Abstract

We have explored the non-locality of two qubits interacting time-dependently with a nondegenerate parametric amplifier cavity fields in the presence of the Stark shift interaction term. The time-dependent two-qubit reduced density matrix is calculated numerically when the cavity fields are initially in two entangled coherent states. We investigate the non-locality via local Fisher information and negativity. It is shown that, the generated non-locality depends on the time-dependent two-qubit location, the Stark shift interaction, the difference between the mean photon numbers of the two cavity fields as well as the initial intensity coherent fields. The agreement of the generated correlations presented by the local Fisher information and the negativity depends on the physical parameters. The Stark shift non-linearity and the difference between the mean photon numbers leads to reducing the generated correlations. The local Fisher information is more robust against the Stark shift interaction than the negativity.

Atomic non-locality dynamics of two moving atoms in a hybrid nonlinear system: concurrence, uncertainty-induced non-locality and Bell inequality

A.‐B. A. Mohamed, Eied Mahmoud Khalil

Abstract The paper explores the non-locality dynamics of two moving atoms in a hybrid nonlinear system, which describes a nondegenerate parametric amplifier cavity containing two moving atoms with Stark shift interactions. Based on the Bell function, uncertainty-induced non-locality and concurrence, the two moving atomic non-locality is calculated numerically, when the cavity is filled initially by pair coherent fields. The results showed that the hybrid nonlinear qubit-cavity interactions have a high ability to generating quantum correlations. The amount of the generated quantum correlation can be improved and accelerated significantly with the increase of the time-dependent qubit location parameter. The increase of the Stark shift ratio and the difference between the mean-number photons of the two cavity fields leads to a clear deterioration of the generated quantum correlation.

Dynamics of two coupled qubits interacting with two-photon transitions via a nondegenerate parametric amplifier: nonlocal correlations under intrinsic decoherence

Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed, Ahmed Farouk, Mansour F. Yassen +1 more

In this study, an analytical solution for a novel intrinsic noise model represented by two coupled qubits inside a cavity, the S u ( 1 , 1 ) and S u ( 2 ) Lie group, is investigated. Each qubit interacts with a two-mode parametric amplifier through a nondegenerate two-photon process when the two-mode system is initially in a superposition of a generalized Barut–Girardello coherent state. The nonlinearity of the interaction and the initial two-mode fields lead to the generation of different quantum correlations (QCs), which are measured by log-negativity, uncertainty-induced nonlocality, and local quantum uncertainty (LQU). The generated QC of the interaction depends not only on the two-qubit coupling but also on the intrinsic noise and the initial coherent intensity. Our results show that the ability of the two-qubit coupling to protect and enhance the robustness and generation of the QCs depends on the superposition and the coherent intensity of the initial S u ( 1 , 1 ) state. Furthermore, the sudden birth and death of the log-negativity and the sudden variations of the LQU depend on the intrinsic noise and the two-qubit coupling.

Non-local correlation between two coupled qubits interacting nonlinearly with a two-mode cavity: Bell function, Trace norm and Bures distance quantifiers

A-B A Mohamed, Eied Mahmoud Khalil, S. Abdel‐Khalek

Abstract In this paper, we study the dynamics of two coupled qubits interacting with a two-mode parametric amplifier cavity through the nonlinear interactions of the photon processes under the intrinsic decoherence. The nonlinear unitary interactions lead to generating different types of nonlocal correlations via Bell nonlocality, trace-norm measurement-induced non-locality (MIN), and Bures-distance entanglement. Based on the intrinsic decoherence, the two-qubit states have stationary amounts of the MIN-correlation and Bures distance entanglement with more stability. It is found that the qubit–qubit interaction coupling is affected as additional decoherence. It leads to more oscillations and stability. The enhancement of the amount of the generated nonlocal correlations depends on the superposition of Barut-Girardello coherent states. The phenomenon of sudden birth/death and the Bell non-locality can be enhanced when the two-mode parametric amplifier cavity is initially prepared in the coherent states.

Local two-atom correlations induced by a two-mode cavity under nonlinear media: Quantum uncertainty and quantum Fisher information

Abdel‐Baset A. Mohamed, Eied Mahmoud Khalil, NASSER METWALLY +1 more

The nonlinearity effect on the various formed quantum correlations between two atoms interacting locally with a bimodal cavity is explored in this work. The local quantum Fisher information, local quantum uncertainty, and negativity are used to investigate the quantum correlation’s sensitivity to the cavity modes characteristics. It is demonstrated that when the ratio of the Stark shift of the two modes increases, the atomic quantum correlations rise. During the time intervals of sudden death negativity entanglement, the three two-atom correlation quantifiers reveal that the two-atom system can contain local Fisher information and local uncertainty correlations. The Stark shift may be utilized to amplify the produced atomic correlation, while the Kerr-like medium can be used to suppress it. The regularity, the amount of generated atomic correlations, and their immunity to the Stark shift as well as the Kerr-like medium non-linearities are improved when the mean photon number is increased. As a result, the cavity modes’ nonlinear parameters might be utilized as a controller to optimize atomic quantum correlations.

Nonclassical Atomic System Dynamics Time-dependently Interacts With Finite Entangled Pair Coherent Parametric Converter Cavity Fields

Abdelrahman Mohamed, Eied Mahmoud Khalil, Mahmoud Youssef Abd‐Rabbou

Abstract We consider a time-dependent model that describes a qubit time-dependently interacts with a cavity containing finite entangled pair coherent parametric converter fields. The dynamics of some quantum phenomena, as: phase space information, quantum entanglement and squeezing, are explored by atomic Husimi function, atomic Wehrl entropy, variance, and entropy squeezing. The influences of the unitary qubit-cavity interaction, the difference between the two-mode photon numbers, the initial atomic coherence, and the time-dependent qubit location are investigated. It is found that the regularity, the amplitudes and the frequency of the quantum phenomena can be controlled by the physical parameters. For the initial atomic pure state, the qubit-cavity entanglement, the qubit phase space information, and atomic squeezing can be generated strongly compared to those of the initial atomic mixed state. The time-dependent location parameters enhance the generated quantum phenomena, and its effect can be enhanced by the parameters of the two-mode photon numbers and the initial atomic coherence.

Entanglement analysis of a two-atom nonlinear Jaynes–Cummings model with nondegenerate two-photon transition, Kerr nonlinearity, and two-mode Stark shift

Hamid Reza Baghshahi, Mohammad Kazem Tavassoly, Mohammad Javad Faghihi

An entangled state, as an essential tool in quantum information processing, may be generated through the interaction between light and matter in cavity quantum electrodynamics. In this paper, we study the interaction between two two-level atoms and a two-mode field in an optical cavity enclosed by a medium with Kerr nonlinearity in the presence of a detuning parameter and Stark effect. It is assumed that the atom–field coupling and third-order susceptibility of the Kerr medium depend on the intensity of the light. In order to investigate the dynamics of the introduced system, we obtain the exact analytical form of the state vector of the considered atom–field system under initial conditions which may be prepared for the atoms (in a coherent superposition of their ground and upper states) and the fields (in a standard coherent state). Then, in order to evaluate the degree of entanglement between the subsystems, we investigate the dynamics of the entanglement by employing the entanglement of formation. Finally, we analyze in detail the influences of the Stark shift, the deformed Kerr medium, the intensity-dependent coupling, and also the detuning parameter on the behavior of this measure for different subsystems. The numerical results show that the amount of entanglement between the different subsystems can be controlled by choosing the evolved parameters appropriately.
