Teleportation of Werner state via graphene-based quantum channels under dephasing environment

Abstract

The teleportation of Werner state in the graphene-based quantum channels under the dephasing environment is studied through the effective low-energy theory in this paper. The results show that the output entanglement normally reaches a higher level as the input entanglement increases, while the performance of the corresponding fidelity is opposite. Given the input state, the greater entanglement in the quantum channel can provide the higher-quality output state. For graphene-based quantum channels, the low temperature and weak Coulomb repulsive potential can decelerate the attenuation of entanglement resources in the dephasing environment. Moreover, when the temperature is lower than 40 K and the coulomb repulsive potential between electrons is less than 6 eV, the average fidelity of the output state reaches more than 80%. These results indicate that graphene has potential applications in quantum information.

Quantum teleportation between the narrow armchair graphene nanoribbons with zigzag ends

Xiao-Dong Tan, Le Zhang

Abstract We study quantum teleportation between the narrow armchair graphene nanoribbons (GNRs) with zigzag ends. Several influences including Coulomb repulsion among electrons, temperature and ribbon length on the output state and teleportation fidelity are discussed in detail. Moreover, we derive the entanglement of the output state and corresponding fidelity as a function of the input and channel entanglement. For practical applications, we also propose a scheme for implementing the single-qubit gates (X, Z and H gates) and two-qubit controlled-NOT gate in GNRs, based on the Bang-Bang control strategy and synchronous step magnetic field.

Partial teleportation of entanglement in a noisy environment

Jinhyoung Lee, M. S. Kim, Y. J. Park +1 more

Partial teleportation of entanglement is to teleport one particle of an entangled pair through a quantum channel. This is conceptually equivalent to quantum swapping. We consider the partial teleportation of entanglement in the noisy environment, employing the Werner-state representation of the noisy channel for the simplicity of calculation. To have the insight of the many-body teleportation, we introduce the measure of correlation information and study the transfer of the correlation information and entanglement. We find that the fidelity becomes smaller as the initial state is entangled more for a given entanglement of the quantum channel. The entangled channel transfers at least some of the entanglement to the final state.

Quantum teleportation and thermal entanglement of two-scattering qubit state in graphene lattices

Hamza Mhamdi, L. Jebli, Nabil Habiballah +1 more

This paper presents an analytical investigation of the teleportation and the thermal entanglement of two identical qubits in the ground state of graphene lattices. The elastic interaction between the two qubits is considered as a scattering process. The modified Hamiltonian and density matrix of the system were presented. The teleportation and the entanglement of two-qubit system are analyzed through the study of the average fidelity of teleportation [Formula: see text], the concurrence [Formula: see text] and the entanglement of formation [Formula: see text]. The results depend on the temperature [Formula: see text] and also on the parameters of the system as the [Formula: see text] parameter of the interaction potential and [Formula: see text] band parameter. The study shows that the teleportation and the entanglement decrease when the temperature [Formula: see text] increases but they become all the more important as the parameters [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] increase.

Quantum Teleportation of Single Qubit Mixed Information State with Werner-Like State as Resource

Hari Prakash, Vikram Verma

In this paper we extend our recent results for quantum teleportation of single qubit pure information state using non-maximally entangled pure state resource [Quantum Inf Process, 11 (2012) 1251] to the case of a general mixed information state and mixed Werner states resource. Fidelity is found dependent on information state in general. We minimize it over all possible information states and maximize it over possible unitary transformations which can be done by the receiver to obtain a value dependent on purity of information state and mixing parameter of Werner states. For pure information state, this value of fidelity is independent of information and for mixed information states it is less than unity even for perfect entangled resource. The latter result is in contrast to the case of pure states.

Thermal entanglement and teleportation of a thermally mixed entangled state of a Heisenberg chain through a Werner state

Huang Li-Yuan, Mao-Fa Fang

The thermal entanglement and teleportation of a thermally mixed entangled state of a two-qubit Heisenberg XXX chain under the Dzyaloshinski–Moriya (DM) anisotropic antisymmetric interaction through a noisy quantum channel given by a Werner state is investigated. The dependences of the thermal entanglement of the teleported state on the DM coupling constant, the temperature and the entanglement of the noisy quantum channel are studied in detail for both the ferromagnetic and the antiferromagnetic cases. The result shows that a minimum entanglement of the noisy quantum channel must be provided in order to realize the entanglement teleportation. The values of fidelity of the teleported state are also studied for these two cases. It is found that under certain conditions, we can transfer an initial state with a better fidelity than that for any classical communication protocol.

Swapping of correlations via teleportation with decoherence

Jerzy Dajka, J. Łuczka

Quantum channel teleporting one party of a bipartite entangled state is considered. It is assumed that resource is coupled to thermal decohering (dissipative and/or pure dephasing) environment. We investigate both the fidelity of the channel and its ability to swap the initial correlation to the final state of the system in which subsystems did not interact directly. We qualify the correlations by negativity and quantum discord. We show that the correlation loss defined as a difference between values of the correlation measure for the teleported state and the resource vanishes for certain choice of parameters at certain time instants. Moreover, the perfect transmission of entanglement takes place in the case when the resource qubits have the same energy splitting.
