Approaches to regulating quantum communications

The article analyzes possible approaches to the legal regulation of quantum communications in the Russian Federation. The necessity of applying an integrated approach to the regulation of quantum communications is substantiated. Today, it is possible to implement the possibility of comprehensive regulation of the institute of quantum communications law and the harmonious development of communications legislation in terms of separating quantum communications as a separate communication (in the long term) or telecommunication (in the medium term), as well as the development of information security legislation in terms of providing greater autonomy to participants in the quantum communications market, including the development of the commercial manufacturing sector production of quantum communications and the provision of quantum communication services.

A simple review of quantum communication and quantum communication experiments in three different mediums

Quantum communication is an implementation based on quantum mechanics. This includes quantum entanglement theory, quantum cryptography, quantum teleportation, quantum repeater, and quantum storage. All components of quantum communication except entanglement are reviewed in this paper. Besides, this paper discusses three different media, land, underwater and space, in which quantum communication can be operated. Quantum communication on land and underwater uses optical fibers, and quantum communication in space uses satellites. In this paper, two experiments for each of these three media are carried out to illustrate how quantum communication is established on these three media. Thus, quantum communication and its three media are reviewed in this paper.

Analysis on Features and Limits of Quantum Communication

Quantum entanglement and teleportation are the very strange phenomena and could not be discovered in classical physics. However,could teleportation communication be a superluminal communication? Could it surpass the limits in communication distance and speed of classical communication system? Study on quantum physics and quantum communication system indicates that quantum communication has a very limited practical prospect in submarine and free-space communication,though quantum entanglement communication is with some very fascinating features. So it is very important to do objective analysis on quantum communication.
