Abstract

MIMO system makes full use of the space dimension, in the era of increasingly tense spectrum resources, which greatly improves the spectrum efficiency and is one of the future communication support technologies. At the same time, considering the high cost of direct communication between the two parties in a long distance, the relay communication mode has been paid more and more attention. In relay communication network, each node connected by relay has different security levels. In order to forward the information of all nodes, the relay node has the lowest security permission level. Therefore, it is meaningful to study the physical layer security problem in MIMO two-way relay system with relay as the eavesdropper. In view of the above situation, this paper proposes the physical layer security model of MIMO two-way relay cooperative communication network, designs a communication matching grouping algorithm with low complexity and a two-step carrier allocation optimization algorithm, which improves the total security capacity of the system. At the same time, theoretical analysis and simulation verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Improving security in two-way relay networks by optimal relay and jammer selection

S. Suganya, P. Shanmugapriya, T. R. Priyadharshini

The feasibility of physical layer security approach for communication in the presence of one or more eavesdroppers. In the previous scheme, the one-way cooperative networks can be used for transferring information from source to destination. At present this technique is implemented without the eavesdroppers and it becomes ineffective due to sometimes attackers can hack the file. In future this work is carried out in two-way cooperative networks using two-stage cooperative protocol and the objective is to design the system for secrecy capacity maximization or transmit power minimization. The information can be divided into two halves then transferred into intermediate nodes and then merge the files to the destination. By implementing two-stage cooperative protocol will maximize the secrecy capacity in the presence of eavesdroppers by selecting relay and jamming nodes.

A Novel Secure Transmission Scheme in MIMO Two-Way Relay Channels with Physical Layer Approach

Qiao Liu, Guang Gong, Yong Wang +1 more

Security issue has been considered as one of the most pivotal aspects for the fifth-generation mobile network (5G) due to the increasing demands of security service as well as the growing occurrence of security threat. In this paper, instead of focusing on the security architecture in the upper layer, we investigate the secure transmission for a basic channel model in a heterogeneous network, that is, two-way relay channels. By exploiting the properties of the transmission medium in the physical layer, we propose a novel secure scheme for the aforementioned channel mode. With precoding design, the proposed scheme is able to achieve a high transmission efficiency as well as security. Two different approaches have been introduced: information theoretical approach and physical layer encryption approach. We show that our scheme is secure under three different adversarial models: ( 1 ) untrusted relay attack model, ( 2 ) trusted relay with eavesdropper attack model, and ( 3 ) untrusted relay with eavesdroppers attack model. We also derive the secrecy capacity of the two different approaches under the three attacks. Finally, we conduct three simulations of our proposed scheme. The simulation results agree with the theoretical analysis illustrating that our proposed scheme could achieve a better performance than the existing schemes.

Secure Beamforming Design for Physical Layer Network Coding Based MIMO Two-Way Relaying

Keeth Jayasinghe, Praneeth Jayasinghe, Nandana Rajatheva +1 more

In this letter, we propose a secure beamforming scheme for physical layer network coding (PNC)-based multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) two-way relaying system. The relay node performs PNC mapping. An eavesdropper is attempting to intercept the user information. The channel state information (CSI) of the user-to-eavesdropper channel is imperfect at the user nodes. A robust optimization problem is formulated to design beamforming vectors at the user nodes and relay. The problem is non-convex, and an algorithm is proposed to solve that. In the numerical analysis, we discuss the convergence of the proposed algorithm and the impact of the CSI error on the performance.

In this paper, we propose a novel secure transmission scheme for multiple-input multiple- output (MIMO) Two-Way relay channels, where multi- pair communication partners exchange information securely with the help of relay. By utilizing the properties of transmission medium in physical layer, our scheme can achieve high transmission efficiency as well as information theoretic security. With the secrecy capacity analysis, we show that our scheme is a secure approach under two different adversarial models: 1) untrusted relay attack model; 2) trusted relay with eavesdropper attack model. Power Allocation Scheme for Physical-Layer Security of Two-Way Untrusted Relay in SCMA networks

Zhiqiang Li, Shuai Han, Xiao Wang

With the rapid development of electronic technology, secure communication has been widely used in the whole modern telecommunication system, and security has become an important measure of communication quality. With the improvement of communication quality and the increase of communication distance, the secrecy capacity of communication system with relay has been studied extensively. However, in the case of a large number of users, less frequency resources and limited power, there is little research on how to control the power and improve the secrecy capacity as much as possible. In this case, based on the Sparse Code Multiple Access (SCMA) network model, this paper analyses the relationship between the security capacity and the number of users, the power allocation of users and the power allocation of cooperative interference in the two-way uncertain relay system, and gives the power allocation scheme of user-to-user and cooperative interference. The superiority of the power allocation scheme proposed in this paper has been proved by simulation results, and it has great practical value.

Bolun Li, Tao Liang, Aiwei Sun

The rapid development and popularization of wireless communications makes communication resources even more short and communication service face even bigger security threat. To improve the security and energy and spectrum efficiency, the research is focused on the communication system, which is composed of an information transmitter, a desired receiver, an eavesdropper and a full-duplex relay, Among those the relay node with energy harvesting capability works in full-duplex mode. Via building the system as flat Rayleigh fading model, the security performance of the system is analyzed, and the theoretical expression of security outage probability acquired. Finally, Monte Carlo simulation results verify the theoretical-analysis results, and indicate the effect of various parameters on the system performance.
