Thermodynamic Cost of Quantum transfers

Abstract

Abstract In this work, we will study thermodynamic cost of dense coding. In this regard, a scheme is proposed for quantum channel where is induced from two initially uncorrelated thermal quantum systems. At first, the quantum Fisher information and spin squeezing is used to quantify the correlation dynamics over the system. The system reveals that the dynamics of quantum correlations depends crucially on specific energy and temperature. Also, they can be utilized as control parameters for optimal dense coding. Several interesting features of the variations of the energy cost and the dense coding capacity are obtained. It can keep its own valid capacity value in a broad range of temperature by increasing in the energy value of excited states. Also, we can identify valid dense coding with the help of calculating energy cost in the system. Using this approach, identifying a critical point of this model in dense coding capacity quality can be very effective.

Dynamics of super quantum discord and optimal dense coding in quantum channels

Фороузан Мирмасоуди, Sodeif Ahadpour

Abstract Quantum discord (QD), super quantum discord (SQD) and optimal dense coding at entangled states of three types of quantum channels, are investigated. The used models include: two-qubit spin squeezing, the two-qubit Heisenberg XYZ model with decoherency and the Jaynes–Cummings model. In the first two models the quantum correlations and the optimal dense coding capacity are calculated in terms of channel parameters, system initial conditions and decoherency rate. It has been found that valid dense coding can exist, although there is no trace of entanglement in the quantum channel. In contrast, despite the presence of entanglement states in the system, there may be no dense coding capacity. We investigate the effects of cavity Fock states on quantum correlations and optimal dense coding in the Jaynes–Cummings model. Cavity Fock states are found to be effective for quantum correlations and optimal dense coding. The common result of all three models is that the dynamic properties of SQD on our channel enable us to determine when and under what conditions the system is suitable for dense coding capacity.

Super dense coding out of thermal equilibrium

Seerat Javed, Ansha Tayyab, Muzzamal Iqbal Shaukat

Abstract We have examined the potentiality of superdense coding for a quantum system placed out of thermal equilibrium. To this aim, the dynamics of two two-level quantum systems are analyzed and explicit expressions for transition rates are evaluated. The dependence of superdense coding capacity on initial states is observed and examined for different ratios of anti-symmetric to symmetric transition rates. The effect of sub-radiant and super-radiant terms is interpreted. The validity of dense coding is also analyzed for different probability amplitudes and it is perceived that maximally entangled states show the highest degree of coding capacity. Moreover, the optimal time of coding capacity is greatest for initially entangled state. This strategy can be relevant to analyze further applications out of thermal equilibrium.

Super dense coding in one-axis twisting model

Sodeif Ahadpour, Фороузан Мирмасоуди

We study thermal dense coding in a two-spin model under an external magnetic eld. Its depen-dencies on magnetic eld, strength of the spin squeezing and temperature are presented in detail. Our main goal now is to study how we can increase the thermal dense coding capacity in the presenceof magnetic eld, strength of the spin squeezing and temperature. It shows that the dense codingtend to valid value by setting the value of the input quantum correlations. Our most importantmotive for this study is to examine the relationship between the thermal properties of super quan-tum discord (SQD) and dense coding. The results show that the thermal properties of the SQD onour channel enable us to determine when and under what conditions the system is suitable for validdense coding. Our proposals could be lead to that this scheme is efficient for quantum informationprocessing.

Entanglement Dynamics and Quantum Dense Encoding of Heisenberg Spin Chain in Non-Markovian Environment

ShiSheng Tang

Abstract Quantum entanglement is a special nonlocal association between quantum systems. It is a fundamental feature of the difference between quantum and classical. At the same time, it acts as a very important resource in quantum informatics. Therefore, entanglement plays a noble role in quantum information and quantum computing. Quantum dense coding, as an application of quantum entanglement in practice, is a quantum communication protocol characterized by security and secrecy, which plays a very important role in quantum informatics and cryptography. This paper is mainly in the Non-Markovian environment of Heisenberg Spin chain system, using the quantum dense coding scheme proposed by Bennett et al. to study The dynamics of quantum dense coding channel capacity evolution with time and the entanglement dynamics of the system are discussed in detail.Based on the theoretical knowledge of open quantum systems and the maximum entangled state \(\left| {{{\mathbf{\psi }}_{{\mathbf{AB}}}}} \right\rangle =\frac{1}{{\sqrt 2 }}\left( {\left| {11} \right\rangle +\left| {00} \right\rangle } \right)\) as the initial state, the density matrix of the system evolution over time is obtained by quantum state diffusion method, and the evolution of channel capacity and entanglement over time of Heisenberg spin chains is simulated accurately. The results show that: the capacity and entanglement of dense coded channel oscillate with time and reach different stable values. Environmental correlation coefficient\(\gamma\)and coupling strength\(\eta\)and a play an important role in dense coding and quantum entanglement of quantum systems.Proper selection of parameters can keep the system good entanglement characteristics and increase the channel capacity\(\chi\)of the system, thus ensuring the effective transmission and processing of quantum information in practice. Thermodynamically optimal creation of correlations

Faraj Bakhshinezhad, Fabien Clivaz, Giuseppe Vitagliano +4 more

Abstract Correlations lie at the heart of almost all scientific predictions. It is therefore of interest to ask whether there exist general limitations to the amount of correlations that can be created at a finite amount of invested energy. Within quantum thermodynamics such limitations can be derived from first principles. In particular, it can be shown that establishing correlations between initially uncorrelated systems in a thermal background has an energetic cost. This cost, which depends on the system dimension and the details of the energy-level structure, can be bounded from below but whether these bounds are achievable is an open question. Here, we put forward a framework for studying the process of optimally correlating identical (thermal) quantum systems. The framework is based on decompositions into subspaces that each support only states with diagonal (classical) marginals. Using methods from stochastic majorisation theory, we show that the creation of correlations at minimal energy cost is possible for all pairs of three- and four-dimensional quantum systems. For higher dimensions we provide sufficient conditions for the existence of such optimally correlating operations, which we conjecture to exist in all dimensions.

Exploring entropic uncertainty relation and dense coding capacity in a two-qubit X-state

Saeed Haddadi, Mehrdad Ghominejad, Ahmad Akhound +1 more

Abstract The measurement precision for two incompatible observables in a typical quantum system can be improved by the aid of one particle as a quantum memory. In this work, we study the entropic uncertainty relation in the presence of quantum memory (EUR-QM) and dense coding capacity (DCC) for arbitrary two-qubit X-states, and then we obtain an explicit relationship between the lower bound of the uncertainty and DCC. As an example, we examine the thermal EUR-QM as well as DCC in two kinds of two-qubit spin squeezing models (one-axis twisting model and two-axis counter-twisting model) under an external magnetic field. In the following, we relate EUR-QM to DCC and show analytically that there is an anti-correlated relation between them, and especially in the ground state. Our results show that for both the models, the entropic uncertainty and its bound can be decreased by reinforcing the spin squeezing parameters or decreasing the temperature of the system. Notably, we reveal that the valid dense coding cannot carry out in the one-axis twisting model, nevertheless, if we properly choose the Hamiltonian parameters, the two-axis counter-twisting model not only carries out the valid dense coding but also the optimal dense coding surely can be achieved. Thereby, our observations might offer new insights into quantum measurement precision and the optimal dense coding for the regimes of various solid-state systems.
