Abstract

In this paper, we explore the nonlinear dynamics of two dipole-coupled-trapped ions in the Lamb–Dicke regime. The dynamics of the generated two-trapped-ions correlations under intrinsic decoherence is quantified by Bell function, the uncertainty-induced nonlocality, and the concurrence. We investigate the effects of the Lamb–Dicke nonlinearity, the intrinsic decoherence, and the two-trapped-ions coupling. It is found that the two-trapped-ions state has different nonlocal correlations. These correlations can be controlled. In the absence of decoherence, the nonlocal correlations can be enhanced by the Lamb–Dicke nonlinearity and the two-trapped-ions coupling. The stable value and the sudden death-birth phenomenon of the entanglement can be apperceived due to the increase of the Lamb–Dicke nonlinearity. The intrinsic decoherence reduces and stabilizes the nonlocal correlations. They are more pronounced with large Lamb–Dicke values. The decoherence effects are reduced by the strong Lamb–Dicke nonlinearity.

Fisher and Skew Information Correlations of Two Coupled Trapped Ions: Intrinsic Decoherence and Lamb-Dicke Nonlinearity

Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed, Ahmed Farouk, Mansour F. Yassen +1 more

It is well known that many quantum information processing methods in artificial atoms depend largely on their engineering properties and their ability to generate quantum correlations. In this paper, we investigate the non-classical correlation dynamics of two trapped ions by using local quantum Fisher information, local quantum uncertainty, as well as logarithmic negativity. The system engineering is designed such that the two-trapped-ions work as two diploe-coupled qubits in a Lamb-Dicke regime. The center-of-mass vibrational modes are initially in coherent/even coherent states. It is found that the two-trapped-ions correlations can be controlled by the Lamb-Dicke nonlinearity, the nonclassicality effect of the initial center-of-mass vibrational mode, as well as the trapped-ion coupling and the intrinsic decoherence. The sudden changes in the non-classical correlations and their stability are shown against Lamb-Dicke nonlinearity, the nonclassicality, the trapped-ion coupling, and the intrinsic decoherence.

Temporal Quantum Memory and Non-Locality of Two Trapped Ions under the Effect of the Intrinsic Decoherence: Entropic Uncertainty, Trace Norm Nonlocality and Entanglement

Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed, Atta Ur Rahman, Hichem Eleuch

The engineering properties of trapped ions and their capacity to engender numerous quantum information resources determine many aspects of quantum information processing. We devise a setup of coherent and even coherent fields acting on two trapped ions to generate quantum memory, non-locality, and entanglement. Various effects, such as intrinsic decoherence, Lamb–Dicke regime, and dipole–dipole interaction are investigated. The inter-coupling of trapped ions, as well as the generation and dynamics of correlations between them, are analyzed. Using quantum memory assisted entropic uncertainty, trace-norm measurement induced non-locality, and concurrence, we find that the coherent and even coherent fields successfully generate non-local correlations in trapped-ions, with the latter being more resourceful for the dynamics and preservation of the non-local correlations. Furthermore, we observe that the entropic uncertainty and the trace norm induced non-locality present symmetrical dynamics. The dipole–dipole interaction improves correlation’s generation, robustness, and entropic uncertainty suppression.

Non-local correlation between two coupled qubits interacting nonlinearly with a two-mode cavity: Bell function, Trace norm and Bures distance quantifiers

A-B A Mohamed, Eied Mahmoud Khalil, S. Abdel‐Khalek

Abstract In this paper, we study the dynamics of two coupled qubits interacting with a two-mode parametric amplifier cavity through the nonlinear interactions of the photon processes under the intrinsic decoherence. The nonlinear unitary interactions lead to generating different types of nonlocal correlations via Bell nonlocality, trace-norm measurement-induced non-locality (MIN), and Bures-distance entanglement. Based on the intrinsic decoherence, the two-qubit states have stationary amounts of the MIN-correlation and Bures distance entanglement with more stability. It is found that the qubit–qubit interaction coupling is affected as additional decoherence. It leads to more oscillations and stability. The enhancement of the amount of the generated nonlocal correlations depends on the superposition of Barut-Girardello coherent states. The phenomenon of sudden birth/death and the Bell non-locality can be enhanced when the two-mode parametric amplifier cavity is initially prepared in the coherent states.

Analyzing of Quantum Entanglement with Concurrence in the Deep Lamb-Dicke Regime

Rasim Dermez

The entangled states of three-level of trapped ion and two phonons (into coherent state) in Lambda configuration forming a Hilbert space of 12-dimensional (D) are analyzed. The concurrence is considered "such as a quantum measure" in trapped ion-coherent state system. Four values of Lamb-Dicke parameter (LDP), eta=0.005, 0.07, 0.08$ and $0.09 are investigated by the worths of concurrence. We demonstrate that as eta is increased, sudden birth of entangled states in the system is increased. Thus, establishing of entangled states can be tuned by LDP.

Quantum memory and coherence dynamics of two dipole-coupled qubits interacting with two cavity fields under decoherence effect

Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed, Abdel‐Haleem Abdel‐Aty, Hichem Eleuch

This paper investigates the intrinsic decoherence effect on quantum memory and coherence dynamics of two dipole-coupled qubits in a non-degenerate bimodel cavity. Entropic uncertainty, entropy, and concurrence are utilized to examine the dynamics of quantum-memory-assisted entropic uncertainty relations, mixedness, and entanglement. The results indicate that the nonlinear interactions between the two qubits and the cavity generate quantum-memory-assisted entropic uncertainty, mixedness, and entanglement, which are reliant not only on the qubit–qubit interaction but also on the intrinsic decoherence and coherence intensity of the initial two-mode cavity states. For specific values of the dipole–dipole interaction, non-classical correlations can be enhanced By reducing the initial intensity coherence, the stability of the quantum memory-assisted entropic uncertainty relations, as well as the two-qubit mixedness of the intrinsic decoherence, are accelerated.

Dynamics of nonlocal correlation of two superconducting charge qubits induced by intrinsic decoherence

Fahad Aljuaydi, Nour Zidan, A.‐B. A. Mohamed

The generated nonlocal correlations of two superconducting-charge (SCC) qubits including uncertainty-induced nonlocality (UIN), Bell-Horodecki nonlocality, and negativity’s entanglement have been explored by intrinsic decoherence model. An initial separable two SCC-qubits state to study the generation of nonlocal correlations. By adjusting the intrinsic decoherence intensity and the two superconducting-qubits interaction parameters (of Josephson energies, the mutual two SCC-qubits coupling energy, and the difference between the Josephson SCC-qubit energies), we can control the produced maximum Bell-Horodecki nonlocality, UIN, and entanglement, which their dynamics align with the hierarchy principle. It is found that the generations of two-qubit states, having Bell-Horodecki nonlocality, UIN, and negativity entanglement, by the interactions of two SCC-qubits depend on their interaction parameters and intrinsic decoherence. For weak mutual two SCC-qubits coupling energy and the Josephson SCC-qubit energies with a slight difference between the Josephson SCC-qubit energies, the generated two SCC-qubit state has strong nonlocal correlation dynamics. The mutual coupling energy for two SCC-qubits can enhance the generation of weak nonlocal correlation dynamics when there is a significant difference between the Josephson SCC-qubit energies. Controlling Josephson energy, mutual coupling, and the energy difference of SCC-qubits can improve nonlocal correlations’ robustness against intrinsic decoherence.
