Abstract

In this article, we introduce an analytical description for the nonlinear off-resonance qutrit-cavity system through intensity-dependent nonlinear coupling under intrinsic decoherence. When the cavity is initially in coherent and even coherent states. The dynamics of the negativity entanglement, in the off-resonance qutrit-cavity system, is investigated under the physical parameters of the qutrit-cavity detuning, the intrinsic decoherence as well as the initial cavity coherent states. It is found that the ability of the off-resonance qutrit-cavity interaction to generate the entanglement, depends on the physical parameters. The high nonclassicality of the even coherent state can enhance the generated entanglement and its stability. For the intrinsic decoherence, the amount and the stability of the generated qutrit-cavity entanglement can be controlled by the coherent field intensity of the initial cavity states.

Entanglement Dynamics Induced by a Squeezed Coherent Cavity Coupled Nonlinearly with a Qubit and Filled with a Kerr-Like Medium

Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed, Hichem Eleuch

An analytical solution for a master equation describing the dynamics of a qubit interacting with a nonlinear Kerr-like cavity through intensity-dependent coupling is established. A superposition of squeezed coherent states is propped as the initial cavity field. The dynamics of the entangled qubit-cavity states are explored by negativity for different deformed function of the intensity-dependent coupling. We have examined the effects of the Kerr-like nonlinearity and the qubit-cavity detuning as well as the phase cavity damping on the generated entanglement. The intensity-dependent coupling increases the sensitivity of the generated entanglement to the phase-damping. The stability and the strength of the entanglement are controlled by the Kerr-like nonlinearity, the qubit-cavity detuning, and the initial cavity non-classicality. These physical parameters enhance the robustness of the qubit-cavity entanglement against the cavity phase-damping. The high initial cavity non-classicality enhances the robustness of the qubit-cavity entanglement against the phase-damping effect.

Intrinsic decoherence effect on dynamics of a Λ -type qutrit interacting nonlinearly with a coherent field

A.‐B. A. Mohamed, M M Elkhateeb, Mostafa Hashem +1 more

In this paper, an intrinsic decoherence model is solved analytically for a Λ-type qutrit interacting with a coherent field through intensity-dependent coupling. The effects of the qutrit-cavity interaction, the intrinsic decoherence and the initial coherent field intensity are examined on some quantum phenomena as: atom population inversion, mixedness, entanglement as well as total correlation. It is found that the increase of the physical parameters, the regular oscillatory behavior of the qutrit-population collapses and revivals are changed remarkably. The interaction between the three-level atom and the coherent cavity field generates a strong mixture, negativity entanglement and total correlation (classical + quantum). The growth, the regularity and the stability of these quantum effects depend on the decoherence and the initial coherent cavity intensity.

Generation of quantum coherence in two-qubit cavity system: qubit-dipole coupling and decoherence effects

A-B A Mohamed, H. A. Hessian, Hichem Eleuch

Abstract The intrinsic decoherence effect for two qubits interacting with a coherent field, under the dipole-dipole interaction and two-photon resonance, is analytically described. We investigate numerically the population inversion and the quantum coherence. The results show that the generated mixture entropy and the entanglement negativity, can be enhanced and protected by the dipole-dipole interaction and by reducing the initial coherent field intensity. In particular, we find that, the collapses and revivals of the population inversion present high sensitivity to these physical parameters. The nonlinearity of the two-photon processes leads to a generation of a strong two-qubit entanglement. This generated entanglement depends on the initial coherent field intensity, the dipole-dipole interaction and the intrinsic decoherence.

Quantum coherence induced by a flux qubit coupled by a resonator coherent field through a two-photon interaction

A-B A Mohamed, H. A. Hessian, Fuad S. Alduais +1 more

Abstract The intrinsic decoherence effects on a flux qubit coupled to a resonator through a two-photon interaction where the resonator field is initially in coherent and even coherent states are investigated. The qubit-resonator entanglement and coherence loss (mixedness) of the system and its subsystems are examined using entropy and negativity. The ability of the qubit-resonator interaction to generate quantum coherence (qubit-resonator entanglement and mixedness) is shown to be dependent on the initial cavity non-classicality, detuning, and decoherence. For larger values of the qubit-resonator detuning, the initial resonator non-classicality can enhance the generation and stability of quantum coherence. The decoherence degrades the qubit-resonator entanglement and destroys the sudden death-birth entanglement.

Quantum dynamics of a qutrit in a cavity filled with Kerr-like medium and intrinsic noise

A.‐B. A. Mohamed, M M Elkhateeb, Mostafa Hashem +2 more

We study the dynamics of the intrinsic noise (IN) model of a three-level atom (qutrit) in V-configuration. The qutrit is inside an open cavity with a Kerr-like medium. The quantifiers of the atomic population, entanglement and mixedness are evaluated under the physical parameters of the photon multiplicity, IN and the nonlinearity of both the unitary interaction and the Kerr-like medium. It is found that the generated entanglement and mixedness may be enhanced by filling the cavity with a nonlinear medium. The transfer of the energy between the two upper states and the lower state are very sensitive to the physical parameters. The entanglement and mixedness depend on the initial coherent intensity, the IN and the Kerr-like medium.

Dynamics of trade-off relations between quantum information resources in two qubits interacting individually and nonlinearly with a cavity: Decoherence model

Fahad Aljuaydi, A-B A Mohamed, Mostafa Hashem

The dynamics of trade-off relations between quantum information resources are investigated in a system of two non-interacting qubits, each individually and nonlinearly coupled to coherent cavity fields through intensity-dependent coupling. The qubits are initially prepared in a maximally entangled Bell state, while the cavity fields are assumed to be in coherent states. An exact analytical treatment of the reduced two-qubit density matrix is presented under qubit–cavity detuning and intrinsic decoherence governed by the Milburn model. The time evolutions of first-order coherence, concurrence, intrinsic concurrence and purity are analyzed to elucidate the redistribution of quantum resources. The results confirm that intrinsic concurrence and first-order coherence obey a complementary trade-off relation governed by the purity of the two-qubit state, with standard concurrence acting as a lower bound for intrinsic concurrence throughout the dynamics. The roles of the initial coherent field intensity, qubit–cavity detuning and intrinsic decoherence are examined, showing that nonlinear atom–cavity interactions induce regular oscillatory behavior accompanied by entanglement sudden death and revival phenomena. Increasing the coherent field intensity enhances coherence generation and accelerates entanglement degradation of the generated two-qubit states.
