The application of microwave photonic detection in quantum communication

Yongyong Zhuang, Xuerui Song, Liujun Wang +2 more

Quantum communication has attracted much attention in recent years, provides an ultimate level of security, and uniquely it is one of the most likely practical quantum technologies at present. In order to realize global coverage of quantum communication networks, not only need the help of satellite to realize wide area quantum communication, need implementation of optical fiber system to realize city to city quantum communication, but also, it is necessary to implement end-to-end quantum communications intercity and wireless quantum communications that can be received by handheld devices. Because of the limitation of application of light in buildings, it needs quantum communication with microwave band to achieve quantum reception of wireless handheld devices. The single microwave photon energy is very low, it is difficult to directly detect, which become a difficulty in microwave quantum detection. This paper summarizes the mode of single microwave photon detection methods and the possibility of application in microwave quantum communication, and promotes the development of quantum communication in microwave band and quantum radar.

Analysis of node anomaly detection in quantum communication networks based on AP clustering with Fibonacci-like lattices

B.N. Jin, Guang Yang, Min Nie

Quantum satellite communication is the research hotspot and the frontier in the field of quantum communication, and the construction strategy of quantum communication network is an important part of quantum communication. In the future large-scale application of quantum communication network, how to establish the reliability and security of quantum communication network transmission information is an important indicator to realize the network application. This paper adopts the principle of bionics, extracts the Fibonacci lattice network structure model according to the spiral dense winding model of plant growth in nature, and proposes an imitation Fibonacci lattice quantum air network model in combination with quantum air network, and studies the uniformity, bit error rate and key generation rate of this communication network structure; and combines affinity propagation (AP) clustering The method is used to detect sensor anomalies in the nodes of the quantum key distribution network, and the experimental results show that the method has good detection performance and high reliability.

Using a Heterodyne Detection Scheme in a Subcarrier Wave Quantum Communication System

K. S. Mel’nik, N. M. Arslanov, O. I. Bannik +4 more

The single photon detectors currently used in quantum communication schemes impose considerable restrictions on signal registration and dark count rates, require cooling to low temperatures, and are relatively expensive. Alternative approaches have recently been proposed that are based on the homogeneous and heterogeneous detection of quantum signals and can be used with conventional photodetectors. This work studies the possibility of obtaining a heterogeneous detection scheme in a subcarrier wave quantum communication system that could be used to create quantum networks.
