Abstract

We developed a quantum scheme of two atoms (TAs) and field initially in a negative binomial state (NBS). We displayed and discussed the physical implications of the obtained results in terms of the physical parameters of the model. By considering that the TAs were initially prepared in a maximally entangled state, and that the single-mode field was in the NBS, the dynamics of quantum phenomena such TAs-field entanglement, TAs entanglement, and parameter estimation were examined. We found that the quantum quantifiers exhibited randomly quasi-periodic and periodic oscillations that depended on the success probability, photon number transition, and the intensity-dependent coupling effect. Furthermore, we analyzed the connection between the dynamical behavior of the quantifiers. This system can be compared with some other ones that are being discussed in the literature, in order to realize the quantum entanglement, and to control the precision of the parameter estimation.

Photon statistics and non-local properties of a two-qubit-field system in the excited negative binomial distribution

Abdullah M. Almarashi, S. Abdel‐Khalek, Debasis Kundu

In this paper, a quantum scheme for a two-qubit system (2QS) and field initially prepared in the excited negative binomial distribution is presented. The field photon statistics is detected from the evolution of the Mandel parameter, while the evolution of von Neumann entropy detects the nonlocal correlation between the 2QS and radiation field. The concurrence is used to detect the qubit-qubit entanglement during the time evolution. The dynamical properties of single-qubit and two-qubit quantum Fisher information are investigated. We visualize the number of photon excitations on the field in negative binomial states with influence of photon success probability. A connection is provided between the dynamical behaviors of these statistical quantities. We have found that the proposed quantities are strongly influenced by the number of excited photons of the field in negative binomial states and photon success probability.

Entanglement and atomic inversion for two two-level atoms interacting with an intensity-dependent quantized field

Abdallah A. Nahla, D. A. M. Abo-Kahla, Merfat H. Raddadi

Our aim is to present an analytical solution for the quantum optics model that has two two-level atoms interacting together and interacting with an intensity-dependent quantized field. The quantized field is initially in binomial state and based on the Lamb–Dicke parameter and associated Laguerre polynomials. While two atoms are symmetric and initially in superposition state. Besides, the quantum entanglement between the quantum system components under the effect of the parameters of detuning, coupling, binomial, Lamb–Dicke and the initial state of the model is discussed. Several phenomena have been clearly observed and analyzed, such as entanglement sudden death (ESD) followed by entanglement sudden birth (ESB) in the concurrence and the negativity curves, and long-lived quantum coherence in the von Neumann entropy curve. In addition, the presence of revivals and collapses in the atomic population inversion curves has been figured out. Our analysis aims to help the scientists to determine the critical values required of quantum system parameters to control entanglement dynamics.

Quantum entanglement of binomial optical field interacting with moving atom in mixed state

Hongxin Li

Using negative entropy method, the quantum entanglement characteristics of the system of binomial optical field interacting with moving atom were studied. The influences of the atomic initial state,field-mode structure parameter, maximum photon number of binomial field, coefficient of binomial field, transition photon number and detuning were discussed. The results show that the value of entanglement degree of the system appears regular evolution and entanglement sudden death(ESD) phenomenon when atomic motion was considered. The increasing of the field-mode structure parameter shortens the period of the entanglement and results in a slight decreasing of amplitude. The atomic initial state affects the entanglement degree of the system. When the atomic initial state tends to pure state, the entanglement degree of the system is larger relatively. With increase of the maximum photon number of binomial field, the value of the entanglement degree of system becomes small, but the period for regular evolution is almost unchanged. When the field is in the middle states, the entanglement degree is smaller relatively. With the increase of the transition photon number, the value of the entanglement degree of the system becomes larger, the period of the oscillation becomes shorter, meanwhile the oscillation of the system becomes faster and faster. With the detuning increasing, the entanglement becomes small.

Entanglement and Other Nonclassical Properties of Two Two-Level Atoms Interacting with a Two-Mode Binomial Field: Constant and Intensity-Dependent Coupling Regimes

Mohammad Kazem Tavassoly, H. Hekmatara

Abstract In this paper, we consider the interaction between two two-level atoms and a two-mode binomial field with a general intensity-dependent coupling regime. The outlined dynamical problem has explicit analytical solution, by which we can evaluate a few of its physical features of interest. To achieve the purpose of the paper, after choosing a particular nonlinearity function, we investigate the quantum statistics, atomic population inversion and at last the linear entropy of the atom-field system which is a good measure for the degree of entanglement. In detail, the effects of binomial field parameters, in addition to different initial atomic states on the temporal behavior of the mentioned quantities have been analyzed. The results show that, the values of binomial field parameters and the initial state of the two atoms influence on the nonclassical effects in the obtained states through which one can tune the nonclassicality criteria appropriately. Setting intensity-dependent coupling function equal to 1 reduces the results to the constant coupling case. By comparing the latter case with the nonlinear regime, we will observe that the nonlinearity disappears the pattern of collapse-revival phenomenon in the evolution of Mandel parameter and population inversion (which can be seen in the linear case with constant coupling), however, more typical collapse-revivals will be appeared for the cross-correlation function in the nonlinear case. Finally, in both linear and nonlinear regime, the entropy remains less than (but close to) 0.5. In other words the particular chosen nonlinearity does not critically affect on the entropy of the system.

Fisher information and quantum state estimation of two-coupled atoms in presence of two external magnetic fields

Hanaa Abu-Zinadah, S. Abdel‐Khalek

We consider a quantum system of an atom-atom interaction in the presence of two external magnetic and classical fields in x, and z directions. The dynamical behavior of single atom quantum quantifiers such as the atomic Wehrl entropy, atomic Fisher information and quantum entropy are investigated. The quantum entanglement degradation in regard to the atomic state estimation are discussed through the evolution of the atomic Fisher information flow, and the effects of the external classical fields and types of time dependent coupling between the two atoms are examined. We explore the relationship between different statistical quantities in the absence and presence of classical field during the time evolution. The results show that the creation and manipulation of entanglement by external fields greatly benefit within the suitable choice of the kind of time dependent coupling among the two atoms and external.

The Atoms's Entanglement Character of Two Entangled Atoms Interacting with the Binomial Light-Field in the Multiphoton Tavis-Cumming Model

Li Bao

The entanglement character of two entangled atoms interacting with the binomial light-field in a multiphoton Tavis-Cumming model(T-C model) is studied by means of the quantum theory. The influences of the optical field parameters and the atomic dipole-dipole coupling intensity of the atoms on the properties of the entanglement between two atoms under different initial states are discussed. The results indicate that the periodicity of the entanglement between two atoms is influenced by the parameters of the binomial optical field. There are the entanglement phenomena at some values of nπ except the value of 5nπ(n=0,1,2,…).With the increase of the parameters of the binomial optical field, the range appearing entanglement phenomenon will increase gradually.Thereby the time in that the entanglement between the two atoms occurs will diminish. The atomic dipole-dipole coupling intensity has an effect on oscillating of entanglement and the entanglement degree between the two atoms.
