Quantum Enhanced AI Assistant for Agriculture Knowledge and Advisory

Lankavalasa Bhavana, Kandula Venkata Sai Sandeep, Yalakala Mohini +3 more

Agricultural technology has rapidly evolved in recent years, introducing solutions such as AI-based yield prediction, drone-enabled crop surveillance, automated irrigation systems, disease detection models, and precision farming tools. However, the practical implementation of these innovations remains significantly limited, particularly in rural areas where access to reliable and comprehensible information is scarce. At the same time, traditional, sustainable farming practices passed down through generations are increasingly being forgotten. This project aims to bridge these gaps by developing a mobile-based conversational assistant that serves as a centralized agricultural knowledge resource for farmers and learners. The assistant follows a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture, enabling users to pose queries in natural language and receive accurate, easy-to-understand responses that cover both modern agricultural technologies and traditional sustainable practices. Semantic understanding is achieved through pre-trained sentence embedding models, and enhanced by the integration of quantum computing techniques using Qiskit. Embeddings are angle-encoded onto six qubits, and similarity is evaluated using fidelity measure, which captures complex relationships in context-rich queries. The assistant's flow is managed using LangChain, and the application is built with Flutter to ensure mobile accessibility and multilingual support. By integrating quantum computing with NLP, this solution aims to bridge the knowledge gap in agriculture while preserving essential insights for future generations.

AI-enhanced quantum optical devices

Than Singh Saini

Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are attractive and growing universal and extensive in a broad range of perspectives from commercial applications to cutting-edge scientific research. In AI, one can simulate human intelligence processes via machines, especially computer systems. In a true sense, AI is a part of our modern life, as it is quite tough to identify an area where accomplishments in the field of AI would not be used. AI technologies enable machines to learn useful processes, including object recognition, speech recognition, natural language processing, machine vision, and digital personal assistants. In this context, quantum optics and quantum-based technologies have been found in prominent positions since they enable a speed up in learning processes [ 1–4 ]. It has been perceived that the demand for the algorithms that enable machines to learn quickly and efficiently have increased day-by-day as the field of AI has advanced. Quantum machine learning is a fast rising field connecting AI and quantum technology.

Quantum-enhanced AI entrepreneurship in tourism: Transforming dynamic and personalized business models

Aidin Salamzadeh, Léo‐Paul Dana, Morteza Hadizadeh +1 more

This research integrates quantum-driven artificial intelligence with innovative entrepreneurial strategies to design an adaptive decision-making model for tourism businesses. The model leverages principles of quantum uncertainty and artificial intelligence to address operational complexity and uncertainty, advancing personalized traveler experiences and sustainable tourism entrepreneurship. Through theoretical synthesis and simulations using twelve qubits, the study models key variables—including tourist preferences, real-time conditions, economic and health indices, social media trends, and resource capacities—to optimize tourism management and entrepreneurial decision-making. Results illustrate enhanced adaptability, resilience, and business innovation by supporting entrepreneurial actions such as personalized travel planning, supply chain optimization, crisis response, and business opportunity prediction. The findings propose quantum-AI integration as a disruptive force within tourism entrepreneurship, promoting both sustainable business models and global industry transformation.

Leveraging Towards the Efficacy of Open Source Quantum Computing Frameworks for Recommended Systems

Archita Bhattacharyya, Mrinal Kanti Debbarma, Rabindra Kumar Barik

Quantum computing has the potential to transform a wide range of fields, such as materials science, chemistry, and optimization issues. The prohibitive expense of proprietary frameworks has severely limited the development of quantum computing systems, despite their transformative potential. Wider involvement in quantum research and development is now possible because of the emergence of open-source quantum computing frameworks as collaborative and affordable alternatives. With a particular focus on different frameworks, this study explores the effectiveness of open-source quantum computing frameworks in improving recommendation systems. In tackling challenging quantum computing problems, the study thoroughly assesses the usability, scalability, and performance of the framework. The results and analysis demonstrate the scalability and performance of different frameworks while utilizing their open-source nature to encourage cooperation and creativity. This study advances quantum-enhanced recommendation systems by bridging the gap between academic research and real-world applications. It also provides practitioners, developers, and researchers who want to use open-source quantum computing frameworks with insightful information to meet their computational needs. The authors aim to extend this research by exploring novel hybrid quantumclassical systems tailored for real-time applications. Future work will focus on integrating error-corrected quantum frameworks to overcome scalability challenges and advance their utility in healthcare and personalized services. This study advances quantum-enhanced recommendation systems by bridging the gap between academic research and real-world applications, providing practitioners and researchers with insight into using open source quantum computing frameworks.

C4Q: A Chatbot for Quantum

Yaiza Aragonés-Soria, Manuel Oriol B

Quantum computing is a growing field that promises many real-world applications such as quantum cryptography or quantum finance. The number of people able to use quantum computing is however still very small. This limitation comes from the difficulty to understand the concepts and to know how to start coding. Therefore, there is a need for tools that can assist non-expert in overcoming this complexity. One possibility would be to use existing conversational agents. Unfortunately ChatGPT and other Large-Language Models produce inaccurate results.
