Kinetic Scalar Modulation and Quantum Transport Extending the NUVO Schr/odinger Equation – Part 16 of the NUVO Theory Series

Abstract

This paper extends the NUVO-modified Schr¨odinger equation by incorporating local velocity-dependent modulation through the scalar field λ(r, v). Building on the gravitational redshift and time dilation results of Series 15, we introduce kinetic scalar effects and develop a formalism for scalar-modulated quantum parallel transport along trajectories. This approach unifies motion-induced and gravitational contributions to quantum evolution, with implications for GPS, atomic clocks, and quantum interference under dynamic conditions.

Scalar gravitational Aharonov–Bohm effect: Generalization of the gravitational redshift

Michael Edmund Tobar, Michael T. Hatzon, Graeme Flower +1 more

The Aharonov–Bohm effect is a quantum mechanical phenomenon that demonstrates how potentials can have observable effects even when the classical fields associated with those potentials are absent. Initially proposed for electromagnetic interactions, this effect has been experimentally confirmed and extensively studied over the years. More recently, the effect has been observed in the context of gravitational interactions using atom interferometry. Additionally, recent predictions suggest that temporal variations in the phase of an electron wave function will induce modulation sidebands in the energy levels of an atomic clock, solely driven by a time-varying scalar gravitational potential. In this study, we consider the atomic clock as a two-level system undergoing continuous Rabi oscillations between the electron's ground and excited state. We assume the photons driving the transition are precisely frequency-stabilized to match the transition, enabling accurate clock comparisons. Our analysis takes into account, that when an atom transitions from its ground state to an excited state, it absorbs energy, increasing its mass according to the mass-energy equivalence principle. Due to the mass difference between the two energy levels, we predict that an atomic clock in an eccentric orbit experiencing a time-varying gravitational potential, will exhibit a constant frequency redshift relative to a ground clock, corresponding to the orbit's average gravitational redshift. Additionally, modulation sidebands will appear, and detecting these predicted sidebands would confirm the scalar gravitational Aharonov–Bohm effect.

Geometric Origin of Quantization: Deriving the Schrodinger Framework from NUVO Scalar Coherence

Rickey Austin

This paper derives the Schrödinger equation directly from the geometric structure of NUVO scalar space, without probabilistic postulates. Starting from the conformal metric g=λ2ηg = \lambda^2 \etag=λ2η and sinertia conservation, the analysis shows that the scalar transport law reduces in the stationary, closed-frame limit to the Schrödinger equation. The approach introduces a purely geometric interpretation of momentum, energy, and quantization, linking them to curvature and holonomy of the scalar field λ(x)\lambda(x)λ(x). Planck’s constant arises as a calibrated scale of scalar coherence.

Time-Scalar Field Theory and Quantum Mechanics: Schrodinger, Dirac, and Klein-Gordon Equations from Scalar-Time Continuity

Jordan Gabriel Farrell

We derive the Schr¨odinger, Dirac, and Klein-Gordon equations from the scalar-time continuity law of Time-Scalar Field Theory (TSFT). By promoting evolution to the scalar-time parameter Θ and introducing a local time-rate field α(x), classical Hamiltonian and quantum operator dynamics unify under the relation dOdΘ = α{O,H} (classical) and dO dΘ = i¯hα[ ˆH ,O] (quantum). Schr¨odinger’s equation follows from ∂Θ = α∂t; the Dirac equation emerges from a Θ-weighted tetrad with a spin-connection term ∝ ∂μ ln α; and the Klein-Gordon equation arises as the relativistic scalar field equation in the effective metric induced by Θ. Standardquantum mechanics is recovered when ∇α = 0, while TSFT predicts falsifiable gradient corrections accessible to precision matter-wave and spinor interferometry. We supply quantitative estimates (e.g. δϕ ∼ 10−3 rad for Q = 109 cavities) and cross-link TSFT’s microphysics to its cosmological continuity, emphasizing multi-scale coherence and experiment-first falsifiability.

NUVO Quantization III: Emergence of Quantum Mechanics from First Principles

Rickey Austin

We derive nonrelativistic quantum mechanics directly from NUVO scalar geometry without probabilistic postulates. Starting from the conformal metric g= λ 2 η and the conservation of sinertia flow, we obtain a deterministic scalar transport law whose stationary, closed-frame limit is the Schrödinger equation. Momentum and energy operators arise from the scalar-covariant derivative D μ = ∂ μ +i ∂ μ lnλ , canonical commutators follow from curvature [ D μ , D ν ]=i F μν , and the uncertainty relation is a local geometric bound. Planck’s constant appears as the calibrated scale of holonomy. Applications (hydrogenic levels, tunneling, spin holonomy, squeezing) illustrate how standard quantum phenomena emerge from curvature and holonomy of λ( x ) .

Temporal Information Dynamics in the Scalar Temporal Field Ontology: Part VII — Quantum Information Dynamics, Decoherence, and Entanglement Flow

Howe, Cale Scott

Part VII of the Temporal Information Dynamics (TID) series develops the full quantum-information layer of the Scalar Temporal Field Ontology (STFO), where time is a physical scalar field τ(x) and information evolves along its integral curves. This work extends Parts I–VI by deriving the complete quantum dynamics implied by τ-geometry: the τ-modified Schrödinger equation governing intrinsic temporal evolution, the temporal decoherence kernel generated by fluctuations δτ, a covariant τ-Lindblad master equation for open quantum systems, directional entanglement flow induced by ∇μτ, τ-dependent deformations of the quantum Fisher metric, modified quantum-channel capacities, coherence lengths, and error exponents, τ-corrected propagators, Green’s functions, and canonical commutators, and a fully geometric τ-weighted path-integral formulation. Across all levels—Hamiltonian, thermodynamic, geometric, and quantum—information flow becomes a direct probe of τ-gradients and temporal curvature. The resulting framework is testable in atom interferometry, optical and microwave clock networks, spin-echo experiments, and quantum computing hardware. This paper completes the quantum-information pillar of STFO and unifies classical information flow, thermodynamic irreversibility, geometric curvature, and quantum coherence into one continuous, falsifiable theory of temporal dynamics.

Time Dilation of Quantum Clocks in a Relativistic Gravitational Potential

Tommaso Favalli, Augusto Smerzi

We study the dynamical evolution of two quantum clocks interacting with a relativistic gravitational potential. We find a time dilation effect for the clocks in agreement with the gravitational time dilation as obtained from the Schwarzschild solution in General Relativity. We perform our investigation via the Page and Wootters quantum-time formalism, exploring the dynamics of clocks assuming them in both a product state and a more general (entangled) state. The gravitational redshift, as emerging from our framework, is also proposed and discussed.
