Quantum Cryptography Under Unified Field Theory: The Mercury Perihelion as a Potential Lifeline of Quantum Security

takashi ueda

We examine the logical consequences of the unified field theory (UFT) previously pro- posed by the author for the security basis of quantum cryptography. The UFT provides deterministic derivations of the hydrogen atom radius and the proton magnetic field, sug- gesting that quantum mechanics may be an emergent theory. If this is the case, the security of quantum cryptography—which relies on the principles of quantum mechanics—may be emergent and provisional rather than fundamental. We identify the solar-activity-dependent anomaly in Mercury’s perihelion precession as a falsifiable prediction of the UFT. We argue that if this prediction is not falsified, the threat to quantum cryptography becomes a serious possibility. We emphasize that this does not constitute a proof that quantum cryptography is broken, but rather that its permanent security cannot be guaranteed within the UFT framework. The BepiColombo mission may provide a decisive test.

Quantum Cryptography and Its Uncrackability

Li Fan

At the time when man enter the Information Age in the twenty-first century, how could we guarantee that the communications systems can't be decrypted? In this respect, quantum cryptography has made great progress.By analyzing the development of cryptography both scientifically and philosophically from the non-quantum cryptography phase to the quantum cryptography phase,we conclude that the ancient cryptography is of weak uncrackability, and when it developed into the stage of the classical cryptography its theory and practice take on the strong-uncrackability,while the quantum cryptography tends to be uncrakable, and it is gradually becoming imperatively uncrakable.
