Abstract

The rapid advance in semiconductor technology requires novelty in approach to improve device performance and efficiency. This paper discusses the use of quantum-inspired AI models as a state-of-the-art solution for the optimization of semiconductor devices. We create and train these AI models with the help of real datasets to make accurate predictions and improvements in important performance parameters of different semiconductor components.Unlike traditional optimization methods, quantum-inspired AI makes use of the power of quantum computing principles to explore complex parameter spaces much more effectively, yielding far superior optimization results. Our experiments further reveal that such models yield higher accuracy in their performance predictions and by orders of magnitudes reduce both time and computational resources for optimization. The proposed approach can fulfill this by integrating real data, thus making the entire approach practical and robust.Overcoming these challenges will help the semiconductor industries meet the everincreasing demand in speed, size, and energy efficiency. This paper researches the potential of quantuminspired AI to revolutionize the fields of semiconductor design and manufacture for next-generation electronic technology.

AI-Based Disease Prediction Using Quantum Inspired Optimization Techniques

Kishore A, Nawfees MI, Dr. S. Thilagavathi

Early and accurate disease prediction is a major challenge in modern healthcare systems. Delayed diagnosis often leads to higher treatment costs and lower patient survival rates. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques are widely used to help with medical decision-making by analyzing complex healthcare datasets. However, traditional machine learning models often face issues with inefficient feature selection, poor hyperparameter tuning, and slow convergence during optimization. This is especially true when working with high-dimensional medical data. To tackle these challenges, this paper presents an AI-based disease prediction framework that uses quantum-inspired optimization techniques. This approach combines classical machine learning classifiers with optimization strategies based on quantum computing principles, such as probabilistic state representation and superposition-based search. These quantum-inspired methods allow for efficient exploration of the solution space, which leads to better feature selection and optimized model parameters. We evaluate the proposed framework using a publicly available healthcare dataset from Kaggle. We compare the performance of traditional machine learning models and quantum-inspired optimized models using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The experimental results show that the quantum-inspired optimized model consistently performs better than conventional approaches. This study demonstrates that quantum-inspired optimization provides a practical and scalable solution for improving AI-driven disease prediction systems without the need for actual quantum computing hardware.

INTEGRATION OF QUANTUM-INSPIRED ALGORITHMS IN CIRCUIT TECHNOLOGIES FOR ENHANCED COMPUTATIONAL EFFICIENCY

Joe Marshell M, K. Parkavi

The continuous growth in computational demands has led to the exploration of innovative technologies for enhancing circuit efficiency. Quantum-inspired algorithms have garnered attention due to their potential to improve optimization, processing, and energy consumption in conventional circuit technologies. Traditional circuit designs, primarily based on classical computation, face limitations in handling large-scale problems due to inefficient algorithms and hardware constraints. These challenges prompt the need for alternative solutions capable of providing scalable, high-performance computation in complex environments. This research proposes integrating quantum- inspired algorithms into circuit technologies to address these challenges. Quantum algorithms, such as the Quantum Approximate Optimization Algorithm (QAOA) and quantum annealing, offer substantial benefits over classical counterparts, especially in solving NP-hard problems, simulating quantum systems, and optimizing complex functions. The integration of such algorithms into circuit design can potentially reduce computational complexity, improve data throughput, and optimize energy efficiency, offering a more sustainable approach in circuit development. The study investigates the adaptation of quantum-inspired algorithms into field-effect transistors (FETs) and other circuit components, focusing on optimizing power consumption and operational speed. A hybrid approach combining classical circuit elements with quantum-inspired strategies is implemented to evaluate its impact on both performance and scalability. The results show a notable reduction in energy consumption and improvement in processing speed, validating the promise of quantum-inspired solutions in enhancing computational efficiency.

Quantum Enhanced High Performance Computing for Next Generation AI and Machine Learning

Anandakumar Haldorai

Use of AI/ML is associated with more and more computing power, which often necessitates the application to guzzle energy and take time to train. The paper presents a Quantum-Enhanced High-Performance Computing (Q-HPC) system that will combine traditional HPC units with quantum-assisted optimization to enhance the model training in addition to the predictive accuracy and energy efficiency. The framework that could be used to work with such large volumes of data is multi- GPU/CPU parallelization, and the optimization of parameters and hyperparameters can be implemented with the help of quantum-inspired algorithms. This will lead to a hybrid computation balancing dynamically the classical and quantum computations. Q-HPC was experimented with multiple AI/ML model types, such as convolutional networks, transformer models, graph neural networks and reinforcement learning agents, in which cases it was observed to traverse to the solution faster, more accurately and used less energy than the traditional HPC. It can also be said that the framework is dynamically adaptable and sustainable, i.e. it could be deployed to a massive diversifying range of tasks of AI/ML. The suggested model is a combination of the performance and scalability of the classical HPC with the optimization performance of quantum computing in order to create a new and valuable approach to the next generation AI. It deals with the issues of performance and environmental concerns of high-performance computing.
