The continuity equation and its applications in phase space quantum mechanics

Jaromir Tosiek, Luca Campobasso

A quantum phase space version of the continuity equation for systems with internal degrees of freedom is derived. The $1$ -- D Dirac equation is introduced and its phase space counterpart is found. The phase space representation of free motion and of scattering in a nonrelativistic and relativistic case for setups with internal degrees of freedom is discussed and illustrated. Properties of Wigner functions of unbound states are analysed.

The HMW effect in Noncommutative Quantum Mechanics

Jianhua Wang, Kang Li B

The HMW effect in non-commutative quantum mechanics is studied. By solving the Dirac equations on non-commutative (NC) space and non-commutative phase space, we obtain topological HMW phase on NC space and NC phase space respectively, where the additional terms related to the space-space and momentum-momentum non-commutativity are given explicitly. On the Symplectic Dirac Equation

R. G. G. Amorim, S. C. Ulhoa, Edilberto Oliveira Silva

"Symplectic unitary representations for the Poincar ́ e group are studied. The formalism is based on the noncommutative structure of the star–product, and using group theory approach as a guide, a consistent physical theory in phase space is constructed. The state of a quan- tum mechanics system is described by a quasi-probability amplitude that is in association with the Wigner function. In this context, we derive the Klein–Gordon and Dirac equations. As an application, we study the Dirac equation with electromagnetic interaction in phase space."
