Spatial separation of collinearly emitted broadband frequency-correlated photon pairs

Yuki Kamei, Bo Cao, Ryo Okamoto +1 more

The authors demonstrate the efficient separation of broadband frequency-entangled photon pairs generated in the same spatial and polarization mode. Entangled photons with a broad bandwidth of 90 nm are successfully separated using time-reversed Hong-Ou-Mandel interference.

Analysis of spatial modal entanglement using perturbation method technique

Divya Bharadwaj, Krishnan Thyagarajan

In this paper, we analyze the problem of generation of spatial mode entangled photon pairs using the perturbation method in a step index profile channel waveguide. It is shown that by a proper design of the channel waveguide it is possible to generate spatial mode entangled pairs of photons using a single QPM grating.

Toward Generation of Spatially-Entangled Photon Pairs in a Few-Mode Fiber

Afshin Shamsshooli, Cheng Guo, Francesca R. Parmigiani +2 more

We describe a novel scheme for spatial-mode-entangled photon-pair generation in a few-mode fiber. We experimentally verify the underlying inter-modal parametric processes with two-mode classical signal input and demonstrate high mode purity of the generated idler.
