Abstract

We investigate the effects of temperature on quantum Fisher information (QFI), fidelity, and entropy squeezing in two interacting superconducting qubits (SCQs). We show how the variations in these quantum quantifiers may be controlled by carefully selecting the model's physical parameters (PPM). We obtain a trapping phenomena for Fisher information, allowing us to improve the QFI and retain the amount of information while also preserving it from information loss due to temperature impacts. We evaluate the fidelity of the SCQ to explain the dynamic aspects of the QFI in relation to the PPM. Furthermore, we examine the influence of the PPM on the variation in the squeezing entropy for SCQs. The results indicate how, in terms of quantum measurement theory, the system under consideration might be valuable in enabling the realization of experiments under optimal conditions.

Quantum Fisher Information Dynamics in Squeezed Reservoirs: Mathematical Insights and Quantum Applications

Kamal Barrada

This work explores the dynamics of quantum Fisher information (QFI) in open quantum systems coupled to squeezed reservoirs, providing a mathematical framework for analyzing parameter estimation precision under decoherence. We analyze QFI in two-qubit systems undergoing pure dephasing, considering the effects of squeezing parameter, phase difference, and coupling strength within an Ohmic spectral density model. The decoherence factor shows how reservoir engineering influences coherence loss. Numerical results demonstrate that optimal squeezing and local bath configurations enhance QFI preservation, while collective couplings accelerate decay. We also examine the interplay with von Neumann entropy, highlighting their inverse correlation, where increased mixedness reduces metrological sensitivity.

Coherence, purity and correlation for superconducting charge qubits

K. Berrada, S. Abdel‐Khalek, Mariam Algarni

In a model consisting of two superconducting charge qubits (SC-Qs), we study how the Josephson energy (JE) and temperature have an influence on the coherence, the degree of mixedness, and the nonclassical correlation. In this example, we show how the quantumness metrics change depending on the JE and the temperature. We also show that the number of quantifiers can be controlled by appropriate selection of the JE of the SC-Q and temperature effect. Additionally, we determine the optimal conditions required to enhance and preserve the coherence and maintain the level of coherence in the existence of temperature variations. We observe important quantum phenomena, i.e., coherence trapping and the quantum correlation trapping. Furthermore, we explain the variations in the coherence based on the degree of mixedness in the superconducting qubit state.

Quantum Fisher information of two superconducting charge qubits under dephasing noisy channel

H. F. Abdel-Hameed, Nour Zidan, NASSER METWALLY

The Quantum Fisher information (QFI) of a two charged qubits system that interacts locally with a dephasing channel is quantified with respect to the charged qubits’ and the channel’s parameters. The behavior of Fisher information displays different phenomena as; the sudden changes (increasing/decreasing); the gradual decay and freezing of the QFI. It is shown that the QFI of the dephasing parameter decays gradually and vanishes completely as one increases the initial energies of the qubits and their mutual energy. The possibility of estimating the charged qubits’ energies may be maximized at smaller values of the initial dephasing’s parameter. The estimation degree of the mutual information reaches its upper bounds by increasing the initial energies. It is depicted that, by controlling the qubits’ and the channel’s parameters, the QFI may be frozen. We expect that this result may be interesting in the context of quantum encoding and quantum cryptography.

Exploring Entanglement and Quantum Fisher Information in a System of Two Superconducting Qubits Subjected to Thermal Noise

Mourad Benzahra, Mostafa Mansour

Abstract This study explores the dynamics of a two-qubit superconducting charge system, a prevalent technology in quantum computing. We utilize logarithmic negativity and local quantum Fisher information to gauge the entanglement and correlations within this system. Our findings indicate a significant influence of temperature on the system, leading to a reduction in both measures. However, adjusting system parameters can enhance these quantum quantifiers. Furthermore, we note that the local quantum Fisher information exhibits greater resilience to temperature-induced degradation compared to logarithmic negativity.

Dynamics of quantum Fisher information in a squeezed thermal bath

Asghar Ullah

In this paper, the dynamics of quantum Fisher information of a qubit interacting with a squeezed thermal environment are studied. The optimal initial state of the qubit, the temperature of the environment, and the interaction time, which maximize quantum Fisher information are obtained. Based on the ohmicity of the environment, we compare the dynamics of quantum Fisher information in ohmic, sub-ohmic, and super-ohmic regimes of the environment. Moreover, it is shown that the precise estimation of parameters is robust against squeezing.

Quantum scheme of dissipative two qubits in a squeezed field: Entanglement and Fisher information

S. Abdel‐Khalek, Eied Mahmoud Khalil, Hammad Alotaibi +3 more

A clear relationship between the quantum version of Fisher information and the bipartite system entanglement has been explored recently. Known existing results for some quantum systems having strongly nonlocal correlations are still limited. In this paper, based on the interaction between a two-qubit and squeezed field, we investigate the correlation between the dynamical behavior of qubit-qubit entanglement and the quantum Fisher information (QFI). We focus on the effect of a number of photon multiplicity, low and high squeezing regime of the field on the dynamics of the QFI and entanglement quantifier. We show how the QFI and entanglement quantifier can be affected by the number of photon multiplicity and squeeze parameter during the time evolution of cases of absence and presence of dissipation effect. Our results exhibit the correlation between the entanglement quantifiers and the QFI with respect to the appearance of collapse and revival phenomena of the atomic inversion.
