Abstract

This paper elucidates the origin of the most fundamental question in quantum mechanics i.e. what is the origin of wave theory of matter? This paper MUST be read together with our two other papers, arXiv:1409.7156 and J. Phys.: Cond. Matter Vol. 25, 382205 (2013), for proper appreciation of our ideas.

The origin of wave-particle duality of matter revealed

Swapnil R. Patil

This article describes the origin of wave-particle duality of matter which has led to the birth of quantum mechanics. We argue that the presence of exchange interaction among particles is indispensable for the manifestation of their 'wave-like' behavior. We intend to justify different attributes of their wave character via the exchange interaction. In short, the most fundamental (and unknown) issue in quantum mechanics has been clarified. This article MUST be read together with our other articles, arXiv:1409.7156 and J. Phys.: Cond. Matter 25, 382205 (2013) {the links to these are provided}, for proper appreciation of our ideas. This replacement is a linguistic refinement/elaboration of text of the manuscript and the suppl. info. (like a pedagogical description).

A Feasible Interpretation of the Wave-particle Duality Origin of Microscopic Matter Particles

Wei Fan

Classical mechanics describes the laws of motion in the macroscopic material world, while quantum mechanics describes the laws of motion in the microscopic material world that classical mechanics cannot explain, and achieves a highly accurate mathematical representation of the laws of microscopic physical motion. But even with such a successful theory, there is confusion about the probability wave. Therefore, this paper attempts to improve the physical definition of the conceptual basis of quantum mechanics, thus solving the confusion of quantum mechanical probability waves, and finally proposes a feasible interpretation of the wave-particle duality origin of microscopic matter particles.

What Is The Matter With de Broglie Waves

Constantinos Ragazas

The wave-particle duality of photons, as hypothesized by Einstein, was well accepted by the early 1920's. De Broglie's bold hypothesis in 1924, that all matter likewise has a wave-particle duality added further fuel to the fire in the development of Quantum Mechanics. It seared into the minds of physicists the wave-particle duality of Nature. Needless to say, this counter intuitive and bold assertion mystified the World beyond any sensible comprehension by common sense. The question often asked by ordinary people is what is the matter with de Broglie waves? We provide just this answer and demystify this 'matter' in this short paper.

The Origin of Wave Particle Duality

Wei Fan

what is the origin of wave-particle duality in quantum mechanics? This is an unsolved mystery in modern physics. In the latest research, I propose a possible explanation for the origin of wave particle duality. At the same time, I also proposed a feasible way to explain the origin of quantum and quantum entanglement.

An Effective Interpretation of Wave Function of Microscopic Particles

Change Zhang

Abstract Because the origin of the wave-particle duality of quantum mechanics has always been an unsolved problem in physics. Therefore, this article attempts to propose a feasible interpretation of the wave-particle duality origin of quantum mechanics in order to eliminate the confusion of probability waves in quantum mechanics.
