Abstract

In this paper, based on the mechanism of entanglement transfer, we present and analyze several schemes to produce entanglement between indirectly coupled modes in an opto-magnomechanical system coupled with an additional auxiliary cavity. We mainly focus on the research how the entanglement originating from optomechanical or magnomechanical entanglement sources distributes to the indirectly coupled subsystems under weak-coupling and strong-coupling conditions. For the latter, more abundant indirect entanglement can be generated and optomechanical entanglement source can result in the strongest indirect entanglement compared with other cases. Meanwhile, the robustness of the indirect entanglement against the environmental temperature and the preparation of genuine tripartite entanglement for the indirectly coupled modes are also taken into account.

Coherent Feedback Control of Indirectly Coupled Mode Multipartite Entanglement in a Cavity Opto‐Magnomechanical System

Amjad Sohail, Mohamed Amazioug, S. K. Singh +3 more

Abstract This study is based on a theoretical proposal for the generation and enhancement of multipartite entanglements of indirectly coupled modes using the coherent feedback loop scheme. The coherent feedback‐control mechanism that is presented here significantly improves the bipartite and tripartite entanglements among the indirectly coupled modes. The numerical study shows that the entanglements can be sufficiently tuned by the effective couplings and the reflective parameter of the beam splitter. In addition, the robustness and survival of the generated entanglement in the proposed system have shown to be significantly dependent on the reflectivity parameter. The existence of a genuine tripartite entanglement state in the dynamical state of the system is proven. Finally, the effect of the reflective parameter on three different tripartite entanglements is observed. The findings pave the way for tuning and enhancing multipartite entanglements of indirectly coupled modes in current cavity Opto‐magnomechanical systems and may have various vital applications in quantum information.

Distant bipartite entanglement generation in a hybrid opto-magnomechanical system

Mulugeta Tadesse, Tesfay Gebremariam Tesfahannes, Tewodros Yirgashewa Darge +2 more

In this work, we present a hybrid cavity opto-magnomechanical system to generate distant bipartite entanglement between different quantum carriers. Accordingly, the system consists of two cavity photons, a phonon of yttrium iron garnet (YIG), a magnon, and a phonon of membrane. Specifically, the two cavities are coupled through an optical fiber, and one of the optical cavities consists of a membrane coupled with the cavity photon through radiation pressure force. While the other cavity contains a YIG, the magnon mode connects to the cavity photon via magnetic dipole interaction and, simultaneously, couples to the mechanical resonator of the YIG through magnetostrictive interaction. We show that entanglement generation can be realized under indirectly coupled bipartitions for parameters and detunings within appropriate regimes. Furthermore, for various bipartitions, we also obtain appropriate cavity and magnon detuning values for a considerable remote entanglement. Moreover, the generation of distant bipartite entanglements and entanglement transfer between subsystems is predominantly influenced by the coupling strength. Remarkably, the distant bipartite entanglement is strongly contrary to the environmental temperature. Thus, optimizing the system’s parameters allows for the maximum possible entanglement between various quantum carriers. We believe our results could provide more stable bipartite entanglements and serve as a potential quantum interface to realize particularly long-range entanglement transfers.

High-efficiency entanglement of microwave fields in cavity opto-magnomechanical systems

Ke Di, Shuai Tan, Liyong Wang +4 more

We demonstrate a scheme to realize high-efficiency entanglement of two microwave fields in a dual opto-magnomechanical system. The magnon mode simultaneously couples with the microwave cavity mode and phonon mode via magnetic dipole interaction and magnetostrictive interaction, respectively. Meanwhile, the phonon mode couples with the optical cavity mode via radiation pressure. Each magnon mode and optical cavity mode adopts a strong red detuning driving field to activate the beam splitter interaction. Therefore, the entangled state generated by the injected two-mode squeezed light in optical cavities can be eventually transferred into two microwave cavities. A stationary entanglement E a 1 a 2 =0.54 is obtained when the input two-mode squeezed optical field has a squeezing parameter r = 1. The entanglement E a 1 a 2 increases as the squeezing parameter r increases, and it shows the flexible tunability of the system. Meanwhile, the entanglement survives up to an environmental temperature about 385 mK, which shows high robustness of the scheme. The proposed scheme provides a new mechanism to generate entangled microwave fields via magnons, which enables the degree of the prepared microwave entanglement to a more massive scale. Our result is useful for applications which require high entanglement of microwave fields like quantum radar, quantum navigation, quantum teleportation, quantum wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) network, etc.

Enhanced entanglement and quantum steering of directly and indirectly coupled modes in a magnomechanical system

Amjad Sohail, Rizwan Ahmed, Rida Zainab +1 more

Abstract This study is based on a theoretical proposal for quantum steering, non-locality, and entanglement in a two microwave cavities based magnomechanical system. The system is composed of two microwave (MW) cavity mode photons, phonons associated with mechanical mode and a magnon mode. We have employed a standard damping approach and found that steerability and entanglements among different bipartite subsystems strongly depend upon the detuning of indirectly coupled cavity mode and effective magnon detuning. One/two-way quantum Steering and non-local correlation have been found in the system for different choices of bipartitions. In addition, entanglement generated in the system enhances and has shown to be more robust against the thermal effects, as compared with the earlier studies. Interestingly, we have shown that the magnomechanical entanglements among different bipartitions have a complementary relation due to the transfer entanglement. This shows an additional insight into the system dynamics which shows that there exists a ‘tie-up’ relationship among these bipartitions. The present magnomechanical system will open new perspectives in quantum tasks that demand the entanglement of microwave cavity fields.

Distant entanglement via photon hopping in a coupled cavity magnomechanical system

Amjad Sohail, Jia‐Xin Peng, Abdelkader Hidki +2 more

We theoretically propose a scheme to generate distant bipartite entanglement between various subsystems in coupled magnomechanical systems where both the microwave cavities are coupled through single photon hopping coupling strength Γ. Each cavity contains a magnon mode and phonon mode and this gives six excitation modes in our model Hamiltonian which are cavity-1 photons, cavity-2 photons, magnon and phonon in cavity-1, and magnon and phonon in cavity-2. We found that significant bipartite entanglement exists between indirectly coupled subsystems in coupled microwave cavities for an appropriate set of parameters regime. Moreover, we also obtain suitable cavity and magnon detuning parameters for a significant distant bipartite entanglement in different bipartitions. In addition, it can be seen that a single photon hopping parameter significantly affects both the degree as well as the transfer of quantum entanglement between various bipartitions. Hence, our present study related to coupled microwave cavity magnomechanical configuration will open new perspectives in coherent control of various quantum correlations including quantum state transfer among macroscopic quantum systems.
