In order to be able to study dissipation, the interaction between a single system and their environment was introduced in quantum mechanics. Master and quantum Langeving equations was derived and, also, decoherence was studied using this approach. One of the most used model in this field is a single harmonic oscillator interacting with a reservoir. In this work we solve analytically this problem in the resonance case with the evolution operator method. We use this result to study the conditional dynamics of a finite system of coupling, a bandgap quantum coupler. We study the conditional dynamics of the coupler on the computational basis by choosing a proper interaction time. This conditional dynamics provides a distinct realization of a quantum phase gate, which we name the relative phase gate.
In order to be able to study dissipation, the interaction between a single system and their environment was introduced in quantum mechanics. Master and quantum Langeving equations was derived. Moreover, decoherence has been studied using this approach. One of the most commonly used model in this research field is a single harmonic oscillator interacting with a reservoir. In this work we analytically solve this model, in the resonance case, using the evolution operator method. Then, we use this result to study a quantum coupler, which is a particular case where there are a finite number of harmonic oscillators interacting with the single one. After that, we focuses in the analisis of the conditional quantum dynamics of the quantum coupler (using the computational basis of two qubits) by choosing a proper interaction time. This conditional dynamics provides a realization of a new quantum phase gate, which we call the relative phase gate. To the best of our knowledge, this phase gate has not been previously defined or proposed.

Master and quantum Langeving equations was derived and, also, decoherence was studied using this approach. One of the most used model in this field of research is a single harmonic oscillator interacting with an infinite number of harmonic oscillators. In this work we analytically solve, with the evolution operator method, the Schrodinger equation for this model in the case of resonance. Also we address a different aspect of the quantum computing with linear optics. That is, we propose the linear bandgap quantum coupler, in the cases N=2 and N=3, to generate a new phase operator $U_{dp}^{\\pi} $ working on the two and three qubits basis like an alternative realization of a quantum phase gate.
