Micro-Lens Theory: A Geometric Analogy Model for Quantum Entanglement and Randomness

Hong Li

Based on the core logic of physical reductionism, the macroscopic world is composed of microscopic particles, and macroscopic physical laws must necessarily be the apparent continuation of microscopic underlying mechanisms. The human ability to achieve conjugate imaging using glass lenses proves conversely that an intrinsic conjugate imaging mechanism naturally exists in the universe. Aiming at the problems that quantum entanglement, quantum randomness, and wave-particle duality lack intuitive physical pictures, and that there is a cognitive gap between macroscopic optics and microscopic quantum laws, this paper proposes the Micro-Lens Theory: a micro-lens is defined as a cosmic-native geometric structure of conjugate correlation between particles/entities, distinguishing between the cosmic intrinsic conjugate mechanism and the imitative interference mechanism of human-made lenses. The theory proves that quantum entanglement is the entity conjugate effect of intrinsic lenses at the microscopic scale; macroscopic symmetry, duality, and conservation phenomena are the scale continuation of this mechanism, which is non-optical in nature. Quantum randomness originates from the dynamic fluctuation of the correlation structure, and wavefunction collapse corresponds to human interference with the intrinsic mechanism. This paper unifies microscopic quantum entanglement with macroscopic natural conjugate phenomena for the first time, fully explains the essential difference between "entity–entity conjugation"and "virtual image imaging", and provides a new geometric path for the homologous unification of quantum mechanics and classical optics.

Computational Complexity and the Interpretation of a Quantum State Vector

Arkady Bolotin

The macro-objectivation problem derives from the fact that the Schrodinger equation is linear and thus requires that a macroscopic system interacting with an entangled state must be entangled as well. However, such a requirement entails that the Schrodinger equation must also be solvable in the macroscopic world in the same way as it is solvable in the microscopic world, which itself is an assumption. In this work, the alternative assumption that the Schrodinger equation is in general an intractable problem is considered.

What Is the Vital Force? Towards a Quantum Perspective on Vitalism and Possible Consequences for CAM.

Lionel R. Milgrom

A brief history of vitalism is followed by a description of the scientific paradigm and the relationship of information to quantum theory. Quantum Bayesianism (QBism) is introduced as an alternative subjective interpretation of quantum theory, and a better descriptor of the therapeutic process (TP) than previous objective conventional quantum theoretical (CQT) interpretations. The vital force (Vf) is considered a system defined solely by observations of a patient’s (Px’s) secondary symptoms (S2) during case-taking, and changes to them (DS2) after treatment. This is combined with a previous gyroscopic metaphor of the Vf. According to QBism, wave functions generated by this metaphor depend on subjective degrees of belief in observations of S2 and DS2. As such, assessing a Px’s S2 and DS2 not only changes over time but may well differ from another’s assessment of the same Px. Conclusion: Treating the Vf as an analogue of the quantum state of a macroscopic system, i.e., Px, represents all that can possibly be known about a Px’s symptoms by observation, not the Vf’s presumed reality, separate from an observer. The Vf is simply a representation of knowledge about Px, suggesting how a subjective generally valid quantum metaphor for the TP might develop in future.
