Abstract

In the present manuscript, we consider a quantum system of two super-conducting (SC) qubits that move at relativistic speeds and each qubit coupled to a resonator mode (RM). Here, the relativistic motion of the SC-qubits results from the modulation of the time-varying coupling between the SC-qubits and the resonator for which the system resembles the rotating approximation and anti-Jaynes-Cummings (JC) dynamics. We study the time variation of some interesting current quantumness measures with respect to the time-varying coupling (TVC) considering von Neumann entropy, negativity and Mandel parameter. We illustrate the dynamical behavior of the SC-qubits–RMs entanglement, SC-qubit–SC-qubit entanglement and photon statistics of the RMs at relativistic motion in the absence and presence of dissipative environment.

Dispersive reservoir influence on the superconducting phase qubit

H. A. Hessian, A.‐B. A. Mohamed, Ali H. Homid

An analytical description of a superconducting (SC) phase qubit coupled to a torsional resonator, which is damped by a dispersive reservoir, is presented based on the master equation. Therefore, the effect of the qubit phase damping on the dynamical behavior of the entanglement, purity loss and qubit inversion are investigated. It is found that the collapse and revival phenomena of qubit inversion are very sensitive not only to the damping parameter but also to the frequency detuning and the qubit distribution angle of the initial state. It is interesting to note that the purity of the state of the SC-qubit, which is measured by von Neumann entropy, can be completely lost due to the dispersive reservoir parameter. Because of the existence of dispersive reservoir, the von Neumann entropy cannot be a measure for the entanglement in open system. So, the negative eigenvalue of the partially transposed density matrix of qubit-resonator system is used to quantify the entanglement. For certain parameter sets, it is possible to control the degree and the dynamics of entanglement between the qubit and the torsional resonator.

Entanglement and photon statistics of two dipole–dipole coupled superconducting qubits with Kerr-like nonlinearities

Shatha A. Aldaghfag, K. Berrada, S. Abdel‐Khalek

The engineering of Kerr and time-dependent coupling interactions is of great attention for treating quantum information in quantum systems and for investigating the collective behavior of large numbers of interacting particles in a cavity-qubit network. In this manuscript, we investigate the time evolution of the entanglement and some nonclassical properties of two superconducting qubits interacting with a single-mode field in the presence of a Kerr-like medium and dipole–dipole interaction without and with time-dependent coupling effect. We show that a slight alteration in the interaction, detuning, and Kerr parameters might cause a change in the entanglement of subsystem states during the evolution. By taking into account the influence of the different physical parameters, we show the statistical distributions produced in the photons of the single mode field through the calculation of the Mandel’s parameter. Finally, we find that the time-dependent Mandel’s parameter not only provide the statistical properties of the field, but also include the information of quantum entanglement for the subsystem states.

Influence of Intrinsic Decoherence on Entanglement of Superconducting Charge Qubit in a Resonant Cavity

Liu Xiao-Nan, Shao Bin, Zou Jian

Taking the intrinsic decoherence effect into account, we investigate the entanglement dynamics of a superconducting charge qubit in a single-mode optical cavity. Concurrence, as the measure of entanglement of the coupled field-junction system, is calculated. In comparison, we also consider the entanglement of the system by using the entanglement parameter based on the ratio between mutual entropy and partial Von-Neumann entropy to investigate how the intrinsic decoherence affects the entanglement of the coupling system. Our results show that the evolution of the entanglement parameter has the behaviour similar to the concurrence and it is thus the well measure of entanglement for the mixed state in such a coupling system.

Decoherence of two qubits coupled with one-mode cavity without rotating-wave approximation

Wang Fa-Qiang, Weici Liu, Ruisheng Liang

The decoherence of two qubits, coupled with one-mode cavity separately, has been investigated exactly. The results show that, for the resonant case, the decoherence behavior of system is similar to Markovian case when the coupling strength is weak, while the concurrence vanishes in finite time and might recover fractional initial entanglement before it permanently vanishes when the coupling strength is strong. And for detuning case, the entanglement could periodically recover after a period of time from its disappearance. These results are quite different from that of system subjected to Jaynes-Cummings model.

Modeling of entanglement behavior of two dipole-coupled superconducting qubits interacting with quantum fields in lossless cavities

Л. Д. Покроєва, Т. В. Дрожжина, Коченгіна М.В.

We have investigated the entanglement dynamics between two initially entangled superconducting qubits interacting with vacuum fields of one or two independent coplanar 1D resonators. Three types of two-qubits generalized Jaynes-Cummings models with different atom-field coupling constants and detunings and direct dipole-dipole interaction has been considered. Using the dressed-states technique we have derived the exact solutions for models under consideration. The computer modeling of the time dependence of qubit-qubit entanglement (negativity) has been carried out for different strength of the dipole-dipole interaction. Results show that dipole-dipole interaction may be used for entanglement control.

Dynamics of two superconducting qubits interacting with two different quantum resonators

Mikhail M. Evseev, Eugene K. Bashkirov

In this paper, we have investigated the entanglement dynamics between two initially entangled superconducting qubits in the framework of a double Jaynes-Cummings model with different atom-filed coupling constants and detunings taking into account the direct dipole-dipole interaction. We have carried out the dependence of the atom-atom entanglement on the strength of the dipole-dipole interaction and other parameters of the considered system such as the different coupling constants and the detunings. The results show these parameters have great impact on the amplitude and the period of the atom-atom entanglement evolution. In addition, the presence of sufficiently large dipole-dipole interaction leads to stabilization of entanglement for all Bell-types initial qubits states and different couplings and detunings.
