Persistence of solvability in quantum systems deformed by Dunkl operators

Abstract

We study persistence of solvability in nonrelativistic quantum systems with positiondependent mass upon introduction of a deformation by Dunkl operators. Conditions are derived for the governing Schrödinger equation of the conventional system to admit the same solutions as in the deformed case, up to a reparametrisation of coupling constants. These conditions require the positiondependent mass or the potential of the system to have a specific form. If this is the case for a particular system, then the Schrödinger equations for its conventional version and for the Dunkl-deformed partner share solutions in the same functional form.

Generalized Dunkl-Schrodinger equations: solvable cases, point transformations, and position-dependent mass systems

Axel Schulze‐Halberg

Abstract We devise a method for constructing solvable cases of generalized linear Dunkl-Schrödinger equations by means of suitable point transformations. The quantum-mechanical framework pertaining to such equations is discussed, and the particular case of a position-dependent mass scenario is analyzed.

Dunkl–Schrödinger models with energy-dependent couplings: Exact solutions and confinement-like spectra

R. Boudjouraf, B. Hamil, Amar Benchikha +1 more

In this paper, we investigate the Dunkl–Schrödinger equation in the presence of energy-dependent potentials. A consistent formulation is developed by deriving modified expressions for the probability density, normalization condition, and scalar product, thereby ensuring the conservation of probability. Exact analytical solutions are obtained for both one- and three-dimensional systems. In the one-dimensional case, we study an energy-dependent harmonic oscillator and analyze the resulting energy spectrum for different forms of energy dependence. The analysis is then extended to three dimensions, where central potentials are considered, including the harmonic oscillator and Coulomb interactions. We show that the interplay between the Dunkl deformation and the energy dependence leads to significant modifications of the spectral structure, including nonlinear energy behavior and, in some cases, a finite number of bound states. Concrete physical realizations of such energy-dependent potentials are discussed, including semiconductors with an energy-dependent effective mass, two-dimensional electron gases in strong magnetic fields, and cold atoms in optically engineered traps.

Generalized Dunkl Quantum Systems with Energy-Dependent Interactions: Exact Solvability and Thermodynamic Properties

B. Hamil, R. Boudjouraf, A. Benchikha +1 more

This work investigates a class of exactly solvable quantum systems described by a generalized Dunkl--Schrödinger equation with energy-dependent interactions. A two-parameter extension of the Dunkl differential operator is introduced, incorporating both the conventional reflection contribution and an additional derivative-reflection coupling. The resulting formalism leads to a modified Heisenberg algebra, from which the continuity equation, conserved probability current, and generalized normalization condition are derived for energy-dependent potentials. As an application, an energy-dependent harmonic oscillator is studied in detail. Exact analytical expressions for the eigenfunctions and energy spectrum are obtained in terms of associated Laguerre polynomials. The combined effects of the Wigner parameter, the deformation parameter, and the energy-dependence parameter are shown to produce parity splitting, nonlinear energy spectra, and nonuniform level spacing while preserving exact solvability. The thermodynamic properties of the model are then examined through the canonical partition function using the Euler--Maclaurin summation formula. Analytical expressions for the partition function, internal energy, entropy, and specific heat are derived and analyzed numerically. The results demonstrate that the generalized Dunkl deformation and energy-dependent interaction provide effective control over both the spectral and thermal characteristics of the system, extending the class of exactly solvable quantum models with reflection symmetry.

Closed-form bound states for two Dunkl–Liénard oscillator systems

Axel Schulze‐Halberg

In this paper, we construct the general Hamiltonian for position-dependent mass systems within the Dunkl formalism. The associated Schrödinger equation is shown to admit closed-form solutions of bound state type for two particular Dunkl–Liénard systems, given by the Dunkl–Higgs oscillator, and a spiked mass Dunkl oscillator. Differences to the conventional scenario are discussed.

The Dunkl oscillator on a space of nonconstant curvature: An exactly solvable quantum model with reflections

Ángel Ballesteros, Amene Najafizade, H. Panahi +2 more

We introduce the Dunkl-Darboux III oscillator Hamiltonian in N dimensions as a λ−deformation of the Dunkl oscillator. This deformation is interpreted as the introduction of a non-constant curvature on the underlying space or, equivalently, as a quadratic position-dependent mass for the Dunkl oscillator. This new ND quantum model is shown to be exactly solvable, and its eigenvalues and eigenfunctions are explicitly presented. It is shown that in the 2D case both Darboux III and Dunkl oscillators can be coupled with a constant magnetic field, thus giving rise to two new exactly solvable quantum systems in which the effect of the λ−deformation and of the Dunkl derivatives on the Landau levels can be studied. Finally, the full 2D Dunkl-Darboux III oscillator is coupled with the magnetic field and shown to define an exactly solvable Hamiltonian, where the interplay between the λ−deformation and the magnetic field is explicitly illustrated.

Investigation of the Dunkl-Schrödinger equation for Position Dependent Mass in the presence of a Lie algebraic approach

Parisa Sedaghatnia, HASSAN HASSANABADI, W. S. Chung +3 more

Recent studies have shown that the use of Dunkl derivatives instead of ordinary derivatives leads to deriving parity-dependent dynamic solutions. According to this motivation in this manuscript, we formulate the Dunkl-Schrödinger equation within the position-dependent mass formalism and derive an algebraic solution out of it. Our systematic approach lets us observe some new findings in addition to the earlier ones. For example, we find that the solution of the Dunkl-Schröodinger equation with position-dependent mass cannot be considered independent of the choice of parameters. Similarly, through the sl(2) algebra, the energy spectrum and the corresponding wave functions are derived in terms of possible Dunkl, ($μ$), and mass, ($α$), parameters.
