Abstract

Abstract Under the condition of the spin symmetry, we rigorously solve the Dirac equation with the q − deformed hyperbolic Pöschl-Teller potential plus a trigonometric Scarf II potential. According to the values of the deformation parameter q, four different cases are considered. For the two cases q ≥ 1 and q ≤ − 1 with 1 2 α ln q < r < + ∞ , the analytical energy spectra and the spinor wave functions associated with the l d − wave bound states are obtained using a suitable approximation to the centrifugal potential term. When 0 < q < 1 or −1 < q < 0, the spinor wave functions for the s − wave bound states are derived and we find that the quantization conditions are transcendental equations which can be solved numerically. The special case q = 0 is also discussed.

Approximate analytical solution of the Dirac equation with q -deformed hyperbolic Pöschl–Teller potential and trigonometric Scarf II non-central potential

Ade Kurniawan, Suparmi Suparmi, C. Cari

An approximate solution of the Dirac equation for a spin-1/2 particle under the influence of q -deformed hyperbolic Pöschl–Teller potential combined with trigonometric Scarf II non-central potential is studied analytically. It is assumed that the scalar potential equals the vector potential in order to obtain analytical solutions. Both radial and angular parts of the Dirac equation are solved using the Nikiforov–Uvarov method. A relativistic energy spectrum and the relation between quantum numbers can be obtained using this method. Several quantum wave functions corresponding to several states are also presented in terms of the Jacobi Polynomials.

Exact Solution of Dirac Equation for q-Deformed Trigonometric Scarf potential with q-Deformed Trigonometric Tensor Coupling Potential for Spin and Pseudospin Symmetries Using Romanovski Polynomial

Suparmi Suparmi, C. Cari, Utama Alan Deta +2 more

The bound state solutions of Dirac equation for q-deformed trigonometric Scarf potential with q-deformed trigonometric cotangent and cosecant tensor coupling potential under spin and pseudospin symmetric limits are investigated using Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics (SUSY QM) method. The new tensor potentials proposed is inspired by superpotential form in SUSY quantum mechanics. The Dirac equations for Scarf potential coupled by new tensor potential in the pseudospin and spin symmetric cases reduce to Schrodinger type equations for shape invariant potential since the proposed new potentials are equivalent to the superpotential of q-deformed trigonometric Scarf potential. The relativistic wave functions are exactly obtained by using SUSY operator method and the relativistic energy equation are exactly obtained by using SUSY method and the idea of shape invariance in the approximation scheme of centrifugal term. The new tensor potential causes the energy degeneracies is omit both for pseudospin and spin symmetric case.

Schrödinger equation solution for q-deformed Scarf II potential plus Pöschl-Teller potential and trigonometric Scarf potential

Fery Widiyanto, Suparmi Suparmi, C. Cari +2 more

The Schrödinger equation for q-deformed Scarf II potential plus Pöschl-Teller potential and trigonometric Scarf potential was solved using Asymptotic Iteration Method (AIM). The combination of three potentials was substituted into the Schrödinger equation, then we separated the three-dimensional Schrodinger equation into three one-dimensional differential equation, consist of the radial part, polar part and azimuth part. The radial, polar and azimuth part differential equations were solved by reducing them into the hypergeometric intermediaries equation, to further we resolved it using AIM. By using AIM, the energy equation and the variable separation constant equations, λ 1 for the polar part and λ 2 for the azimuth part were obtained, where both are interrelated between the quantum numbers. The value of energies were calculated numerically using Matlab software, where the increasing in the radial quantum number n r causes increase and decrease in the energy. Radial, polar and azimuth wave functions were defined as hypergeometric functions and were visualized using Matlab software. The results show that the disturbance of Poschl-Teller potential and trigonometric Scarf potential give effect in probability

Approximate Dirac solutions of a complex parity–time-symmetric Pöschl–Teller potential in view of spin and pseudospin symmetries

Sameer M Ikhdair, Majid Hamzavi

By employing an exponential-type approximation scheme to replace the centrifugal term, we have approximately solved the Dirac equation for a spin-1/2 particle subjected to complex parity–time-symmetric scalar and vector Pöschl–Teller (PT) potentials with arbitrary spin–orbit -wave states in view of spin and pseudospin (p-spin) symmetries. The real bound-state energy eigenvalue equation and the corresponding two-spinor components wave function expressible in terms of hypergeometric functions are obtained by means of wave function analysis. The spin- Dirac equation and the spin-0 Klein–Gordon equation with complex PT potentials share the same energy spectrum under the choice of (i.e. exact spin and p-spin symmetries).

l-states solutions for the q-deformed Scarf potential with path integrals formulation

Ahmed Diaf, Mohammed Hachama, M M’hamed Ezzine

Abstract In this paper, we solve the Feynman Kernel for the q-deformed hyperbolic Scarf potential for any ℓ -states. We propose an accurate generalization of the Pekeris approximation of the centrifugal term adapted to deformed potentials which allows to transform our potential to a solvable shifted modified Pöschl-Teller one. Analytical expressions of the energy spectrum and the normalized ℓ -state eigenfunctions are derived from the Green function. We evaluate and compare our results to the literature. Furthermore, we apply our method in chemical physics to derive the spectrum of some diatomic molecules. We obtained good results compared to state-of-the-art competing analytical and numerical methods.

Relativistic energies for the q-deformed Scarf potential with Feynman path integrals formulation

Ahmed Diaf, Mohammed Hachama

Abstract In this paper, the Dirac equation with the q-deformed Scarf potential for spin symmetry is solved for an arbitrary spin-orbit quantum number κ, in the presence of Coulomb-like potential tensor. Using the Feynman path integral formalism and the Pekeris approximation of the centrifugal term, we obtain the bound state energy eigenvalues and the associated spinor of the Dirac particle. Furthermore, this method is used to determine the spectrum of two diatomic molecules Li 2(61Π u ) and KRb(B −1Π). The obtained results are compared to the experimental and numerical ones.
