Abstract

In today’s rapid widespread of digital technologies into all live aspects to enhance efficiency and productivity on the one hand and on the other hand ensure customer engagement, personal data counterfeiting has become a major concern for businesses and end-users. One solution to ensure data security is encryption, where keys are central. There is therefore a need to find robusts key generation implementation that is effective, inexpensive and non-invasive for protecting and preventing data counterfeiting. In this paper, we use the theory of electromagnetic wave propagation to generate encryption keys.

A Secure Method of Communication in Conventional Cryptography using Quantum Key Distribution

Chunduru Anilkumar, Bhavani Gorle, Kinthali Sowmya

Security knowledge is one of the foremost challenges in the present day. When the topic is about Information security, the concept of cryptography comes into the picture. Every day, people and organizations use cryptography to maintain the confidentiality of their communications and data as well as to preserve their privacy. Today, one of the most successful methods used by businesses to protect their storage systems, whether at rest or in transit, is cryptography. Yet, cryptography is an effective technique to secure the data, the modern technology can break the cryptographic techniques. But some data encryption algorithms are several times stronger than today's conventional cryptography and can be constructed using quantum computing. They are "Quantum Cryptographic Algorithms ". Quantum cryptography uses the rules of quantum physics instead of classical encryption, which is based on mathematics, to protect and transmit data in a way that cannot be intercepted. Quantum key distribution is the greatest illustration of quantum cryptography and offers a safe solution to the key exchange issue. The proposed work deals with quantum cryptography and mainly focuses on how the quantum cryptographic algorithm is more secure than traditional cryptography.

Research on Quantum Key, Distribution Key and Post-quantum Cryptography Key Applied Protocols for Data Science and Web Security

Kyuseok Shim, B.H. Kim, Wonhyuk Lee

Currently, data security is one of the most concerning research topics. The traditional RSA encryption system has become vulnerable to quantum algorithms such as Grover and Shor, leading to the development of new security systems for the quantum. As a result, quantum cryptography is gaining importance as a key element of future communication security. This study focuses on quantum key distribution protocols for data quantum encryption, aiming to achieve quantum robustness in all stages of quantum cryptography communication processes. Quantum cryptography communication requires robust quantum encryption not only between end-nodes but also between all components. Therefore, this study demonstrates the process of end-to-end data quantum encryption and proves the overall quantum robustness in this process.

There have been tremendous developments in the field of cryptography. Quantum computers is one among them. Solving complex mathematical calculations are made easy using quantum computers. Introducing quantum physics into cryptography led to growth of quantum cryptography. Quantum cryptography is a technique of using photons to generate a cryptographic key and transmit it to a receiver using a suitable communication channel. Quantum cryptography uses quantum mechanical principles such as Heisenberg Uncertainty principle and photon polarisation principle to perform cryptographic tasks towards providing an effective security system. This study describes on to generate a key which is then converted into Quantum bits (Qubits) and send to the receiver securely.

Enhancing Secure Communication System Using Post-Quantum Cryptography

G. Ramalakshmi, T. Vijayalakshmi

In modern computer networks, cryptography is vital for preserving privacy, protecting sensitive information, and securing online communication. The mathematical problems that conventional encryption algorithms such as RSA and ECC depend on are tough for standard computers to tackle. Nonetheless, these traditional methods could be vulnerable to quantum assaults due to the rapid advancement of quantum computing. Post-quantum cryptography (PQC) refers to cryptographic methods designed to be secure against both classical and quantum computers. These algorithms rely on mathematical challenges believed to be resistant to quantum attacks, such as multivariate polynomial, hash, lattice, and code-based problems. This paper examines the necessity for post-quantum cryptography, the weaknesses of existing cryptographic systems, and the various categories of post-quantum algorithms.
