Quantum computing-Enhanced AI systems for advanced business intelligence applications

Itunu Taiwo, Adeyinka Ogunbajo, Adefemi Quddus Abidola

The convergence of quantum computing and artificial intelligence represents a transformative technological paradigm with unprecedented potential for business intelligence applications. This comprehensive review critically examines the revolutionary capabilities of quantum computing-enhanced AI systems in addressing complex computational challenges across multiple business domains. Through systematic analysis of emerging research, implementation frameworks, and interdisciplinary case studies, we investigate how quantum computing's unique computational mechanisms can fundamentally reshape data analysis, strategic decision-making, and predictive modeling. Our comprehensive examination reveals that quantum AI systems demonstrate remarkable potential to reduce computational complexity by up to 90%, enhance predictive accuracy by 60-75%, and provide unprecedented insights across financial, logistical, and strategic business intelligence domains. The research synthesizes evidence from multiple technological domains, highlighting the transformative potential of quantum-enhanced AI in solving previously intractable computational problems. By exploring technological capabilities, implementation challenges, and future research directions, this review provides a critical framework for understanding the emerging intersection of quantum computing and artificial intelligence in advanced business intelligence applications.

Quantum Artificial Intelligence with Qiskit

Andreas Wichert

Quantum Artificial Intelligence (QAI) is a new interdisciplinary research field that combines quantum computing with Artificial Intelligence (AI), aiming to use the unique properties of quantum computers to enhance the capabilities of AI systems. Quantum Artificial Intelligence with Qiskit provides a cohesive overview of the field of QAI, providing the tools for readers to create and manipulate quantum programs on devices as accessible as a laptop computer. Introducing symbolical quantum algorithms, sub-symbolical quantum algorithms, and quantum Machine Learning (ML) algorithms, this book explains each process step by step with associated Qiskit listings. All examples are additionally available for download at https://github.com/andrzejwichert/qai. Allowing readers to learn the basic concepts of quantum computing on their home computers, this book is accessible to both the general readership as well as students and instructors of courses relating to computer science and AI.

Quantum Computing in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: A Human-Centered Engineering Framework for Hybrid Intelligence

Vikrant Salar

This technical note presents a human-centered engineering framework for understanding quantum computing in the age of artificial intelligence. It argues that quantum computing should not be treated as magic, hype, or a universal replacement for classical computing, but as a disciplined computational model grounded in probability, linear algebra, measurement, physical systems, and resource constraints. The report connects quantum foundations with artificial intelligence, semiconductor systems, post-quantum security, scientific simulation, engineering education, and civilization-scale technology planning. It proposes a practical suitability framework for deciding when a quantum-AI approach is technically justified, resource-feasible, explainable, and socially useful. This report is a concise scholarly companion to the broader book project Quantum Computing in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Engineering the Next Civilization by Vikrant Salar, Founder & Principal of SALAR Technologies LLC. It is intended for researchers, engineers, educators, technical founders, policy-minded readers, and reviewers interested in quantum computing, AI-assisted science, hybrid computing systems, post-quantum cryptography, and responsible technology development.
