This paper is about studying the application of quantum computing to develop machine learning methods, in order to optimize the time of calculation for processing extensive amounts of data, thanks to the use of the quantum superposition state of information, which enables to apply parallel computation for processing different parts of data simultaneously. In fact, we introduce a quantum approach, using Grover's algorithm, to search for the optimal parameters of a perceptron classifier as a fundamental element for developing a quantum neural network, with the proposition of the training process and the comparison with the related works. The proposed approach enables yielding the optimal parameters of a perceptron classifier with one application of Grover's search method rather than applying the iterative approaches that were previously introduced in the literature.

With the advent of the era of big data, how to efficiently process data has become an urgent problem. Although classical machine learning algorithms are very mature in processing data, they require a large amount of data to complete the training process. Quantum machine learning uses the superposition, entanglement, parallelism and other characteristics of quantum computing to improve the performance of classical machine learning algorithms. At the same time, circuit optimization of the quantum classifier can reduce the computational complexity. This paper proposes an automatic optimization model of the classifier based on the variational quantum algorithm, which reduces the complexity of the parameter update process through the deep optimization of the core circuit. This model greatly speeds up the training process and has lower complexity than other quantum classifiers. In addition, a unique regularization method is used to avoid overfitting. The simulation results show that the classification of some typical data sets can achieve better classification results, and the training parameters and training speed are significantly better than other quantum classifiers. Finally, the robustness of the classifier is further verified in the presence of noise.
There has been remarkable development in the data-driven decision-making domain of Artificial Intelligence (AI). However, the complexity of the AI models and the amount of data have shown some drawbacks with conventional computing models. One of the interdisciplinary branches of quantum computing and machine learning is Quantum Machine Learning (QML), which is a combination of quantum computing and machine learning and relies on the unique characteristics of quantum computing, such as superposition, entanglement, and quantum parallelism, to enhance the performance of the machines. This review provides a comprehensive description of theory, architectures, algorithms, implementational approaches, applications, problems, and future directions of QML. The core concepts of quantum computing and machine learning are introduced. Different representations of quantum states, quantum data encoding, variational quantum circuits, quantum kernel methods, and hybrid quantum or classical optimization are discussed. Significant QML algorithms like Quantum Support Vector Machines, Quantum Neural Networks, Variational Quantum Eigen solvers, Quantum Approximate Optimization Algorithms, and Quantum reinforcement learning are explored and evaluated for computational power and applications. The scaling up of quantum computer sizes, data encoding overhead, complexity of optimizations, benchmarking, and decoherence are discussed in detail, as well as recent developments in fault-tolerant quantum computing and hybrid learning approaches. Finally, a conceptual framework is given to demonstrate the unification of classical computation and quantum computation to intelligently process data. This review demonstrates how QML could be the next-generation computational method to accelerate scientific advancements and enable new advanced AI technologies.
Quantum computing is a radical new computational paradigm based on the principles of quantum mechanics.Since it can utilize superposition, entanglement, and interference, it is considered as a potential solution to a variety of high-dimensional, computationally intensive problems that still cannot be solved by classical systems.ML, which is more and more dependent on HPC infrastructures, may gain a quantum computational model as a tremendous boon that can bring about quicker training, more expressive representations, and better optimization. This paper offers a thorough, academic, and conceptually demanding study of the QML fusion. After briefly summarizing the fundamental postulates of quantum mechanics, the paper reviews quantum data encoding strategies, quantum parallelism, continuousvariable representations, and Hamiltonian-based modeling. Some of the central quantum algorithms -such as Grover's search, quantum linear-system solvers, quantum annealing, and qRAM -are introduced at a conceptual level, with only a few essential equations being kept. The article also discusses contemporary QML approaches such as quantum support vector machines, quantum neural networks, quantum clustering, and hybrid optimization methods.Issues like noise, decoherence, and qubit limitations are also dealt with critically. The goal is to describe the state of the art in QML, evaluate its current capabilities, and estimate possible future research and application directions.
Quantum Machine Learning refers to the interdisciplinary area of research, blending principles from quantum physics and machine learning that can process information on quantum computers. Quantum machine learning (QML) intentions to exploit the superposition (qubit can exist in multiple states) property and other effects of quantum mechanics for enhanced efficiency and speed in specific machine learning computations, promising exponential-power superiority in particular computations. This framework serves as a foundational structure for implementing quantum neural networks, allowing for further experimentation and growth in quantum machine learning applications. It highlights the quantum circuits to process and learn from data in a mode distinct from classical neural networks. As the retrieve of quantum computing grows, such frameworks can be adapted and expanded to explore more sophisticated quantum algorithms and architectures. In the circumstances of Quantum Neural Networks, gradient descents is used in minimizing cost or loss function by iteratively adjusting the variational parameters based onto the gradient of the loss with admire to those parameters. The output that indicates the process of installing the Quantum information science Kit (Qiskit) library in Python specifically version 3.7 along with its dependencies.
By exploiting the properties of superposition and entanglement found in quantum systems Quantum Computation has been applied to the design of algorithms considerably more efficient than the known classical ones. Known examples are the Shor's factoring algorithm and the Grover's search algorithm. This paper investigates the possibility of employing Quantum Computing techniques to the design of learning algorithms for neural networks tasks such as pattern recognition. We propose a quantum learning algorithm for neural networks where all patterns of the training set are presented concurrently in superposition. In the process we propose a novel model of a quantum weightless neural node. The algorithm is a combination of a quantum search algorithm, a probabilistic quantum memory and a quantum neural network.
