Bu tez calismasi bes bolumden olusmaktadir.Birinci bolum giris kismina ayrilmistir. Besinci bolum, sonuc kismindan olusmaktadir.AbstractThis thesis consists of five chapters. In the first chapter being introduction, the contents of the thesis are described and the methods used in the thesis are explained. In the second chapter, basics of the pseudo-Hermitian quantum mechanics are presented briefly providing also some key proofs. For non-Hermitian Hamiltonians having a real spectrum the method for constructing a new inner product with respect to which the non-Hermitian Hamiltonian becomes Hermitian is explained. Also a way for constructing observables in the pseudo-Hermitik quantum mechanics is shown. In the third chapter, spectral analysis of a discrete model being the main subject of the thesis is provided. Conditions that ensure reality of the eigenvalues of this non-Hermitian model are found. The eigenvalues and eigenvectors are explicitly computed for the two-dimensional model. In the fourth chapter, when the two-dimensional model is non-Hermitan but has real eigenvalues a new inner product with respect to which the model becomes Hermitian is constructed. This new inner product is realized by means of a positive-definite operator (matrix) called a metric operator. Then this metric operator is used to construct the observables of the corresponding quantum system. The fifth chapter consists of conclusion.
