Asymmetric Group Key Agreement Protocol from Short Signatures

Kunyu Shen, Lei Zhang, Rui Zhang +1 more

Asymmetric group key agreement allows a group of users to negotiate a public encryption key that corresponds to several decryption keys, and each decryption key can only be computed by one group member. This novel notion ensures the confidentiality of communication among group members and allows any external entity to send messages to the group. However, the existing authenticated asymmetric group key agreement protocols are designed in identity-based cryptosystem or certificateless public key cryptosystem, which are not widely deployed. In this paper, we propose an efficient authenticated asymmetric group key agreement protocol. The protocol captures the security of secrecy, known-key security, key-compromise impersonation, unknown key-share and key control while being resistant to active attacks. The security of our protocol is reduced to the k-BDHE problem.

The Improved ECDH Authentication and Key Agreement Protocol Based on Certificate

Wang Xin-gu

Since ECDH was easily suffered from man-in-the-middle attack,a secure improved ECDH mutual authentication and key agreement protocol based on certificate is proposed. The protocol uses node certificate to realize mutual authentication of communication nodes, and the session key is generated, exchanged and verificated by ECDH algorithm. The protocol is of such security properties as mutual authentication, entity equivalence, key uncontrollability, session key confirmation, perfect forw ard security, and resistance to know n key attacks. Furthermore, the protocol as compared w ith traditional ones,is simple in management, low in overhead, and high in security, and could achieve secure key agreement and verification betw een the communication parties w ith low er computing cost and higher efficiency. Analysis indicates that the protocol is fairly applicable to end-to-end authentication and session key agreement in mobile communication and Internet of things.

A New Method based on Certificateless Authenticated Group Key Agreement Protocols

Ma Ju

A new method based on certificateless authenticated key agreement protocols is proposed.A generalization of multi-party in Nalla agreement and tripartite key agreement, which can strongly overcome the key escrow is made. This new method shows that there is a short signature, which can increase theefficiency ofauthentication process. And it has used the key seed and password evolution scheme, which improved the security of the protocol. The new agreement satisfies much secure prosperity, for instance, forward security, against manin-the-middle resistance, impersonation attack resistance, and so on.
