The metamorphoses of the light cones of a relativistic particle on a ring

M. Ćosić, M. Hadžijojić

In this paper, we investigate the dynamics of a relativistic particle confined to a ring. The focus is on the metamorphoses of the functional form of the particle propagator induced by a change in the asymptotic parameter, proportional to the ratio of the ring length to the particle Compton wavelength. Tackling the divergent nature of the propagator enabled us to describe and classify all patterns produced by particle self-interference, regardless of the shape of the initial wave packet. We shall show under which conditions a quasiperiodic structure, known as quantum carpets, arises and demonstrate that its quartic part of the phase function, which structurally stabilizes the canonical carpet, is not just a correction but explains all features of the exact solution.

Exciton‐grating induced metamorphoses of the degenerate four‐wave mixing spectra in the giant two‐photon resonances of the excitonic molecules in CuBr and CuCl

Goro Mizutani, N. Nagasawa

Abstract It is demonstrated that the spectral shape of the DFWM generation in CuBr and CuCl show remarkable metamorphoses when the polarization of the incident two beams is set parallel to each other. According to the polarization character of the nonlinear polarization, these phenomena are concluded to be due to higher order non‐linearity than χ(3) where the really populated exciton grating contributes.

Bell's inequalities revisited

Henri Jms

The entanglement phenomenon challenges our human way of thinking. As of today, while quantum statistical mathematics predicts correctly the behaviours of entangled particles non-statistical mathematics fails to concur with experiments. This paper overcomes this challenge. A new non-statistical equation is introduced, replacing the one that fails; this non-statistical equation is justified by physical experiments just as quantum statistical mathematics is. The valid non-statistical equation proposed here describes each individual particle’s specific behavior and subsequent measurement, a feature missing in quantum statistical mechanics. And for perplexed scientists, it is shown how this valid non-statistical mathematics metamorphoses Bell’s inequalities into equalities.
