First, some superluminal phenomena are introduced. Next, based on the complete special relativity which includes the generalized Lorentz transformation (GLT) and superluminal in the spacelike interval, we search contradiction between the uncertainty principle in quantum mechanics and strict classification of the timelike-spacelike intervals in special relativity. Third, we propose new interpretation of the duality in the double-slit experiment that is the particle-wave duality corresponds to the timelike and spacelike intervals, respectively. Such the duality is mutually exclusive and complementary. Fourth, we derive the new LT and GLT for very small space and time, and research possible unification of quantum theory and complete special relativity.

Based on quantum entanglement and corresponding quantum communication, first we research a simple superluminal entangled communication scheme, whose key is to establish two mutually entangled particles or devices A and B. We observe and control the information of A position, then can know the corresponding results of the other B. This is not to send directly information each other. It may be superluminal. Next, in special relativity we provided that there are necessarily two symmetrical topological structures separated by the light-cone, which includes the generalized Lorentz transformation (GLT) for the spacelike interval, in which phase velocity is superluminal. This complete special relativity is base of this scheme, and should agree and test GLT. Further, it may be developed to the extensive special relativity, in which only
First, based on the uncertainty principle in quantum theory and new generalized uncertainty principle, we research uncertain relations of entropy, information and thermodynamics, and propose the speed of light and some fundamental constants should be uncertain. Next, in the quantum entangled states, velocities of different phases may be superluminal, and obey possibly general Lorentz transformation (GLT). Third, we search its possible development in superstring, and the extensive quantum theory, various matters and different phases, etc. Fourth, the duality exists probably only under interactions. Some nonlinear quantum equations and wave equations have soliton solutions, which correspond to particles. This is mathematical description of wave-particle duality. Fifth, based on the soliton-chaos double solutions of nonlinear equations, we propose the field-particle duality, and field (wave)-quantum-chaos ternary. Sixth, the irreversibility and statistics are discussed, and we derive operators of entropy, etc. New measuring technology and some developed theories already challenge the uncertainty principle and duality, which may not be held under certain conditions, and must be modified and developed.

In Hawking’s view physics has been broken up into many partial theories, while the ultimate goal of physicists is to unify them. The two basic theories of 20th-century physics, relativity theory and quantum theory, are based on completely different logical prerequisites and exactly separate: matter is described as particles in relativity theory and as waves in quantum mechanics. Here, based on the identical logical prerequisites, we unify Einstein’s special relativity (SR) and de Broglie’s matter-wave theory (MWT) into the theory of dualistic relativity (DR), taking a significant step toward the unification of relativity and quantum mechanics. From the definition of time, we derive the Lorentz transformation in differential form and establish the theory of DR, which generalizes the wave-particle duality of matter motion, and uniformly derives Einstein’s formula E=mc2, Planck’s equation E=hf, and de Broglie’s relation λ=h/p. From the logical prerequisite completely different from Einstein’s hypothesis of the invariance of light speed and along the logical path completely different from Einstein’s SR, we have deduced the whole theoretical system of Einstein’s SR and de Broglie’s MWT. In the theory of DR, the two great formulae originally separated, Einstein’s formula E=mc2 and Planck’s equation E=hf, become a pair of twin formulae unified in an identical theoretical system.
The conceptual foundations of the special and general theories of relativity differ greatly from those of quantum mechanics. Yet in all cases investigated so far, quantum mechanics seems to be consistent with the principles of relativity theory, when interpreted carefully. In this paper I report on a new investigation of this consistency using a model of a quantum clock to measure time intervals; a topic central to all metric theories of gravitation, and to cosmology. Results are presented for two important scenarios related to the foundations of relativity theory: the speed of light as a limiting velocity and the weak equivalence principle (WEP). These topics are investigated in the light of claims of superluminal propagation in quantum tunnelling and possible violations of WEP. Special attention is given to the role of highly non-classical states. I find that by using a definition of time intervals based on a precise model of a quantum clock, ambiguities are avoided and, at least in the scenarios investigated, there is consistency with the theory of relativity, albeit with some subtleties.
Applying the fact that guided photons inside a waveguide can be treated as massive particles, one can study the superluminality of evanescent modes via showing that a massive particle can propagate over a spacelike interval, which corresponds to quantum tunneling effects. For this purpose, we treat the particle as a quantum reference frame, while attach an inertia observer to a classical reference frame, and then quantize the formulae for the Lorentz transformation between the quantum and classical reference frames, from which we obtain the conclusion that, owing to the Heisenberg's uncertainty relation, the particle can propagate over a spacelike interval.
