal bound governing both quantum collapse and spacetime geometry. ARM treats physical reality as the macroscopic projection of a finite-bandwidth computational substrate operating on a timeless, pre-geometric state (the Singleton). By enforcing Landauer's principle of irreversible erasure, ARM derives the entirety of the gravitational sector from seven pre-geometric, quantum informational axioms. Key Derivations & Unifications Emergent Spacetime: Spatial geometry emerges from the Quantum Fisher Information Metric (QFIM) of the observer's state space, while time emerges from the Tomita-Takesaki modular flow. The Lorentzian signature (-,+,+,+) is algebraically forced by the compact/non-compact structure of their isometry generators. The Holographic Scalar (The 3→1 Unification): Applying the Nyquist-Shannon sampling theorem to the holographic boundary yields the exact Bekenstein-Hawking factor of 1/4 as a universal 2D anti-aliasing limit. This simultaneously fixes the area-law coefficient and structurally derives Newton's constant as G = c3ξmin2 / ℏ. Systematic Boundary Deviations: The framework quantitatively resolves macroscopic anomalies as computational resolution limits. Dark energy emerges as the minimum Landauer maintenance cost of the cosmological event horizon, and the MOND acceleration scale (a0) emerges as a thermodynamic noise floor, algebraically locked by the structural identity a02 = (8πG/3)ρΛ. Thermodynamic State Truncation: Wavefunction collapse, the black hole information paradox, and EPR non-locality are rigorously unified as manifestations of the computational substrate's finite Landauer memory budget. Computational Computability Because ARM is built on discrete informational axioms rather than continuous manifolds, the entire framework is natively computable. The structural derivations in this paper—including emergent geodesic lensing, the Bekenstein-Hawking threshold, and the MOND noise floor—have been explicitly verified via sparse Hermitian lattice simulations. The complete open-source computational validation suite is available at: github.com/srdrymn/algorithmic-reality-model-validations This manuscript represents the master synthesis and culmination of the Algorithmic Theory of Reality (ATR) foundational framework.

A new photonic law of nature: the Great Decoherence Paradox. On Holographic Entanglement Horizons and Trans-Dimensional Photonic Continuity

peter de ceuster

While holography theory is frequently perceived as abstract and mathematically isolated, this treatise attempts to operationalize holographic physics to resolve a fundamental physical conflict: the trans-dimensional decoherence paradox. The transition of a gauge photon from a tightly bound, higher-dimensional ambient space into our exoterically expanding four-dimensional spacetime theoretically necessitates a severe disruption of quantum coherence. While dimensional boundary problems have been studied from various angles, our specific framework addresses a critical flaw: crossing a dimensional threshold governed by deeply chaotic, hyperbolic Mirzakhani boundary flows should induce immediate wave function collapse, reducing the structured photon to thermal noise. In this work, we propose that the structural integrity of the photon is not preserved by geometric shielding alone, but by a Holographic Entanglement Horizon. We demonstrate that the trans-dimensional gauge state avoids local decoherence through multipartite entanglement with the ambient space vacuum. By mapping Von Neumann entropy across the Grothendieck fibration and utilizing holographic quantum error correction, we derive the exact conditions under which a photon's global quantum information is conserved. This framework bridges quantum information theory with trans-dimensional topology, conceptualizing the ambient space as a high-density quantum information substrate. Ultimately, this redefines the intersection of light and inward-collapsing metric geometries.

Structural Scaling Law for Gravitational Decoherence in Levitated Optomechanics: A 1 Hz Target

