Abstract

With the use of a large number of mobile devices, the problem of key leakage becomes more and more serious. In view of the excellent characteristics of lattice cipher and forward-secure digital signature scheme, the construction of identity-based forward-secure digital signature based on lattice technology has become a research hotspot. However, the identity-based forward secure digital signature scheme on the existing grid has the disadvantage of excessive signature length. This paper uses the technique (without trapdoors) of Lyubashevsky and extended Samplepre, an efficient identity-based forward secure signature scheme from lattice is proposed. Its security is based on the Small Integer Solution (SIS) difficulty assumption, and the strong non-forgery of the signature scheme is achieved. Low computing overhead; The analysis results show that, compared with the existing schemes, the key and signature are smaller in size, more efficient in computing, able to resist quantum attacks, and more practical.

Research on Quantum-Attack-Resistant Strong Forward-Secure Signature Schemes

Fengyin Li, Junhui Wang, Mengxue Shang +2 more

The security of digital signatures depends significantly on the signature key. Therefore, to reduce the impact of leaked keys upon existing signatures and subsequent ones, a digital signature scheme with strong forward security could be an effective solution. Most existing strong forward-secure digital signature schemes rely on traditional cryptosystems, which cannot effectively resist quantum attacks. By introducing lattice-based delegation technology into the key-iteration process, a two-direction and lattice-based key-iteration algorithm with strong forward security is proposed. In the proposed algorithm, a unique key pair is assigned to the signer in every period. Based on the proposed algorithm, a strong forward-secure signature scheme is further put forward, which achieves resistance to quantum attacks. Performance analysis shows that under the security assumption of the SIS problem on the lattice, the proposed strong forward-secure signature scheme is existentially unforgeable under the random oracle model. Ultimately, based on the proposed strong forward-secure signature scheme, a remote identity-authentication scheme that is resistant to quantum attacks is proposed, ensuring post-quantum security in the user-authentication process.

Novel efficient identity-based signature on lattices

Jiangshan Chen, Yupu Hu, Liang Hong-mei +1 more

With the rapid development of electronic information technology, digital signature has become an indispensable part of our lives. Traditional public key certificate cryptosystems cannot overcome the limitations of certificate management. Identity-based cryptosystems can avoid the certificate management issues. The development of quantum computers has brought serious challenges to traditional cryptography. Post-quantum cryptography research is imperative. At present, almost all post-quantum identity-based signature (IBS) schemes are constructed using Gaussian sampling or trapdoor technologies. However, these two technologies have a great impact on computational efficiency. To overcome this problem, we construct an IBS scheme on lattices by employing Lyubashevsky’s signature scheme. Based on the shortest vector problem on lattices, our scheme does not use Gaussian sampling or trapdoor technologies. In the random oracle model, it is proved that our scheme is strongly unforgeable against adaptive chosen messages and identity attacks. The security level of our scheme is strongly unforgeable, which is a higher level than the existential unforgeability of other schemes. Compared with other efficient schemes, our scheme has advantages in computation complexity and security.

Forward Secure Proxy Signature Scheme over NTRU Lattice

YE Qing, YANG Xiaomeng, ZHAO Zongqu, ZHANG Jing

Most existing forward secure proxy signature schemes are constructed based on traditional number theory problems, such as large integer decomposition, discrete logarithm and bilinear pairs, and they are easy to be cracked in a quantum computing environment. In order to deal with the threat of quantum computing environment and reduce the risk of secret key leakage in proxy signature,an identity-based forward secure proxy signature scheme with NTRU lattice is constructed.Introduce forward secure features into the proxy signature over the lattice.Under the random prediction model, the security of the program is converted to the intractability of SIS,and a detailed efficiency analysis is also given.Analysis results show that the scheme realizes forward secrecy and strong non-repudiation,and it is verifiable and strongly identifiable. The computing efficiency is also improved as a result of the shortened signature key of the proxy signer, and shortened signature and signature key of the original signer.

Identity-Based Linkable Ring Signature on NTRU Lattice

Yongli Tang, Feifei Xia, Qing Ye +3 more

Although most existing linkable ring signature schemes on lattice can effectively resist quantum attacks, they still have the disadvantages of excessive time and storage overhead. This paper constructs an identity-based linkable ring signature (LRS) scheme over NTRU lattice by employing the technologies of trapdoor generation and rejection sampling. The security of this scheme relies on the small integer solution (SIS) problem on NTRU lattice. We prove that this scheme has unconditional anonymity, unforgeability, and linkability under the random oracle model (ROM). Through the performance analysis, this scheme has a shorter size of public/private keys, and when the number of ring members is small (such as N ≤ 8 ), this scheme has a shorter signature size compared with other existing latest lattice-based LRS schemes. The computational efficiency of signature has also been further improved since it only involves multiplication in the polynomial ring and modular operations of small integers. Finally, we implemented our scheme and other similar schemes, and it is shown that the time for the signature generation and verification of this scheme decreases roughly by 44.951% and 33.503%, respectively.

Efficient hierarchical identity-based signatures from lattices

Miaomiao Tian, Liusheng Huang, Wei Yang

Lattice-based hierarchical identity-based signature (HIBS) schemes are receiving significant attention due to provable security reductions and potential security for quantum computers. However, most of the existing HIBS schemes based on lattices are less efficient for practical applications. To make lattice-based HIBS schemes become more practical, this paper presents an efficient HIBS scheme from lattices. Both the secret key size and the signature length of our proposal are much shorter than those of other lattice-based HIBS proposals. Our scheme is proven to be strongly unforgeable against adaptive identity attacks in the random oracle model. The security of the construction relies on the standard short integer solution (SIS) assumption.

Forward-Secure Identity-Based Shorter Blind Signature from Lattices

Yanhua Zhang

Blind signature (BS) plays one of key ingredients in electronic cash or electronic voting system. However, the key exposures bring out very serious problems in insecure mobile devices. Forward-secure blind signatures preserve the validity of past signatures and prevent a forger from forging past signatures even if current secret key has been compromised. In this paper, we propose the first forward-secure identity-based shorter blind signature scheme from lattices which can resist quantum attack, and prove that our scheme satisfies the security requirements of blindness, unforgeability, and forward secrecy in the random oracle model. Furthermore, we also extend our construction to a forward-secure identity-based shorter blind signature in the standard model.
