Abstract

We present a protocol for the hierarchical controlled joint remote implementation of the partially unknown operations of m qudits belonging to some restricted sets by using m multiparticle high-dimensional entangled states as the quantum channel. All the senders share the information of the partially unknown operations and cooperate with each other to implement the partially unknown operations on the remote receiver's quantum system. The receivers are hierarchized in accordance with their abilities to reconstruct the desired state. The agents in the upper grade need only cooperate with one of the lower-grade agents, and the agents in the lower grade need the cooperation of all the other agents. The protocol has the advantage of having high channel capacity by using a high-dimensional entangle state as the quantum channel for the hierarchial controlled joint remote implementation of partially unknown quantum operations of m qudits.

Probabilistic hierarchically controlled teleportation of anarbitrary m-qudit state with a pure entangledquantum channel

Kun-Hong Feng, XiangQi LU, Ping Zhou

Quantum teleportation is a unique quantum information processing method in quantum communication. Researchers have shown considerable interest in hierarchically controlled teleportation by using quantum entangled states as the quantum channel. Protocols for the hierarchically controlled teleportation of an arbitrary single-qubit via a four-qubit χ state and a four-qubit cluster state have been proposed. We present a protocol for the hierarchically controlled teleportation of an arbitrary m-qudit (d-dimensional quantum system) state by using a partially entangled quantum state as the quantum channel. The sender performs m generalized Bell-state measurements on her 2m particles. To reconstruct the original state, the upper-grade receiver only needs to apply a unitary operation in accordance with one of the receivers’ measurement results, and the lower-grade receivers need to perform a unitary operation according to all the other receivers’ measurement results. The receivers can reconstruct the original state probabilistically by introducing an auxiliary qubit and performing a collective unitary transformation. The protocol has the advantage of having high channel capacity by using a high-dimensional entangled state as the quantum channel.

Mentor initialed multiparty hierarchical joint remote preparation of an arbitrary n-qudit state via generalized Bell states

Rui-Heng Jing, Yu-Bin Huang, An-An Bi +3 more

Abstract We propose a protocol to Mentor initiated hierarchical joint remote prepare the arbitrary n-qudit state with generalized Bell states. The agents share generalized Bell states with the Mentor. The Mentor performs five-qudit projective measurements on his entangled particles to initiate the quantum channel shared by the agents. All the senders share the information of the prepared state and make quantum measurements on their particles based on the state to be prepared. The agent in the upper grade needs only the assistance of one of the agents in the lower grade to reconstruct the original state, while the agents in the lower grade need the assistance of all the other agents to recover the original state. It is more convenient in application than others since the agents in the protocol only requires two-particle entanglement for Mentor initiated hierarchical joint remote preparation of an arbitrary n-qudit state.

Deterministic hierarchical joint remote state preparation using partially entangled quantum channel

Na Chen, Shuangshuang Shuai, Bin Yan

In this paper, we propose a novel scheme for deterministic hierarchical joint remote state preparation (HJRSP). Two senders and three receivers are involved. One sender has the amplitude information of the target state to be prepared at the receiver's port, while the other one has the phase information. There is a hierarchy among the receivers concerning their powers to reconstruct the target state. 6-particle partially entangled state is used as the quantum channel. Participants perform projective measurements under elaborate measurement bases. According to their measurement results, the receiver reconstructs the target state by means of appropriate unitary operation. The higher-power receiver reconstructs the target state independently, and the lower-power receiver reconstructs the target state if and only if all the other receivers help him (her). Different from the previous HJRSP scheme utilizing partially entangled channels, auxiliary qubit is not required in our scheme, and unit success probability can be achieved. It is shown that the success probability is independent of the parameters of the partially entangled quantum channel.

Controlled remote implementation of quantum operations with high-dimensional systems

You-Bang Zhan, Xiaowei Li, Peng-Cheng Ma +1 more

We present two protocols for the controlled remote implementation of quantum operations between three-party high-dimensional systems. Firstly, the controlled teleportation of an arbitrary unitary operation by bidirectional quantum state teleportaion (BQST) with high-dimensional systems is considered. Then, instead of using the BQST method, a protocol for controlled remote implementation of partially unknown operations belonging to some restricted sets in high-dimensional systems is proposed. It is shown that, in these protocols, if and only if the controller would like to help the sender with the remote operations, the controlled remote implementation of quantum operations for high-dimensional systems can be completed.

Controlled Hierarchical Quantum Communication of an Unknown Two-Qubit Entangled State

Wang Zuo-don

A scheme of controlled hierarchical quantum information of an unknown two-qubit entangled state by using a six-qubit cluster state as the quantum channel is proposed. Because of their different level of trust by the sender, different receivers have different ability to recover the unknown state. The sender needs to perform a joint von-Neumann measurement on her three qubits, controller according to different receivers take a local measurement or a join measurement. After received the two measurements, the receiver can reconstruct the unknown state by performing appropriate unitary operations, then this controlled hierarchical quantum communication is accomplished.

Hierarchical remote preparation of an arbitrary m-qudit state with multiple agents

Junli Jiang, Song-Ya Ma, Yan Xia

Based on Jin et al.’s hierarchical remote preparation scheme of an arbitrary [Formula: see text]-qudit state with three agents, we propose one scheme for multiple agents by utilizing the symmetry of cluster states. To save entanglement resource, we then put forward the other improved scheme. There exists a hierarchy among the agents in terms of their abilities which are quantified by nonconditioned fidelity. The upper-grade agent needs the assistance of all the remaining upper-grade agents and any one of the lower-grade agents to recover the target state, while the lower-grade agent requires all the other agents’ collaboration. It is important to emphasize that the recovery operation is derived by a general expression clearly revealing the relationship with the measurement results.
