In order to enhance the security of encrypted images, a new quantum image encryption algorithm is proposed. This algorithm combines Chen's hyper-chaotic system with Double-random Phase Encoding (DRPE). The pixel values of the original quantum image are diffused using DRPE, while the pixel positions are scrambled through Cyclic Translation (CT). The hyper-chaotic sequences generated by Chen's hyper-chaotic system control the scrambling and diffusion operations. Numerical simulations and theoretical analyses have shown that this algorithm is highly effective in resisting illegal attacks. The encrypted image generated by this algorithm exhibits lower pixel correlation and more evenly distributed histogram. Overall, the proposed algorithm represents a robust and secure approach for image encryption

In order to improve the security of traditional encryption systems, hyper-chaotic systems are introduced into the field of quantum image encryption. Firstly, the image is bitwise XOR by He fractional order hyper-chaotic Rabinovich system, and then the color image is represented as a quantum superposition state. The quantum image is scrambled by the unitary matrix generated by Logistic hyper-chaotic sequence, and then a hyper-chaotic sequence is generated to randomly replace the red, green and blue primary colors of each pixel to achieve the purpose of quantum image encryption. Finally, numerical simulation experiments are carried out on a computer. The experimental results show that the histogram of the encrypted image is flatter and even, the pixels are evenly distributed between 0 and 255, the correlation between adjacent pixels of the image is low. The average correlation coefficients of the red, green, and blue pixels of the encrypted image are 0.0012, 0.0025, and 0.0018. The system has high key sensitivity and can effectively resist statistical analysis attacks. The algorithm has good security and robustness.
According to the higher security of higher-dimensional chaotic system, a new scheme of quantum image encryption and decryption based on Lorenz hyper-chaotic system is proposed. The encryption process is mainly divided into two parts: the location information scrambling process and the color information replacement process. In the location information scrambling process, the pseudo-random sequence obtained by the Lorenz hyper-chaotic system is first sorted to obtain the corresponding position index sequence, and then the rows and columns of the position information are scrambled by the index sequence. In the process of color replacement, the change of pixel value is firstly diffused to each pixel through chaotic sequence, and then the information of each pixel is confused, so as to realize the process of color information replacement. Experimental analysis shows that the encryption scheme in this paper has a good effect.
In the wake of the information security era, ensuring the privacy, accuracy, and reliability of images has become imperative. In this paper, a quantum image encryption method combining quantum Arnold transform and a hyper 5D chaotic system is devised. Furthermore, first, a nonlinear color quantization model (NCQI) is used to convert digital images in standard RGB format into quantum color images. Then, based on the size of the converted quantum color image, the corresponding encryption key is generated using the hyper 5D chaotic system. In the encryption stage, we use the key to encrypt the converted quantum color image. This process entails two principal steps: First, we use quantum Arnold transform to scramble the pixel positions in the image and, subsequently, diffuse the pixel values through a carefully designed cyclic shift strategy to achieve the preliminary encryption of the image. To further strengthen the encryption security, we use a quantum rotation gate to perform quantum rotation transformation on the color channel of each pixel point in the encrypted image separately. These well-designed encryption processes, in succession, significantly enhance the security of the image. This paper provides the corresponding quantum circuit design and validates both the efficacy and security of the quantum image encryption scheme through simulation experimental results.
This paper explores a double quantum images representation (DNEQR) model that allows for simultaneous storage of two digital images in a quantum superposition state. Additionally, a new type of two-dimensional hyperchaotic system based on sine and logistic maps is investigated, offering a wider parameter space and better chaotic behavior compared to the sine and logistic maps. Based on the DNEQR model and the hyperchaotic system, a double quantum images encryption algorithm is proposed. Firstly, two classical plaintext images are transformed into quantum states using the DNEQR model. Then, the proposed hyperchaotic system is employed to iteratively generate pseudo-random sequences. These chaotic sequences are utilized to perform pixel value and position operations on the quantum image, resulting in changes to both pixel values and positions. Finally, the ciphertext image can be obtained by qubit-level diffusion using two XOR operations between the position-permutated image and the pseudo-random sequences. The corresponding quantum circuits are also given. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed scheme ensures the security of the images during transmission, improves the encryption efficiency, and enhances anti-interference and anti-attack capabilities.
In order to further improve the security and efficiency of quantum image encryption, a three-layer encryption scheme for quantum color images based on 6D hyperchaos is proposed for the improved quantum representation model. The sequences generated by the 6D hyperchaotic system are applied to each layer of image encryption as keys. First, the quantum Fibonacci matrix is used to scramble the pixel value positions of the image to achieve the spatial scrambling of the quantum image; then, the position exchange of red, green, and blue channels and the bit-level cycle shift of pixel value are carried out alternately to realize the bit-level scrambling of quantum images; Finally, the XOR operation is performed on the quantum image whose position has been scrambled to realize the bit-level diffusion of the quantum image and obtain the final encrypted image. Simulation results show that the encryption algorithm is highly sensitive to the initial key, and the pixel values of the encrypted image are evenly distributed. In addition, quantum circuits are designed to implement the image encryption steps of each layer.
In encryption technology, image scrambling is a common processing operation. This paper proposes a quantum version of the 3D Mobius scrambling transform based on the QRCI model, which changes not only the position of pixels but also the gray values. The corresponding quantum circuits are devised. Furthermore, an encryption scheme combining the quantum 3D Mobius transform with the 3D hyper-chaotic Henon map is suggested to protect the security of image information. To facilitate subsequent processing, the RGB color image is first represented with QRCI. Then, to achieve the pixel-level permutation effect, the quantum 3D Mobius transform is applied to scramble bit-planes and pixel positions. Ultimately, to increase the diffusion effect, the scrambled image is XORed with a key image created by the 3D hyper-chaotic Henon map to produce the encrypted image. Numerical simulations and result analyses indicate that our designed encryption scheme is secure and reliable. It offers better performance in the aspect of key space, histogram variance, and correlation coefficient than some of the latest algorithms.
