Abstract

Abstract The dynamic analysis of quantum coherence of a polarized 1/2 − XXZ Heisenberg spins chain model with modulated Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction and applied magnetic field, is investigated using quantum renormalization group approaches. In a thermodynamic limits, we derived the coherence factor and the monogamy of entanglement of a bipartite and tripartite states of the modulated system. We find that with increasing the anisotropy factor and decreasing the Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya factor Dz, the quantum coherence and the monogamy of entanglement decrease for the considered model of antiferromagnetic materials and exhibits non-analyticity around the critical point △ = 1 of the anisotropy factor. Note that, the decreasing is more important in the weak regime of the external magnetic field when applied. In addition, we perceive that the non-analytical behavior around the critical value of the anisotropy factor translate quantum phase transition from spin liquid to Néel phase and vice-versa depending on whether spin is localised on an even or odd site in the chain. The application of an external electric tens play a role in stabilizing the spins in preferred orientations and reenforce correlations beneficial for ferroelectricity that opens a route to switch magnetoelectricity with electric polarazation and vice-versa.

Dynamical dephasing of bipartite and tripartite quantum coherence of spin-1/2 XXZ Heisenberg model in a renormalization group approach

Georges Collince Fouokeng, I Nsangou, F. Kuate Fodouop +2 more

Abstract The dynamical dephasing of a bipartite and tripartite quantum coherence in spin-1/2 Heisenberg model, driven by an applied magnetic field, in the presence of Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction is investigated. The system is renormalized through the Kadanoof’s blocks approach. It is observed for both bipartite and tripartite schemes that by increasing the size of the system, the quantum coherence measure show an abrupt change at a quantum critical point (QCP). A further increase of the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya coupling parameter affect the QCP, causing the dynamical dephasing which is the signature of second order quantum phase transition. The displacement of the QCP reduces the Quantum coherence of the system and can be controlled by the external magnetic field strength. Moreover, in a given range of Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction strength and magnetic field, the monogamous and polygamous nature of quantum coherence is related to the size of the system.

Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction and anisotropy effects on the tripartite quantum discord of Heisenberg XY model

Wajid Joyia, Khalid Khan

In this paper, we address the tripartite quantum discord for the Heisenberg XY chain with the Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya (DM) interaction using the quantum renormalization-group (QRG) method. In thermodynamic limit, like the entanglement, the tripartite discord exhibits the quantum phase transition (QPT) between the spin-fluid and the Neel phases. The effect of the DM interaction and the anisotropy on the features of the tripartite quantum discord has been probed. It is noted that the DM interaction brings the critical point earlier and affects heavily with the size of the system. Moreover, the system requires a larger number of the iterations to achieve the QPT for the tripartite quantum discord as compared to the entanglement.

Quantum phase transition and entanglement in XXZ Heisenberg spin chain

N. Hachem, El Mostafa Jalal, M. Salama +2 more

Abstract Using the quantum renormalization group approach, we have investigated the entanglement and critical behavior of an anisotropic XXZ Heisenberg spin chain. The resolution of the quantum renormalization equations yields stable and unstable fixed points, corresponding respectively to the phases and critical point of the system. It is shown that a quantum phase transition exists at a critical anisotropy parameter , separating the Néel phase from the spin-fluid phase. Then, the concurrence between two blocks of sites and the quantum coherence have been calculated and presented for various renormalization group iterations. In the thermodynamic limit, i.e. , for higher renormalization steps, the concurrence and coherence exhibit two different saturated values in the two regions separated by Δ c . The first derivative of concurrence diverges at the critical point as the size of the chain increases, showing nonanalytic behavior. Moreover, the scaling behavior has been examined near the critical point with some universal exponential scaling laws.

Heisenberg spin- 12 XXZ chain in the presence of electric and magnetic fields

Pradeep K. Thakur, P. Durganandini

We study the interplay of electric and magnetic order in the one-dimensional Heisenberg spin-$\frac{1}{2}$ XXZ chain with large Ising anisotropy in the presence of the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interaction and with longitudinal and transverse magnetic fields, interpreting the DM interaction as a coupling between the local electric polarization and an external electric field. We obtain the ground state phase diagram using the density matrix renormalization group method and compute various ground state quantities like the magnetization, staggered magnetization, electric polarization and spin correlation functions, etc. In the presence of both longitudinal and transverse magnetic fields, there are three different phases corresponding to a gapped N\'eel phase with antiferromagnetic (AF) order, gapped saturated phase, and a critical incommensurate gapless phase. The external electric field modifies the phase boundaries but does not lead to any new phases. Both external magnetic fields and electric fields can be used to tune between the phases. We also show that the transverse magnetic field induces a vector chiral order in the N\'eel phase (even in the absence of an electric field) which can be interpreted as an electric polarization in a direction parallel to the AF order.

Total quantum coherence close to the quantum critical points in the XXZ model with Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction

Cheng‐Cheng Liu, Shen-Chuan Cen, Zili Liu +5 more

Abstract In this paper, by using the quantum renormalization-group method, we study the relation between total quantum coherence based on l 1 norm and quantum phase transition in the XXZ model with Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya (DM) interaction. Our findings reveal a distribution relation of quantum coherence in this model, i.e. the value of the quantum coherence of a three-site block state is equal to the sum of its reduced state coherence, and this characteristic can be generalized to a multipartite system. Meanwhile, because of favoring the alignment of spins, the anisotropy suppresses the quantum coherence; on the other hand, by creating the quantum fluctuations, the DM interaction can effectively enhance the value of quantum coherence. Additionally, after several iterations of the renormalization, quantum coherence of the whole block state can form two saturated values, which are related to two different phases: spin-fluid phase and Néel phase. Furthermore, we discover that the total quantum coherence of the block–block state obeys the nonanalytic and scaling properties with the quantum coherence exponent associated with correlation length.

Renormalization of Tripartite Entanglement in Spin Systems with Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya Interaction

Meng Qin, Li Wang, Bili Wang +3 more

Quantum entanglement represents a fundamental feature of quantum many-body systems. We combine tripartite entanglement with quantum renormalization group theory to study the quantum critical phenomena. The Ising model and the Heisenberg X X Z model in the presence of the Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction are adopted as the research objects. We identify that the tripartite entanglement can signal the critical point. The derivative of tripartite entanglement shows singularity as the spin chain size increases. Furthermore, the intuitive scaling behavior of the system selected is studied and the result allows us to precisely quantify the correlation exponent by utilizing the power law .
