Entanglement evolution of a three-qubit system after interaction with even three-mode nonlinear coherent state

Abstract

Abstract In this paper, using an entangled three-mode field state, we study the production of entanglement in a three- qubit system. The entangled three-mode field state is defined as superposed three-mode nonlinear coherent state, which is shown to be entangled as an increasing function of the coherency parameter. The interaction between the field state and a system of three separable qubits is considered under Jaynes–Cummings model. Our study reveals that the three-qubit system becomes entangled after the interaction and the entanglement can be tuned by changing the coherency parameter of the initial field state. In addition, we show how population inversion is affected by the interaction.

Entanglement transfer from entangled nonlinear coherent states to separable qubits

Azam Anbaraki, Davood Afshar, Mojtaba Jafarpour

We study entanglement transfer from even and odd two-mode nonlinear coherent states to two separable qubits. The separable qubits are assumed to be in the following three states: both of the qubits are in the ground state, one qubit is in the ground state and the other is in a mixed state, and both of them are in a mixed state. The interaction between the field states and the system of qubits is considered under the Jaynes–Cummings model. We use negativity to evaluate the entanglement transfer to the system of qubits after interaction with the field states. The conditions for the production of the maximum amount of entanglement between qubits will be discussed. We observe that the maximum value of entanglement transfer is related to the interaction of odd nonlinear coherent states with the qubits when both of the latter are in the ground state.

Dynamics of entanglement in a two-mode nonlinear Jaynes-Cummings mode

A. B. M. Ahmed, S. Sivakumar

Dynamics of entanglement due to intensity-dependent interaction between a two-level atom and a single-mode electromagnetic field in a Kerr medium is studied. The form of the interaction is such that the Hamiltonian evolution is exactly solvable. The Hamiltonian is shown to be a deformed Jaynes-Cummings model admitting a closed, symmetric algebra. Dynamics of population inversion and atom-field entanglement are studied taking the initial state of the field to be either a coherent state or a squeezed vacuum. Analysis is extended to the case of a two-mode cavity field interacting with a two-level atom. For the two-mode case, the initial field is a pair coherent state or a two-mode squeezed vacuum. Effects due to nonlinearity, intensity-dependent interaction and detuning on the dynamics are discussed and compared with those of the single-mode case.

Entanglemnt in nonlinear three-qubits Jaynes — Cummings

Alexander R. Bagrov, Eugene K. Bashkirov

In this paper, we investigated the dynamics of entanglement of pairs of qubits in a system of three identical qubits that interact non-resonantly with the selected mode of a microwave resonator without loss with the Kerr medium by means of single-photon transitions. We have found solutions to the quantum time Schrodinger equation for the total wave function of the system for the initial separable, biseparable and true entangled states of qubits and the Fock initial state of the resonator field. Based on these solutions, the criterion of entanglement of qubit pairs — negativity is calculated. The results of numerical simulation of the negativity of qubit pairs have shown that the presence of disorder and Kerr nonlinearity in the case of an initial non-entangled state of a pair of qubits can lead to a significant increase in the degree of their entanglement. In the case of an initial entangled state of a pair of qubits, the disorder and the Kerr medium can lead to a significant stabilization of the initial entanglement.

The evolution property of three-body entanglement measure in Tavis-Cummings mode l

Zuo Zhan-Chun, Yun‐Jie Xia, 曲阜师范大学物理系,曲阜 273165

This paper studies the quantum entanglement of the Tavis-Cummings model for two steady identical two-level atoms interac-ting with a single-mode field. Whe n the field is vacuum and the two atoms stay in Einstein-Podolsky-Rosem entangle d state or disentangled state initially, we obtain that the system will evol ve to a three-body approximate W entangled state. The entanglement measure will change with the variation of system initial state, coupling coefficients, detuni ng degree and atomic population inversion. It should be noted that the atomic co upling coefficient exhibits the nonlinear effect and the entanglement measure os cillates periodically in accordance with atomic population inversion.

Generation of Entanglement Between Two Noninteracting Qubits via Interaction with Nonclassical Radiation Field

Jian Zou, Cai Jin-Fang, Bin Shao +1 more

We study the interaction between a single-mode quantized field and a quantum system composed of two qubits. We suppose that two qubits initially be prepared in the mixed and separable state, and study how entanglement between two qubits arises in the course of evolution according to the Jaynes–Cummings type interaction with nonclassical radiation field. We also investigate the relation between entanglement and purity of qubit subsystem. We show that different photon statistics have different effects on the dynamical behavior of the qubit subsystem. When the qubits are initially prepared in the maximally mixed and separable state, for coherent state field we cannot find entanglement between two qubits; for squeezed state field entanglement between two qubits exists in several short period of time; for even and odd coherent state fields of large photon number, the dynamical behavior of the entanglement between two qubits shows collapse and revival phenomenon. For odd coherent state field of small photon number, the entanglement with both qubits initially prepared in maximally mixed state can be stronger than that with both qubits initially prepared in pure states. For fields of small photon number, the entanglement strongly depends on the states they are initially prepared in. For coherent state field, and odd and even coherent state fields of large photon number, the entanglement only depends on the purity of the initial state of qubit subsystem. We also show that during the evolution the unentangled state may be purer than the entangled state, and the maximum degree of entanglement may not occur at the time when the qubit subsystem is in the purist state.

Generation of quantum coherence in two-qubit cavity system: qubit-dipole coupling and decoherence effects

A-B A Mohamed, H. A. Hessian, Hichem Eleuch

Abstract The intrinsic decoherence effect for two qubits interacting with a coherent field, under the dipole-dipole interaction and two-photon resonance, is analytically described. We investigate numerically the population inversion and the quantum coherence. The results show that the generated mixture entropy and the entanglement negativity, can be enhanced and protected by the dipole-dipole interaction and by reducing the initial coherent field intensity. In particular, we find that, the collapses and revivals of the population inversion present high sensitivity to these physical parameters. The nonlinearity of the two-photon processes leads to a generation of a strong two-qubit entanglement. This generated entanglement depends on the initial coherent field intensity, the dipole-dipole interaction and the intrinsic decoherence.
