Title: Non-Equilibrium Thermodynamics for Quantum Data Analysis

Jincheng Zhang

Quantum data analysis presents unique challenges due to the inherent sensitivity to initial conditions and the complex, often non-linear, dynamics of quantum systems. Conventional statistical methods often struggle to effectively capture these intricate patterns and correlations, particularly when dealing with systems exhibiting phenomena like quantum entanglement and superposition. This research proposes a novel framework leveraging non-equilibrium thermodynamics to provide a deeper understanding of these dynamics, aiming to identify emergent correlations that are difficult to detect using traditional approaches. We develop a system of differential equations that represent the evolution of quantum states, incorporating thermodynamic principles to model the system's state space. The primary goal is to shift the focus from simple equilibrium states to those characterized by active, self-organized structures. This approach will provide a more robust and insightful analysis of quantum data, potentially unlocking novel insights into the behavior of quantum systems and offering a more accurate representation of their underlying dynamics. This work will explore how non-equilibrium thermodynamics can be employed to enhance our ability to understand and interpret the complex correlations within quantum data.

Non-Equilibrium Thermo Field Dynamics and Its Application to Error-Correction for Spatially Correlated Quantum Errors

Toshihico Arimitsu

The framework of the canonical operator formalism for dissipative and/or stochastic quantum systems named non-equilibrium thermo field dynamics (NETFD) is presented in a self-contained manner. As an application of the formalism, a model of noisy-channel which is under the influence of spatially correlated quantum Brownian motion is investigated within the framework of NETFD. It is shown that errors due to spatially correlated noises can be corrected by the quantum error-correction code and error-correction procedure prepared for those for independent noises.
