Abstract

In the present manuscript, we introduce a quantum system of two superconducting qubits (S-Qs) interacting with a quantized field under the influence of the Kerr nonlinear medium and Ising interaction. We formulate the Hamiltonian of the quantum model and determine the density operator of whole quantum system as well as quantum subsystems. We examine the dynamics of the quantumness measures for subsequent times including the S-Qs entanglement, S-Qs-field entanglement and quantum Fisher information in relation to the system parameters. Finally, we display the connection among the measures of quantumness during the time evolution.

Entanglement and photon statistics of two dipole–dipole coupled superconducting qubits with Kerr-like nonlinearities

Shatha A. Aldaghfag, K. Berrada, S. Abdel‐Khalek

The engineering of Kerr and time-dependent coupling interactions is of great attention for treating quantum information in quantum systems and for investigating the collective behavior of large numbers of interacting particles in a cavity-qubit network. In this manuscript, we investigate the time evolution of the entanglement and some nonclassical properties of two superconducting qubits interacting with a single-mode field in the presence of a Kerr-like medium and dipole–dipole interaction without and with time-dependent coupling effect. We show that a slight alteration in the interaction, detuning, and Kerr parameters might cause a change in the entanglement of subsystem states during the evolution. By taking into account the influence of the different physical parameters, we show the statistical distributions produced in the photons of the single mode field through the calculation of the Mandel’s parameter. Finally, we find that the time-dependent Mandel’s parameter not only provide the statistical properties of the field, but also include the information of quantum entanglement for the subsystem states.

Entanglement and coherence in a system of two atoms in the presence of Kerr medium and field dissipation

K. Berrada, S. Abdel‐Khalek, A. Alkaoud +1 more

In the present manuscript, we investigate qualitatively the quantum entanglement and coherence in two atoms coupled to a quantized field in the existence of Kerr medium and Ising interaction. We explore the effects of the atom–atom (A–A) interaction and field nonlinearity on the dynamics of quantumness measures by examining the A–A concurrence, von Neumann entropy, l1 norm coherence and Mandel’s parameter. We also illustrate the relations between the information quantifiers in the presence and absence of field dissipation.

Effects of Dipole-Dipole Interaction and Time-Dependent Coupling on the Evolution of Entanglement and Quantum Coherence for Superconducting Qubits in a Nonlinear Field System

K. Berrada, Mariam Algarni, Marín Marín +1 more

We examine the temporal comportment of formation entanglement and quantum coherence in a quantum system made up of two superconducting charge qubits (SC-Qs), in the case of two different classes of nonlinear field. The results discussed the impact role of time-dependent coupling (T-DC) and dipole-dipole interaction (D-DI) on the temporal comportment of quantum coherence and entanglement in the ordinary and nonlinear field. In addition, we show that the main parameters of the quantum model affect the entanglement of formation and the coherence of the system in a similar way.

Quantumness Measures for a System of Two Qubits Interacting with a Field in the Presence of the Time-Dependent Interaction and Kerr Medium

S. Abdel‐Khalek, K. Berrada, Eied Mahmoud Khalil +3 more

In this work, we introduce the standard Tavis-Cummings model to describe two-qubit system interacting with a single-mode field associated to power-law (PL) potentials. We explore the effect of the time-dependent interaction and the Kerr-like medium. We solve the Schrödinger equation to obtain the density operator that allows us to investigate the dynamical behaviour of some quantumness measures, such as von Neumann entropy, negativity and Mandel's parameter. We provide how these entanglement measures depend on the system parameters, which paves the way towards better control of entanglement generation in two-qubit systems. We find that the enhancement and preservation of the atoms-field entanglement and atom-atom entanglement can be achieved by a proper choice of the initial parameters of the field in the absence and presence of the time-dependent interaction and Kerr medium. We examine the photons distribution of the field and determine the situations for which the field exhibits super-poissonian, poissonian or sub-poissonian distribution.

Entanglement between two charge qubits taking account the Kerr media

Evgeny K. Bashkirov

Background. The need to implement controlled coupling between qubits, which are the logical elements of quantum devices such as quantum computers and quantum networks, requires, along with the use of traditional methods, the development of new, more effective ways to organize the interaction of qubits with the microwave fields of resonators used to generate and control the entanglement of qubits. As one of these methods, a method based on the influence of frequency-regulated radio frequency signals on a superconducting Josephson qubit connected by a large Josephson junction to a free qubit has been proposed. Aim. The influence of the Kerr medium of the resonator, in which one of the two qubits is placed, on their entanglement induced by the coherent or thermal frequency-regulated radio frequency field of the resonator is considered. Methods. To analyze the dynamics of the system under consideration, the solution of the quantum Liouville equation for the full density matrix is studied. An exact solution o this equation is found in the case of initial separable and entangled states of qubits. The exact solution of the evolution equation is used to calculate the criterion of qubit-qubit entanglement – cconcurrence. Numerical modeling of the concurrence was carried out for various states of qubits, coherent and thermal fields of the resonator, as well as various values of the intensity of the resonator field and the Kerr nonlinearity parameter. Results. It is shown that for separable initial states of qubits, the inclusion of Kerr nonlinearity reduces the maximum degree of entanglement of qubits. For an entangled initial state of qubits, the possibility of creating long-lived entangled states in the presence of Kerr nonlinearity is shown. Conclusion. The type of initial states of qubits and the range of values of the intensities of the resonator fields and the Kerr nonlinearity parameters have been established, for which the most effective control and operation of the evolution of qubits, as well as the degree of their entanglement, in the physical system under consideration, is possible.

The system consisting of two identical artificial atoms (qubits), resonantly interacting with the mode of quantum field of an ideal microwave cavity in the presence o Abstract The system consisting of two identical artificial atoms (qubits), resonantly interacting with the mode of quantum field of an ideal microwave cavity in the presence of Kerr nonlinearity, is considered. For the considered model, an exact solution of the quantum Liouville equation for the full density matrix of the system two qubits + resonator field mode is obtained. To solve the quantum equation of evolution, the representation of dressed states, that is, the eigenfunctions of the Hamiltonian, was used. A complete set of dressed states of the considered model is found. With its help, the solution of the evolution equation was initially found for coherent initial states of qubits and Fock states of the field, that is, states with a certain number of photons in the resonator mode. Then, the above solution was generalized to the case of the thermal state of the resonator field. A reduced density matrix of two qubits is found by averaging over the field variables. The two-qubit density matrix is used to calculate the parameter of qubit entanglement in the analytical form. Concurrence was chosen as a quantitative criterion for qubit entanglement. A numerical simulation of the time dependence of the consistency of qubits for various parameters of the model and the initial states of qubits was carried out.