Yi Ning Chen

Levitated optomechanical systems are approaching the regime where macroscopic quantum superpositions become experimentally accessible. A central question is whether gravity itself, through its unavoidable coupling to material quantum fluctuations, imposes a fundamental decoherence channel on such superpositions. Starting from two independently well-tested physical elements—the quantum vacuum fluctuations of the material energy-momentum tensor, and the weak-field linear response kernel of classical general relativity—we derive a structurally rigid scaling law for the gravitational decoherence rate: \Gamma \propto G M^2 d^2 / (\hbar L^3) \cdot \Phi(l_*/L). The exponents and dependence on mass M, superposition separation d, and object size L are fixed entirely by dimensional analysis and the semiclassical field equations, without tunable parameters. The overall amplitude is set by a single phenomenological input—the ultraviolet cutoff scale l_* of the effective geometric noise. Identifying l_* with the Planck length yields \Phi \sim \mathcal{O}(1) and a decoherence rate of order 1\,\text{Hz} for nanoparticles with M \sim 10^{-14}\,\text{kg}, d \sim 10^{-7}\,\text{m}, and L \sim 10^{-6}\,\text{m}, placing the prediction within the foreseeable sensitivity window of next-generation levitated optomechanical setups. We provide explicit falsification conditions, a three-path staged verification strategy that does not require simultaneous optimisation of all parameters, and operational signatures—including a distinctive pure-dephasing channel without energy relaxation—that distinguish this mechanism from environmental noise, zero-temperature electromagnetic vacuum fluctuations, and the Diósi-Penrose model.

Perspectival Holographic Spacetime: Relational Geometry and the Topological Phase Transition of Measurement

Robert Will

The measurement problem in quantum mechanics and the emergence of spacetime in quantum gravity are traditionally treated as distinct structural crises in theoretical physics. This paper proposes a synthesis of Relational Quantum Mechanics (RQM) and the gauge-gravity duality (AdS/CFT) through a framework termed Perspectival Holographic Spacetime (PHS). By abandoning the assumption of an absolute, globally defined bulk geometry, PHS models spacetime as a sheaf of localized, observer-dependent holographic geometries driven by mutual information. To account for the generation of local Riemannian curvature from entanglement networks, we introduce Morphogenetic Quantum Resources (MQR)—the non-stabilizer complexity required to shape spacetime, directly analogous to biological morphogenesis. Under PHS, quantum measurement is formalized not as an objective collapse, but as a topological phase transition and structural localization within the observer's specific emergent reference frame, thereby providing a purely geometric resolution to the Extended Wigner's Friend paradox.

Coherence Field Dynamics: An Information-Geometric Framework for Quantum Decoherence with Hardware Validation

Celal Arda

Version: v1.0 DESCRIPTION: We introduce Coherence Field Dynamics (CFD), a theoretical framework that extends holographic quantum gravity by promoting quantum coherence — the off-diagonal density matrix elements — to an independent geometric degree of freedom. While standard holographic frameworks (AdS/CFT, Ryu-Takayanagi) encode bulk geometry through entanglement entropy alone, CFD posits that coherence parameterizes effective bulk depth, complementary to entanglement's encoding of connectivity. The coherence field φ(p,γ) satisfies a wave equation in information-geometric parameter space, generating a Lorentzian metric that degenerates at a critical decoherence threshold γ_c. The framework predicts the existence of such a threshold from geometric stability analysis; its specific numerical value is system-dependent. Connections are established between information geometry, MERA tensor networks, and holographic entropy. The variational principle coupling coherence to an effective gravitational action is presented as an analogue gravity model (c and G are effective parameters), not a claim about physical 4D spacetime. Key results: Theoretical framework: coherence field equation, information-geometric metric, variational principle, and five testable predictionsCompanion experimental work demonstrates a fidelity threshold at γ ≈ 0.535 on IonQ Forte-1 (F = 0.988 baseline, collapse to F ≈ 0 under dephasing) and consistency with the dephasing response on Pasqal FRESNEL_CAN1 QPU (noise ratio 1.13×). These results are consistent with CFD's predicted critical behavior, though they do not uniquely distinguish CFD from standard noise models. The specific threshold value (0.535) is determined by the experimental circuit geometry, not derived from CFD aloneFour predictions remain open and experimentally accessible on current NISQ hardware: coherence-depth complementarity, MERA-decoherence correspondence, coherence-modulated entropy scaling, and hardware demonstration of non-trivial reversibilityThis paper presents the theoretical framework. The detailed experimental protocols and hardware data are reported in the companion publication "Cross-Platform Noise Thresholds in Quantum Teleportation: Trapped-Ion and Neutral-Atom Architectures" (see Related Identifiers).
